I have used envy green but have not got results. It attracts only tortoises not carps. During using it I cought three tortoises from 7 kg to 15 kg. weight. Can you guide me properly ? Thanks
humanity First thanks for your comment! That's a tricky one as in the uk obviously we don't get tortoises! All I can n suggest is avoid the areas that the tortoises usually frequent! I'm aware that they eat quite a lot so maybe because of this, and food availability the carp may feed elsewhere anyway! The only other thing I can think of is to still use envy green, moulded around a method feeder but use plastic corn as a hookbait! Also try zig rigs although you may foul hook the tortious! It's trial and error, we have a similar problem with crayfish in the uk and also France! I hope this helps! Let me know how you get on, I'm very interested to hear! Best wishes!
Lee Rudge Angling Adventures Many thanks for the expertise reply. You are exactly right that 2 tortoises were foul hooked & the 3rd one was hooked by biting the bait. I used it with feeder sinker using the bread on hook. One thing I couldn't understand that what meaning of "STILL USE OF ENVY GREEN "? Does carp not like this stuff now? If yes, then why? Please explain. One thing more about the demonstration of paste bait in your vedio, does it work in fresh & natural waters? Plz let me know about the bait tech products which could be worked reliably to catch the Carp in fresh and natural waters. I m interested in to use paste or dough bait. In this regard your expertise opinion is needed. best regards.
humanity First No problem! I would still use envy green because carp really love it! Then if you find its still attracting the tortoise then work your way through different baits until you find something the tortoises don't like! It is a tricky question because my knowledge of tortoises is none existent and I've only ever seen them in my local zoos! Regarding the paste, it is intended for freshwater! I will be honest, your question had got me very interested to learn more, so I will be doing a bit of research on the Internet, it's an interesting subject! I'm really hoping to help you solve your problem and keen to see how you get on! Please keep in touch! Best wishes!
Lee Rudge Angling Adventures Last Sunday I tried green envy again belive me in the winter whereas the tortoises are hidden in sand in water basement the against of this act 2 tortoises were moving around the ground bed where I was trying
Finley GT Hi, thank you for you’re comment. Unfortunately it’s been a busy last 12 months for me, for many reasons both good and bad and I haven’t done too much fishing. I had quite a bit planned this year and now with the coronavirus it’s stopped all of us fishing for a while. Frustrating ain’t it but has to be done. As soon as the lockdown is lifted I’ll be back out, fishing and filming more videos. Sorry I haven’t uploaded for a while though, I hope you understand. Take care mate.
I use to use gelatine and put in the fridge over night
A great way to do it! It’s much easier these days though to just buy ready made paste I find!
