- Legend of Oro Arrowhead - Ancient folklore speaks of a shaman who was given a golden arrowhead with the magical gift of truth and vitality. What this movie doesn’t tell you about is that the Cherokee come from the east side of the east Ohio river valley of Pennsylvania and each time they were moved (a total of 4 times) gold, nickel, copper and sliver where found. My Grandfather was Oxindine he lived through that forced march from Georgia to Oklahoma when 1/4 of our people died. I look forward to the resurrection.
What also is not mentioned is that Cherokee are a very strong people and when they got to Oklahoma they re built and created schools and stores and a post office etc. It must also be mentioned, rich Cherokee wanted the removal of the others because they wanted the land. There is a lot more to this story than is spoken. That comes from a book written by Cherokee.
Mankind has done unspeakable acts towards one another!!! Enslavement, plundering, murder just to satisfy their lust and greed for power and wealth!! I am South African and my people have gone through a holacast!! Woman and children put in concentration camps, raped, starved, killed. Burned down more than 35 000 small farms in order to get the men to surrender cause the British Empire could not defeat the "Boers" who were just farmers and wanted to make an honest peaceful living!!! For the British Empire to get their hands on Gold and Diamonds!!
All nations, cultures have suffered!! Israel 🇮🇱 and The Jewish Nation targeted by Islam, Russia, China and yes!! The Vatican and the Roman Catholic Church first and foremost!!! The North American Indian tribes enslaved, murdered, raped!! Mankind has a lot to answer for. The rapture draws neigh!! So is the wrath of the Lamb of God for those that rejected Him. Never heard of the Cherokee word Ara or Oro as used in this film. I thought Ama was the word for water.
Another little fun fact for you. Through out North America, specifically US and Canada the Native tribes only control less than 3 prevent of the land in the US ans nearly 9 million acres in Canada.
Even though the reservations have been whittled down to that, the majority of natural resources in both of those country are still on tribal lands.
This reservations are small but very rich in minerals.
My stepdad was half Cherokee and a world famous water Dowser, member of the ASD, and he taught me how to Divine. Before CV-19 took him he was the sweetest person I have known.
This movie taught me something new about the Cherokee Nation.

I grew up in the U.P. Michigan and most classes had an Indian for a classmate and since classes were ten and under, they didn't get lost. We were blessed. And now, I have a daughter-in-law who is Indian (from India). Continued to be blessed.

Good Family Movie, imho. Well-paced. Fistfights but no blood, no gore.
Right, he would fight off the bad guys, they would attack again, he fought them off again, etc.
I really liked this movie. The entire cast was great. even though it was low budget, the entire movie was well done and well acted. Five Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Excellent fun flick. Adventure, comedy, rolled together. I was almost turned off by the fantasy part but it really isn't much nor does it get in the way of the fun sand adventure.
What some consider fantasy is more real then those with no eyes to see will ever know. I wrote my memoirs as a fantasy novel even though all true story. Only your own beliefs prevents you from knowing the real world is mutable not static. We are all made of magical 🎵.
This Movie was a Breath of Fresh Air!!
Love how the rifle barrel gets dragged along the dirt as the sniper gets up. I wonder if that rifle blows up later when fired?

@@martileonard8254 this is not a trilogy that I am aware of. The trilogy that is referred to starts with Mandy and the secret tunnel. It's a kid's movie, about the Trail of tears. And about Mandy learning about her family history. It's worth the watch even as an adult.

Enjoyable film, good twist at end but for me it’s the Mustang that was the star of the movie
Yet everyone forgets the blond hair blue eyes who brought all tribes out of poverty and to this day are providing for there people. This blond hair blue eyes is the white buffalo. He is Cherokee 😎

That was a really enjoyable movie!
The story was a good one. The acting, well let's just say sometimes not to bad but other times could use a lot f work. And a number of scenes very hokey. Like how could he loose a truck on a one lane road in the bush. All the truck had Todo was to keep driving. Also being a major in the army it was rather stupid of him calling for backup when already on the scene. Many others as well. But it was still fun to watch knowing that the evil lady and her useless band of misfits will get what they deserve.

They could have found an actress who actually looked native, i married a native girl and live on a reserve and none of them are as white as me 😉🤔but there is a lot of mixed blood here in Saskatchewan Canada 🇨🇦
Better yet, hire a native. No, I don't think that all roles can only be filled by an actual example of their character (you don't have to use actual gays to play gay roles, though better to never have gay roles at all). For something like an indigenous role, it generally IS better to give an indigenous the role. It looks more authentic, is likely to bring authenticity to the role, and gives an actor who could use the work and exposure both.

I had brothers and a step mom who were part Indian. In the winter they were as white as us but in the summer they could get such a nice tan but I couldn't. My stepmother almost looked black from laying in the sun so much and yes she ended up with curable skin cancer.

It really gets a little weird here… especially on game days. Although… cars on blocks and half buried tires painted white to line out where the front yard is was common and fashionable around Ellijay when I was growing up here too. So yeah…. All of North Georgia does have it’s own “unique” culture.
They are as crazy as that and more. Athens is the only place sane in the entire state.

This was a good clean movie. I really enjoyed it. Pretty good fight in it also with the guy and the Cherokee woman fighting 4 or 5 guys. That's all I'll give away though.

everybody gets startled by something. its just a movie, and there are no majors that do much but sit on there ass , get fat and yap in real life, no shooting guns or weapon use, there beyond that

i totally agree, and thruout the entire movie, he made one mistake after another, not very tough for an army ranger, at one point he said the waterfall was too far to hike, so he needed a 4 wheeler, but later the indian girl made it there easily on foot, and found the arrowhead just lying on the ground in perfect sight, how convenient.

For a little budget movie these actors were great. Proving once again. You don’t need explosions and smash cars to make a movie.

Okay, this story is good. The actors in the film are also exceptionally good. I can only think that it has a low budget and BAD EDITING. I easily spoted a few errors in the film editing which should have had retakes but didn't. One scene showed him carrying a backpack with no shotgun and the following scene had the shotgun in the pack. There were three other errors also. Hum? Overall, a remarkable story with good actors. Film editor gets a 'D', Director gets a 'C', Producers gets a 'F'. And the actors get an "A+".
