The Z1300 is as you say a huge motorbike, much too big for a small person like me. I would be scared of dropping this bike. But as I have mentioned before, I have seen the Z1300 win the Castrol 6 Hour production race at Bathurst in the 1970s. The riders would be scraping the engine cases across the mountain bends and then have the throttle flat out down Conrod Straight. These were very brave racers. Teams of two men racing flat out for 6 hours.

Unrelated to that race, but I went for ride with a rider of Z1300 to the winding roads in high speed, He continued rubbing the exhaust mufflers of his bike that whole time
I believe this bike was made to compete with the CBX 1000. In my opinion it did well to surpass it's performance. Very nice to see the owner ride it well. It is in such immaculate condition. I wish i could own one of these ❤.
The Z1300 and the CBX1000 were competitors in high performance motorcycle. However, they are good brothers of the same category now and I admire both of big motorcycle😊

昔、1300を購入する所でしたが、仕様国のコトでゴタゴタした為に、RB(レッド…)さんの所でZ1100Rを購入しました
初めて1300の現車を目にした時は、でかさに驚きましたねぇ
今では、それ以上にでかいバイクがぞろぞろ出てますが……
色々乗り継ぎましたが、久し振りにインジェクションになった最終型1300をRBさんで見たらば、😳アレッ!! こんなに小さかったっけ❓ でかさを感じなかったです
周りが大きいのが沢山出て来てるから タイヤも細いし😥
けど、1度は1300に乗ってはみたかったですね🙁
今は、🚀からVN2000に乗り換えてビッグツインのドコドコ感を楽しんでいます
今では超ド級バイクは一つのカテゴリーとして確立されてますが
40数年前はまさに巨人モンスターでした、一般ライダーは手を出してはいけないバイクの代表ですね(笑)

ライバルのリッターバイクが210km/h前後で、ホンダCBX1000が220km/hでした Z1300は文句なしに量産市販車世界最速でした。
