I read long long ago that the statistics of a car crash can range from 1 in every 8 seconds to 1 in every 24 seconds. For fatal car accidents its one in every 15 minutes. Do to my job and previous jobs I drive all the time, I have witnessed countless accidents. I have even known people personally who died in them, including at least 1 I might of been the last person they talked to. Its so close to home I think people just accept it instead of fear it mostly. I feel for poor Dadlus ,I have gotten horrible news at worst times before.
Those people who are like "Then there's still a chance" are never appeasable. Once the thought gets into their head and rationalizes irrational fears, there's no point in arguing with them.
@@darkwhispersstories47 Seems a bit hyperbolic. But, okay. Personally, I'd rather drive someplace if I can help it. A part of the reason is that I'm not a particular fan of heights. The other reason would be that I'd rather plan ahead and take my time to get there.
I’m sure she realizes that it’s irrational, but that’s anxiety for ya (and phobias in general). They’re not logical, they’re not reasonable and you can only learn to navigate them, not cure them, because you can’t. And to be fair to Emirichu, she still got on a plane and went on the trip, despite the fact that she was anxious about it, so it’s not like she lets anxiety rule her entire life.
11:56 Dude I had to deal with bed bugs recently! I and my grandma (we share a room and bed) were getting eaten the most and scartched ourselves to scabs. My mom went in with 80% Vinegar mixture to spray our bed and bedside tables(one was removed as she found they were molting behind a salt rock lamp on it). We found the mothership when my mom gets to the headboard, where my grandma's startrek blanket was with a large Zombie theme button, my dude... They were all stuffed under that button. They took the sillowette of the fycking thing! ABOVE MY HEAD!! My mom shived tgat whole blanket in an insolated gatorade container that you see at football games full of boiling hot water to burn and drown that hive! We also washed all the bedding with hot water and the drier on the sanatize setting. We did the same with the pillows, though one of mine had a hole and puked its stuffing a bit. Hadnt dealt with them since! A fun lil edit to add, my dad had such hibby jibbies about the bugs, he wouldn't get in the bed my parents shared unless my mom washed and santized their bedding. Whats worse is that Beg Bugs are attracted to heat, like your body or breath, and my dad ran like a heater. So he get eaten while my mom would be ignored. He's also bald so he feel them crawl on the pillow.... Those buggers from the mothership traveled to their bed at night and would retreat back.
Big recommendation for Bed Bugs as well is to use diatomaceous earth which you can typically place on areas where they would climb up. It causes them to dehydrate which is an easy way to affect them in mass. But still takes time like any other treatment. All about diligence.
You know, believe it or not im kinda glad she had a bad trip like this to have news like that, WAIT!, here me out!, im not a monster i swear, the reason im glad is because everytime i get news like that i had a fantastic day before getting the news, i always get good days when something horrible happens, im sick of that, it makes me sad to have that happen, alot
My family has had to deal with bedbugs twice - both while travelling... and both times I remained unscathed. First time, folks went up north - travelled back, booked a hotel in the in-between part before returning. Bedbugs followed them home, so we got a bunch of fumigation things to purge our house of bedbugs as everything was cleaned. However, I was never affected by the bedbugs - which was weird. Both of my parents complained about it, but not only was I never bitten - we never found any in my room. The second time was pretty much the same as the first - going to a different hotel, taking steps to avoid Bedbugs yet we still got Bedbugs. Yet again, I was never effected - HOWEVER it just so happened around that time, Mark Robert released his video on Bedbugs, which I watched. And it was there I learned that A. Not all people get the same reaction from bedbugs, and B. The period bedbugs are most active... is a period where I am still awake half the time. So my sleep-deprived state saved me from bedbugs twice over! :D I showed my folks the video, and they REALLY took it to heart... well, my mom did at least. My dad had a love/hate relationship as it helped ease my mom's worries... but then she started buying all the stuff Mark told her to buy to prevent future Bedbug incursions. It was still funny to watch.
