I am a security officer at night and people ask what's the worst part of my job staying awake?and I say no it's telling the homeless they can't sleep at the property im protecting
carlos ordones Homelessness has been an issue here in SF for decades. Way before this influx of illegals. So therefore that is NOT THE ROOT CAUSE. UNDERSTAND? YOU HAVE A STUPID BRAIN. LOL
I lost my home as well. I chose to work while living in bushes. 3months of living on the side of the road.. it was horrible but,I made a choice. No drugs or alcohol.
What planet do you live on? Those homeless are not average people that just can't afford a place. It's mostly low lives, mostly transients from other states. They don't have to stay there. I live out west (Not California) or any coast state, my work is begging to hire people starting at 14.00 an hour.. The US is at "Full employment". Any time it gets in the 3% range. California is double that, as is Oregon. Liberal states are hurting, others are thriving..
BARBARA MANY OF THESE HOMELESS DO NOT WANT HELP UNLESS IT COMES FROM YOUR POCKET AND A BOTTLE OF BOOZE IS ATTACHED TO IT, THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN SOBERING UP, WORKING A JOB, AND BEING RESPONSIBLE, ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS BUM AROUND AND DO NOTHING AND THAT IS A STONE COLD FACT
Silver Chopsticks actually is is true you mentaly and pscycoligical become someone else like a bad habit or addiction it becomes a cycle that is very hard to break it takes a lot more than throwing them in a place it takes therapy and behavior modification kinda a type of PTSD there in there own war
If you ever find yourself choosing between food and rent, ALWAYS choose rent. And for god's sake, never become dependent on drugs. Once you're homeless, it can be very hard to reverse.
You have to eat, food is just as important as rent! Trouble is all the fast food joints while cheap are selling poison, not nutritious food really..mostly chemicals! smdh
I was homeless for 15 years. I always chose to live and sleep in the woods....deep woods. I usually set up a hammock and fire. Then I rolled up all belongings (back pack) and stashed it nearby, Worked every day to feed myself and my addiction. Alcohol. 9 years sober now, and life is beautiful. Thank you God, and thank you America, for the chance to change, for the opportunity of happiness.
@@daniellerenee9371 Sure. It was love....Love of a woman, and a chance at a bright future with her. We are still together and in love today. Thank you for your question.
I am a San Francisco Native living elsewhere now. I am proud of you even I don't know you, I hope more people can get out of the situation like you did
My dad died homeless he was 59 years- old. He had sever mental issues, health problems, and was an alcoholic. He never got help did not want it. He lost his section 8 because he fell asleep while smoking. He lost everything, but he was a lost soul in his 30's, and was unable to cope living inside. He was dead before he died.
I'm so blessed to live in my small rural PA town. I own my own home I paid 65,000 dollars for and its a great little house with a car port and garage. I'm a stay at home mom and my husband makes 13 dollars an hour and that is what we live off of. We struggle sometimes but not like this. If we lived in this city we probably would be homeless!! Rent for a two bedroom apartment where I live is roughly 500 dollars a month! Glad I'm a country girl.
BUT SHE IS NOT IN NY SHE IS IN PA. AND THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE AND THE PRICE YOU QUOTED APPLIES TO NYC AND IN A RURAL PA TOWN THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE FRIEND, A HUGE DIFFERENCE
Noone should be homeless, veterans, children, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters......Everyone deserves a home and some homeless people are from broken homes.
what if the true problem was the left vs right paradigm that perpetuates hyper partisan policy ,excessive bureaucracy and less real solutions? for every Pelosi there is a McConnel
Being homeless in San Francisco is hard. You have to sleep in decent neighborhoods to avoid trouble. I lost my residence last year after being in a freak accident on the job. I get work comp , but no city services. I use the money from work comp that to buy food. I'm currently in an 8 week FRP Program from my doctor's office. That program pays for a hotel Mon-Fri. Weekends are outside. I have 5 weeks left in the FRP Program, after that it's back on the streets. I'm a minimalist regardless, makes living outside easier. I don't believe I am going to be homeless forever, but I accept the fact that it happened. I would definitely accept help or services if they were offered. I am interested in permanent housing.
