I don’t live anywhere near there, I don’t know who this gentleman is, or his family. But I’m sitting here in Philly crying right now. I am so sorry for the loss of this man who was just doing his job, protecting the citizens that he swore to protect. God bless his family, his coworkers, his friends. You are all in my prayers this night.🌹
They do this in So-Cal, and it is wonderful, as well as emotional to watch. And their dead deserve this show of respect. Fire trucks and ambulances will stop on the overpasses with their lights flashing lending their support as well as the general public who support our first responders, as they deserve our respect for putting themselves on the front lines to protect and save us. While some drivers complain about the traffic, everyone else tells them to knock it off and support the ceremony. With such disregard and disrespect for ethical law enforcement officers, they deserve this ceremony as we who are grateful for them salute their fallen. I'm glad to see other communities do this as well. And it is beautiful as their flashing lights are like colorful stars especially on cloudy days or when the sun is setting. Very emotional and inspirational.
