It’s interesting how they change details about the characters for a joke. Penny is appalled when Bernadette asks if her family ate her dead pig, she says they didn’t eat it because it was a beloved member of the family who’s now buried in the backyard, but during Prof. Proton’s funeral she confesses she’s never been to a funeral and says “I've just never known anyone that died. I had a pet pig when I was a kid. When he died we didn't have a funeral, we had a barbecue.”
Some pigs are beloved members of the family and others are just livestock.

Sheldon singing "We Will Rock You" isn't a shocker. We've all heard it millions of times and he can perfectly remember the lyrics even after hearing it once. Not to mention his brother and his father liked that kind of music so he may have heard this song even more than most people (I don't remember any Queen references on Young Sheldon but the brother and the father listened to bands that are similar to Queen so it's not unreasonable to assume they listened to Queen).

She works all that at work and makes more money than them, then she comes home and has to do all the housework because they rarely help with that (they did in "The Maternal Combustion" after she convinced them to, but not after that). That must be incredibly stressful and she handles it well, though it never made sense to me that she didn't get a divorce.

The first episode made me not like Penny's dad and Amy's mom. It also made me appreciate my own parents even more. They had their own flaws, but they took great care of their animals and they never locked anyone in a sin closet. The ending didn't make much sense either. How did the men get home? How did Amy's mom make her sit in Penny's closet (she wasn't even there so she had neither the ability nor the authority to do this)?
I really liked Howard and Raj's band. That's one of the best things about the later seasons. I love "Thor and Doctor Jones." We will hear a few more of their songs later on and there's a few more new developments with this band yet to come.
Those old hippie vans like that are actually so much fun to be in. There's so much space! My friend's dad had one and he would let us use it from time to time as late teens and into our early 20's. Awesome for road trips as long as it's not in really shitty condition.

My all-time favorite book is Richard Feynman's memoir, "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman." I've read it (and its sequel, "What Do You Care What Other People Think?" at least eight times.
It's full of very entertaining anecdotes, which were made into a mildly entertaining movie, "Infinity" (1995) starring Matthew Broderick and Patricia Arquette.

His father, John, was a star in western films, his brother Robert was in Revenge of the Nerds, and the most famous brother is David who starred as Caine (aka "Grasshopper") on the 70s series Kung Fu and also Bill in the Kill Bill film(s) directed by Tarantino.
The 3 carradine brother played the Younger Brothers as part part of the greatest casting stunts in movie history - the Long Riders where 4 sets of acting brothers played 4 sets of brothers
And Justin LaMotte in "North and south". That's how you play a bad-guy.
A funny little tidbit. Watch Penny during the song in the comic book store. She is doing everything she can to keep it together. She wants to bust out laughing. There are outtakes from the scene that show them all laughing, but especially Penny. Apparently this was the best one they got, but look and you can still tell she's about to burst with laughter. 😂😂