@@tompain2751 What does another job have to do with it? Im talking about capitalism poisoning our water tables, and taking our precious resources and turning them into landfill. Im talking about the depletion of the rain forests and the extinction of wildlife. Im talking about fossil fuels causing a rise in temperature. Im talking about the plastic ocean, and the dying corals. Im talking about the selling off of the Amazon forests, and the fracking of our lands for gas and oil. Pesticides, Panama Papers, yada yada yada ...I often say, capitalism is a shit-where-you-eat system, and it continually proves this to be true. Look, if you are going to have a world economic system, should it not be held responsible for every economic problem that it has under it? Annually, the system of capitalism hovers around 82% of all capital being stolen from nature (mined, harvested, drilled, etc). Answer me this, as Sir David Attenborough often asks, how do you expect to have infinite growth, as per capitalism, on a finite planet, the earth? Homelessness too, is just another incompetency of the systemically flawed economic method we have come to know as capitalism.
There is a nice lawn around pelosi's house with a fence around it. Seems like a shame to not use it. Check out mad maxie's nearly $5 mil home, might want to call on her. She doesn't live in her district though, it's too gross for her.
This city is extremely hypocritical when spending millions of $$$ to support ILLEGALS, yet, they have an explosion of homelessness of American citizens. I'll never understand.
They were paid to invade, conquer, and to turn USA into a shit hole: Islam of America (650) 871 - 7183 (obozo's monument) 373 Alta Vista Drive South San Francisco, California 94080 Americans voted for a black Trojan Horse to be president of USA
This news story is very empathic to the plight of these poor people. These homeless people are doing their best to survive God bless them. I admire their strength and resillience. I pray for them that they stay safe, keep healthy and find homes ❤
maybe their purpose is to show what doesn't work Here's what worked for me: live below your means don't do drugs pick up a penny when you see one stay out of restaurants make you own coffee buy used then fix it when it breaks/wears out cut your own grass - don't buy cable for your tv vacation in your back yard with some hotdogs and a couple of bottles of beer and your response: You Can't Tell Me How To Live - I'm An American
gary gerard I hear what your saying and that’s definitely the way I handle my money but we don’t know everyone’s situation or struggles! Have a heart sir
gary gerard - Thats funny, I pick up any change I find, even pennies - lol - I saved & scrimped to buy my own beautiful home in a safe & wonderful neighborhood with a 30% deposit, it’s doubled in value in 3 1/2 years where I live in Central CA. I don’t drink or do drugs; I don’t gamble or buy lottery tickets; I shop at thrift stores for clothes, shoes, household items, just about everything even Xmas & birthday gifts since many items & clothes are in excellent condition & have tags in them. I don’t go out to eat, I make my own coffee & iced tea; I eat healthy at home with lots of salads, fruits & veges; I seldom eat meat, if I do it’s a roast or chicken in the crockpot which lasts me for days; I combine errands & doctor appts so I don’t waste gas & wear & tear on my cars ( I have two, but selling one of them); I only drive my car 2 or 3 times per week; I live near two discount grocery stores, so often I walk there; my AC just broke down, but I have a portable cooler if it gets too hot, saves a ton of money not having AC on my electric bill!! There’s many ways to save but living within your means is Rule No 1 - I think most of these homeless are strung out on drugs & alcohol ( you can tell) & many are mentally ill or criminals looking for easy targets; some may have fallen on hard times, but very few in my opinion. Iam truly blessed, thankjng the Lord everyday & praying for the people who aren’t as fortunate as Iam
Scott Ratliff I have found another "everything wrong in the world is trump's fault" Open your eyes.. it's your locally elected officials that are fucking up your city.. yet, you all keep voting in the same people homing things will change..

Elephant In The Room I doubt that. They are just renting out a place to stay. Maybe some greed. The fee is laid out to you the papers are their to read before signing. If the lease is up or no lease they can raise the rent just like anywhere else. You're conning yourself when you don't read the fine print and pay attention. Then you have supply and demand in real estate with people that are willing to pay over a million for homes there that cost $60k to $250k where I live. And it's your choice to keep staying in one of the most expensive areas of the U.S.. I don't get it. Smart people have left that place already. My sister finally left California after 10 years. She never could get ahead there. She left long before her money was completely gone and living in the streets. She's doing fine now in Virginia. Had a job lined up before she got there. There's a lot of age discrimination in the job market as well in California. The funny thing is people in California still tease me about where I live. Saying i live in a third world country and whatnot. But my place would be over a million there and I live in an upper middle class area in a home paid off in 10 years. My entire household expenses including home/car insurance and personal property tax is just over $1250/mo.. on my $1500/mo. budget. My take home pay is over $6k/mo. and I'm completely debt free. Never see tent cities and slums here like that.
Homeless benefits are an area that allows them to set up tents, without rent. Homeless benefits are a place to go to eat free food, and a restroom to use for personal hygiene, and elimination. These are the benefits they seek.
