$10k fine plus insurance, driver and Trucking company paying for repair/restoration cost to make it safe. I would also revoke the driver's CDL. What i'd do either retractable bollards on either side of the bridge that would pop up based on height and weight if either is over before covered bridges like this one they would pop up and prevent the offending vehicle from crossing. option 2 close the bridge to anything larger than a UTV and have a single or two lane concrete bridge as close down stream as possible for normal traffic including semi trucks.
Did the warehouse have appropriate signage for the truck entrance and why would they build it in the middle of nowhere instead of off a main interstate?
@@armysniperman80 that's not the first time a truck hit the bridge. Why are trucks missing the entrance and ending up on that road? Are they not properly marked and visible?
@@armysniperman80 from the pictures this guy showed that bridge was clearly posted 11ft 10 inches ,, and any truck driver worth their CDL knows exactly how tall their truck is ,, speaking from personal experience as a former truck driver ,,i always knew how tall my truck was even if i had a flat bed load ,and knew how much my truck weighed too
@@armysniperman80 I meant the warehouse not the bridge. It should be accessible from a main interstate with appropriate signage. If y'all knew what warehouse she was going to why not help her with directions?
Gotta love the lady in the red vest!💪👍 Great catch, and video!
Infuriating!!
Thanks for the footage, I shared in a couple spots on Facebook.
"How much of a moron can you be? Not much more than that." LOL. People do not take that as a challenge!!
Makes those of us with a CDL look bad...
Love the lady from the beginning!
Get the title right. "Woman Driving A Semi Destroys Red Covered Bridge". The semi couldn't have done it without her.
I know you can't fix stupid but that one is absolutely hopeless.
will it be fixed like it was before?
She's a steering wheel holder.
She WAS a steering wheel holder!
It was on the Chicago news.

Woman driver jokes anybody !?
Bring in more out of state people , and see how it goes 😅
That'll buff out on the truck.
1886 is how old it is
Older. It was built in 1863 according to the bronze plaque that used to be just inside the end with the most damage. It’s over 150 years old.