I was homeless for 10-years slept on the bridge for 2 years I believe that everyone who desires to get out from under that situation can do so if they want to in the ones who don't want to is right where they want to be but pray for the ones you want to change that lifestyle
Got to where I am by living responsibly, getting an education, serving my country and not becoming a perennial fucking parasite, drug addict and alcoholic.
I worked in H.R. for 50 years and watched the decline of middle class jobs as the corrupt politicians sold us out (both parties) sent the manufacturing and labor over seas. This gave the owners/CEO billions instead of millions, while the middle class declined. I live in CA and at one time, in Long Beach, we had the McDonald Douglas Airplane Co., who employed 40 thousand employees. Now, the large plant and buildings were leveled and they built condos, some small businesses, etc. California budgets billions for the homeless and nothing ever happens. The corrupt dem politicians, spend the money doing research on how to spend the billions, yet never spend the billions on the homeless. Newsom allows a stipend to the homeless and many spend the money on drugs and also receive free drug kits, with needles, etc. The druggies are not required to attend rehab. The whole U.S. have declined due to the corrupt politicians who sold out to big business. The only jobs left are fast food, clerk, housekeeping and low paying. Bring back the middle class jobs, i.e. manufacturing cars in Detroit, shoes in St. Louis, steel in Cleveland, airplanes in Los Angeles, on and on. The loss of the middle class work, caused those once great cities to become ghettos. Dirty politicians.
I dont, i reject the idea that I have to appreciate all the hardworking since I am a children, hardworking pays off and no one else could be blamed for your own life situation
Gunpowder & Lace we have Republicans here but I guess there’s fraud in the voting system... California politicians refused the ID identification, so I guess every elections here had been fraud, with illegal aliens voting!!! We are sick and tired of Democrats who favors illegals than US citizens
So this was filmed was made in 2017, it's 2019 where's the change, it's worse, all over the Country, why is this happening, very scary, my heart goes out to you all these people, but mostly for the children 😒
Agreed! It's very sad. Housing costs are going up all over the country. Businesses aren't paying you to keep up with the cost of living. And the rich, keep getting richer and the poor, keep getting poorer. And the rest of us are trying to stay ahead. So this doesn't happen to us.
@TGood Dukes exactly!!! Everything is given to illegals, housing, food, medical and jobs. Taxes go up to support the illegals and price American citizens out. Sanctuary cities and states are killing America.
Pelosi, a multi-millionaire (which def isn't because of her standard Congress paycheck), drives past thousands of homeless people everyday in her limo after she left her huge gated mansion, security system with her armed bodyguards. The more they can create, incite and deflect any propaganda onto Trump, The quicker people forget about their multi-million dollar accounts in the Kaymen Islands.
@Al Bundy literally was thinking the same thing, people need to learn how to live underneath their means sheesh. Move to a small town and figure it out, of all the places to make something happen wth are you doing in one of America's most expensive cities
@Ed G But if I buy a property in that area but am banned from building a technically feasable high rise, even though i have cash in hand, that isn't a free market, is it? Thats my point. You can't claim "oh well its a free market thats why rents blah blah" when it isn't, because those who bought property 30 years ago and watched the world change from their comfy front porch dont want to play by the rules that made them so wealthy
Always angry me to see this. I was homeless from 2014-2017 even though I own a home after filling bankruptcy in 14. I Lost everything my job my fiance and my 4 month old boy. The only thing i was able to keep was my 2 bedroom houses that I rented out because I could not afford the mortgage payment. It wasn't easy for 3 years I slept on the ground and showered at at gym before I went to work and school. Eventually I made it back the first time I was back in my house sleeping on a air mattress because that was all i could afford at the time i knew the hard work had paid off. Since then I have tried to help some of the homeless I was around at the time but unfortunately it didn't work out they were to lazy or spaced out to really care. Everyone has a sad story or excuses but it all comes down to sink or swim.
Amen buddy. I've been homeless in the past & not all but a big chunk of the homeless are either drug addicts ( I WAS addicted to pain meds) or alcoholics that don't want to give up partying to get help.
it annoys me people who manage to get out of it and criticize those who stay by saying yes, by force, will, the lazy, the this, the that, blah blah blah...! there are deeper wounds that require more strength than they have and it's not easy for everyone! SHIT
@nate3475 Can't help if they are weak and don't have enough strength or desire to pick themselves up. If they do not want to improve their lives, then they deserve to be homeless. I'm tired of their excuses .
@@RR137G I understand. But how do they get there? It is too sad. And why do they take this shit without seeing what awaits them? it's incredible ! This world is infected and there is nothing we can do. good luck...
All the fancy tech companies down there and yet there's not a person that can come up with affordable housing for low to middle income families? Its not a homeless problem. It's a greed problem.
WTS X I agree! I lived in SF back in the early 80’s and it was crazy expensive to rent back then but now with these tech millionaires it’s obvious that it’s increased the cost of living expediently! Greed and lack of compassion for anyone who is not wealthy!
yes ,i agree, there is so much money in the bay area, marin county,is one the richest counties in the usa, please people, fix this now ,or in 10 years you;ll see a real problem
@@michaelj2091 wrong buddy,,you dont have any idea,if you were on those streets, you would have a crack pipe in your hand, the drugs just make it liveable, yes there;s drugs, bit these people have mental illness and need housing, please dont comment unless you lived it
I just landed in San Fran today and googled this because this is the most homeless I've seen in any city in the states. It's insane. I am one block away from the Hilton and there are blocks of people with tents, sleeping bags, ect on the sidewalks. We need a good solution to this problem. This number of people shouldn't be living like this.
michael guild I live in Los Angeles. The homeless problem is even worse in Los Angeles, San Diego...throughout California. You don’t find homeless illegal alien Hispanics, Latinos, Asians, and Filipinos, on the streets. Why? Well, the Zionist, communist Democrats, along with the Zionist communist Democrats Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein, and Maxine Waters, packed the Welfare offices with Hispanics, Latinos, Asian, and Filipino case workers. Those case workers give the affordable housing, food stamps, housing vouchers, etc., to illegal alien Hispanics, Latinos, Asians, and Filipinos! Also, there are millions of affordable housing units. They are being saved for the millions more illegal aliens that the Democrats plan to help smuggle into the US. There are currently 5 million illegal aliens in Los Angeles, and 15 million throughout California. Also, the schools in California are made up of 80 percent Hispanics, Latinos, Asians, and Filipinos! The California communist politicians Pelosi, Feinstein, and Maxine Waters, are fighting President Trump’s plan to build a Wall. Those three pieces of scum want millions more illegal aliens to invade California. They want that illegal alien vote. They are also making profits on the legalization of child prostitution in California. Communist governor Jerry Brown signed SB1322, legalizing child prostitution for infants to 18 years old! Those three pieces of trash keep getting back in office through voter fraud, the Zionist communist media promoting them, and because Californians feel like they cannot run a successful campaign against them. That being the case, it will take God’s intervention to remove those three from office! Note: Maxine Waters has helped illegal alien Mexicans to take over her Congressional District. There are now 20,000 homeless African Americans living on Skid Row with their children! See the link below. achieve.lausd.net/site/handlers/filedownload.ashx?moduleinstanceid=47248&dataid=68431&FileName=Fingertip%20Facts2018-19_EnglishFinalDS.pdf
Yup I am from Antioch CA I became homeless in 2014 I would never change this situation I am in not now been in the streets 8 years I am clean and what I mean is this I clean up after myself there is absolutely no reason for anyone to disregard and disrespect your town or city with garbage and trash somewhere and someone I don't know who started this attitude of fuck the police and government and let's trash our towns and city's with filth and drugs it is disgusting and evil and unhealthy makes me sick
Stpetersburg fl is really bad with homeless people! But most of them are junkies! How can you help them. I'm on the streets homeless with 18 animals..... We are fine for now.
I have 27 dogs with me living on the streets! I have no problems right now..... I just wish the cops would stop harassing me....me and my animals are doing well for now..... Homelessness is what you make it.
Johnny Evans notice these assholes who talk about America first never have any criticism for Israel. They are getting billions in tax payers funds. No homeless there. But nah! Blame immigrants because stupidity and the inability to see government is the issue. Trillions spent on military. Trillions! No threat, only imperialist threats and proxy wars for foreign entities. America first? Fuck outta here!
Desean Gibir maybe the reason why we don't have threats is because we have a strong military. We spend more on welfare, big government and silly programs than giving money to Israel. We can give 1 billion is Cali tomorrow and the democrats will waste it on gender natural studies and pride month.
I was homeless once, 18 months in the woods. Friends wanted me to stay with them, not happening. Had my GUN, FISHING rod, good to go. Others wanted me to go to a shelter, nope. Those down & out are vulnerable to doing stuff they wouldn't normally do, drugs, quick buck, doing something they normally wouldn't ever do. So I stayed away from such. Been under this roof for 16 going on 17 years now. & you know, sometimes I feel that when I was out there, I was truly able to live, instead of existing just to keep the bills payed. When I was out in the woods, sleep in get up make some food. Tend the garden, hunt, head to the stream, fill up bottles with water, maybe fish, forage for nuts & berries, on way back to camp. Enjoy what's left of the day. Now times, wake up get ready for work

Was in San Francisco yesterday for a Giants baseball game. People were layed out on the sidewalk. Couldn't tell if they were dead or just sleeping. So very sad.😢
You are so right, shame on USA ! Homeless children, you Will never see this in our country Denmark🇩🇰 Children have right to have own room, Education , and hapiness😣
If it were merely due to housing costs in the Bay area, they would simply "move" to some other area of California. Taxes play a HUGE part in why most end up homeless. When a state collects a whopping 50%+ in taxes of one for or another, especially on businesses, it's almost impossible for someone in the middle class to EVER own a home (unless they qualify for Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac, yes, they're back at it again, big time. An employer can barely make enough money to pay the myriad of taxes, mandated employee healthcare, actual production costs, marketing, payroll, rent for a store front or warehouse, etc. Businesses can't afford to pay higher wages much less hire more employees when their overhead comes dangerously close to wiping out their entire profit margin every single month. Consumers are only going to pay so much for any product so business owners can't necessarily raise prices. Raising prices on products just makes it harder for people to buy a product which spells fewer sales which believe it or not, is actually worse on a small business. Then there's the issue with the mental health crisis in the US & make no mistake it is a crisis. Since the abolishment of mental institutions, there have been millions of people who had to all of the sudden learn to fend for themselves overnight, particularly those without family. They couldn't come up with enough money for 1st & last months rent plus security deposit and utilities deposits. What the heck did ppl think they were going to do with no or few job skills, no jobs, no savings, etc when those places were shut down because they were deemed a violation of rights or inhumane or whatever other reasons they came up with for shutting them all down. How were these people supposed to be able to even go to a doctor much less paying for their medication that used to be mandatory when locked up & now all of the sudden those meds, due to cost as well as new found freedom, became optional? A great many of the mentally ill ppl are fully functional as long as they are taking their meds but are nowhere close to functional without them Then there's the drug addicts & I'm not talking about the ones that smoke pot, I'm talking about the true drug addicts that are dependent on methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, etc. They will live in any manner of squalor in order to pay for their drugs. If it comes down to a choice of paying rent or buying their dope, the dope will win every time! Methadone clinics merely trade one addictive drug for another. Methadone is as addictive as cocaine & heroin but a lot harder to kick, it takes most ppl at least 5yrs to get off of permanently. Last but not least on MY list of why there's such a HUGE amount of homelessness in CA in general is the burden of ILLEGAL immigrants. They come here with absolutely nothing other than their children - no job, no money, no place to live, little to no healthcare previous to getting here so a great many need immediate healthcare, don't have any insurance because they have no job, no address and no money. That leaves taxpayers to foot the bill, literally. They have overwhelmed not only the healthcare industry in CA but also the school systems in virtually every district so more schools need to be built, furnished and staffed..all paid for by the taxpayers of CA. I don't believe for a second that homeless ppl are necessarily lazy. It takes a good deal of energy to hustle up money for food or drugs or alcohol or any combination of the three. Not to mention they have to be constantly "moving" as they get run off from various locations for various reasons. They have to keep their stuff with them at all times or they will be stolen, they often times have to physically fight for a spot &/or what few possessions they do have. Put all of that together & it spells anything but lazy. So here is the partial list of reasons why there are so many homeless in CA period, imho: 1) HIGH taxation on individuals but particularly small business owners 2) Too few jobs due to reason #1 3) Mental illness 4) Drug addiction 5) ILLEGAL immigration California spends SO much money on social welfare problems, arguably ineffectually but still, that it doesn't shock me that the entire state is on the verge of filing bankruptcy! If states were ppl, CA would be homeless. When the representative of a VERY poor district lives in a 6,000 Sq ft, $4.5 million home in a different district, it doesn't surprise me that there are so many homeless. It dismays me, it breaks my heart to see their standard of living but it doesn't shock me. What does shock me is that Representative I was speaking about - Maxine Waters btw. I saw a video about her district which showed people lined up along the walls of a bus station or a subway maybe, never been there so I don't know what types of public transportation they have, cooking up drugs to shoot them into their veins, actually shooting up, passed out, with the needle still stuck in them in one instance, rolling joints or just plain sleeping. The huge piles of garbage on every corner, trash all over the streets, "tent cities" everywhere, etc & that was in Maxine Waters' district! The woman who professes to be the champion of the downtrodden, the lower class, peoples of color, etc. Seems to me she only claims to care about these people & their problems when there's an election on the horizon. She's too good to even live near them! She admittedly said that she lives in a segregated community that has a max black population of 6%!! Bottom line, there's a HUGE problem with homelessness in the Bay area as well as a problem with the homeless themselves who poop in the middle of sidewalks constantly (but you'd better pick up your dog's poop or you'll be fined!), leaving drug needles ALL over, etc. Higher taxation is NOT the answer, socialization is NOT the answer. In fact, there is no "one" answer just there is no one reason why they are homeless. Betcha a few less million illegal immigrants would be a HUGE benefit to the plight of the homeless. There would be many more low skilled jobs available. There would be a great deal more public housing available too. Yet that alone won't solve all of the problems but it would be one hell of a start! Lowering taxes would all but take care of the remainder of problems because people might would stop leaving CA, businesses might stay but instead businesses can't move out of CA fast enough and neither can the people. I know of one family, extended members included, that ALL left CA. three members owned their own businesses & were very busy but no matter how many customers they had, they just couldn't get anywhere due to the taxation. There was 3 generations of them living in a 1500 sq ft home on a 1/4 acre lot. Everyone but the baby worked, they worked opposite shifts so daycare wasn't yet another bill to pay, yet couldn't get anywhere. I know of 23 ppl that have left CA in the past 6 or 7 years, NOT including that family of 13! The list of reasons I made was a partial list they all stated for being why they left. Education was another, perhaps the biggest reason for several of then who stated that the school systems cater to illegals who can't speak English & hold up the entire class as well as poor curriculum (which has the US as a whole ranked 18th in the world despite being #1 in educational spending in the world so it's not because we aren't spending enough!!!), not enough books (many said their kids books should've been in a landfill due to their condition), too much time spent teaching about alternative lifestyles, racism, sexism, sex, political correctness, etc & very little time spent teaching the "Three R's". Maybe if the so-called representation of the taxpayers would actually listen to them ALL rather than just the leftists, maybe, just maybe CA would stop hemorrhaging businesses & tax paying citizens. If those two groups were to be made able to stay, maybe a good deal of the homelessness would take care of itself...heck, there's as much filming going on in Georgia these days as there is in CA! If the entertainment industry were to pull up roots & leave, most of CA would completely go down the toilet.
And we send money to Israel who has universal healthcare for their citizens, make that make sense and stupid a$$ people over here saying we can't afford it yet we support all these wars. Billions and billions have been spent on pointless wars since Korea, Vietnam ECT.
Hollywood needs them so they can bitch at the Republican party even though California shit hole is ran by liberals Nazi Nancy Pelosi said when we run out of food we can eat the homeless
I live in one...it's a refuge for the working poor and the poor...It's not in SF, it's in the Sierra Mts...and let me tell you the piece of shit I'm in is a DUMP. I'm having to share housing even with my sister who bought a junk trailer. I'm from the Monterey Bay and did have a home; a nice life. Domestic Treachery put me out (I'm 69) and took everything I ever owned for the last THIRTY YEARS.. Shit can happen to anyone and regardless of where they're from. Calif is bad but homelessness and lack of work, lack of care about real estate prices and human life is NATIONAL
I am so grateful i finally have stable housing. I was homeless living in my car.. I stayed out in the streets sometimes and was in shelters . It is hard to find housing but there is hope.. I found a really good place that i can afford ..
@Prairiedoggen unfortunately common sense is not so common. Too bad so many Americans still think in just simplistic binary terms Liberals vs conservatives and this has stifled us from creating real solutions
Back in 2008 banks got 50 bln bailout from peoples money. That could pay out for 250 000 homes back in 2008. Army shoots 500 000 usd missile against Toyota truck filled with talibs. That's 2 homes for 1 pickup. Fuck sake, give me that money and I buy a gun, go on the ground and destroy those matafakas that require a whole missile to die.
Huge amounts of money from China buying up property, sending the cost of housing into the stratosphere is one of the issues. I'm not sure what the solution is, but that is just a reality. I didn't see it mentioned here, so I figure I'd add something that's just a fact that most seem to be ignoring.
I remember that starting in the 70's. My mom called it smart business. I wish I had done the same thing. The place (duplex) we grew up in a small 2 bedroom flat - sold for over 1.3 million dollars. For 750 square feet!
This was filmed in 2017 it's 2019 & nothing has been done except for it's worse now than ever. They could put people to work building their own low income housing. If they are willing to take drug test & show they are trying. Something is better than nothing!
If you think about it, drug addiction creates the worst problems. Permanent, secure, stable housing is the first step for all homeless people, individuals and families. Maybe rehab groups can build tiny house communities with people who understand addiction living in the same small community space to help with the process of changing. It takes years to begin to get "normal" without drugs and then build a new life. Most programs want addicts to heal and become a model citizen in 30-90 days. It's an unrealistic expectation... which helps with funding, but not the real problems.
@@work2gather yes it does. I quit drinking & smoking a few years back. Excepted the Lord back into my life & I don't hang out with friends or anything because it's different now
I was in the same position for most my younger years. I managed to get work and sort my situation out. I was very lucky, I wish I had the power to help. This is a growing problem that needs the worlds attention fast. The other problem is a lot of these people dont want help or to help themselves. Its hard to know what to do.
The average of a one bedroom apartment in San Francisco is $4,250 a month. With those high prices, you can not find them housing in San Francisco with income from Social Services.
Who ever came up with charging people all these money, to rent a place to live, they will pay to, most people don't have that kind of money, so they will be homeless to when know one can afford this
Nobody can afford that. I grew up in Marin ...i left in my 20s half the people I went to school with left the ones that stayed either inherited a home or have a very good job. 4000 $ for an apt. That's insane. In Houston u could rent 3 houses and have a bitchin party at each house every night for a month and still have money left for breakfast.
The banks created this nightmare for people, the government came to the banks rescue, yet people continue to suffer. Where is the justice or humanity???
@Grey Line Exactly why the new homeless will be coming straight from being current "homeowners" to 👉 homeless. "Covid-19" has placed moritorium on rental evictions, but not on foreclosures. 14,000 foreclosures a week in the U.S. 😟
Sure because Republican cities are perfect. Americans have been brainwashed into this , y‘all had plenty republicans in leadership, the richest country in the world and yet nobody takes the time to establish a tiered support system. A thousand millionaires and a hundred thousand homeless
I’m watching this 5 years later and the problem is far worse now. The Sausalito live aboard evictions is the perfect example of the politicians only serving the rich while the majority is left out in the cold, both literally and figuratively.
The problem is the huge increases in housing prices! It’s pushing out the lower middle class to the streets. Lower rent and build more affordable housing!
The real powers that be do not want local government to help them in any significant way. They will let them go with a few marginal humanitarian efforts. They also do not want low income housing areas developed as this makes it harder for rental units to be rented for excessive amounts. It is a question of profit maximization under our sacred capitalistic system.
The family at 13:23 could make it in another state were the $ goes much further and work and housing are easily in reach. Good grief people, get a bus ticket and get the hell out of that expensive hell hole.
Theres a saying: " There but for the Grace of God go I." I think that as I watch this. I've seen some hard times, we ( everyone) just do the best we can & pray we make it to better times.
I always think that too. If everyone had the ability to imagine these things could happen to them there may be a remedy. All it's takes is one serious illness, even if you have insurance, if you lose a couple of paychecks your world can fall apart.
I lost my job, then I in a hit-and-run accident which left my car totaled, and now I have been homeless since August 16th. All I need is a car and I go back to driving for Uber again. It can take a few steps or just one to be homeless. Yes, it can happen to anyone. Be grateful of the things you have.
Yes it is about greed. Just wait until the rent gets so high nobody can afford to live in those lousy, built in 1912 shit holes, anymore. In the mean time, camp out in front of those buildings Let me know if you do, I'll join you
I'm Dutch and social welfare is about 1200 Euro's for a family... That family gets 1500 a month in welfare! You should be able to live of 1500 dollars a month! These people should go live somewhere else that's more affordable.

People are so quick to blame the “Greedy” landlords! When the government raises the value of the property, the property tax also goes up! This increase is passed on to the consumer/tenant, just like when the gas prices from the supplier goes up, the retailer passes the increase on to the buyers All costs associated with owning the property affect the rent rate.
What was it like to grow up there tho So magical but now saddens me. I once drove there from and saw this huge Dinosaur in Cabazon California. It felt great to make it there once.

I am homeless and I work every day of the week. I earn $14.25 an hour and it's still not enough. I do not do drug's I do not drink alcohol and I stay clean. I live in a car that I bought because I couldn't find a home for rent because my husband is a felon no one will rent to us. His felony isn't a violent felony but the only thing people hear when you say felony is (FELON). We are both working and trying hard to get off the streets. We had a home and our landlord sold the house from under us 28 day's after we signed a lease. We are fighting to get off the streets and will never give up.
It doesn't appear there's much Generosity going around!! Mayor/Governor need to put Cap's on Rent!! 4800.00 for a CRAPPY 2 bedroom apartment??!! That's frikkin insane!!!
They put caps on rent, no one will own rentals. So they turn into government housing and look at government housing around the country, dangerous not kept up. The answer is better planning, better politicians, your politicians are making billions on your homeless, setting up businesses owned by the same politicians their family and friends, to help clean up after these homeless aka most drug addicts, mental illness. You don't fix drug problems by giving them drugs and safe places to do them. They are doing nothing to help, they are actually making the problem worse. When I decided to go homeless I went to the woods. I volunteered at a catholic soup kitchen and got everything I needed from that kitchen. I lived very good out there and showered at the church. That luxury isn't available for everyone but let me say this that position that I got at the church was open until I got there and nobody tried to fill it till I got there. But I lived great in a large tent I had vegetables, fruit, bacon, eggs anything I wanted. I lived next to the river and would wash clothes or just hang out when it was hot . I could see the busy freeway from where I was at and remember thinking about all those people going coming from work or daycare from one boss to another. The bullshit of society drove me to leave society. But I'm back since I learned my father was dying. So I came back to be with him and my grown children convinced me to stay so here I am.
The one couple that received $1500 a month would actually do decent in VA. In my area rent averages 700, 3 bedrooms with decent amount of land sometimes. They needed some fixing, but I've seen houses for 25-30k. Lot of decent houses for around 70-100k. For the ones that dont have disabilities and can work need to move.
You're smart. I get it sucks having to move, but the reality is the reality! People insist on living in the most expensive, desirable cities and then they complain that they can't afford it. Move. Move away. A bus ticket is $50 and I can personally show them businesses in my area that are desperate for help. Hell, even McDonald's pays between $16 - $18/hr here, no joke. A 6 figure job is EASY to come by here. Oil companies here are literally begging for help.
Swag 23 it’s been decades in the making and both parties are at fault. This is only one state out of the 25 or so that are usually run by democrats. Most states in the Midwest and southwest and northeast dont have this problem. NY and MA and the rest of the east coast make it a point to house the homeless so I’d say it’s more of a California issue than a Democrat issue
@Christian Rehtorik California has the sixth largest economy in the world. Florida and Texas and other red states are subsidized the by the blue state tax payers. Get a fucking clue.
I was homeless because I was on drugs and almost all of the homeless people like me were on drugs and alcohol or by choice. It's their fault because somewhere in their lives they made the wrong choice. Don't blame society for your mistakes.
Its all because of GREEDY CORRUPT CITY COUNCIL ANFD COUNTY SUPERVISORS who refuse to allow affordable housing to be built because they are taking BRIBES from developers like in LA you can guarentee find thats EXACTLY WHO TO BLAME IN EVERY CITY IN THIS STATE
Also watch the fight for the soul of Seattle. It's a very good documentary on not just Seattle but all liberal run cities. This is where that friend of mine takes you. To depression, due to Despair, and to death.
Democrats are doing away with the middle class-----if u don't raise your finances before it is done this will happen to you under Democratic law----voting for freedom would be a huge help to these people and yourselves
Middle class has not existed for about 30 years now. The new future is the super rich 1% followed by everyone else living paycheck to paycheck or homeless. My parents and grandparents were able to buy houses on low skilled jobs that did not even require HS while raising 3+ kids and going on at least 1 vacation a year.
This is crazzzzy! I was one of these people "after never knowing anything about homelessness at all" .... Now Life is Back to resembling what it almost used to be back in Chicago!!!! I made it out ALIVE!!! Unbelievable to say the least!
Gin B I agree. I lived homeless in San Francisco for almost a year looking for one of those well paying jobs in construction ( which is difficult to obtain if you're not from the city) and it was one of the most mentally trying times in my life so I moved back to Ohio where it's much more affordable and since I've been back more higher paying jobs have opened up. I felt completely lost in that city because I've never been exposed to soo much mental illness and social economic division between people that it almost made me feel ashamed to be a human being. Beautiful city with some OK people there but it was like everyone I met had some type of personal agenda which made it that much worse because I couldn't truly trust anyone and most of the people there act so cutthroat that genuine kindness will get preyed upon and the police and transit cops treat people like less than garbage but I'm thankful that I at least got out of there with no harm done to me physically and my life was spared but the longer I stayed there the further I felt myself slipping into the cliched role of a homeless person which is what I think the city wanted me to be. I will never go back there in the way I had to the last time because it's just not the type of city that a regular person without a degree can pull themselves up out of poverty and difficult times and that's a shame because I used to think that SF was one of the more enlightened places to stay in the U.S. but there's a lot of good people there but their the true minority
theyliedandyouwouldbeafooltobelieveit Have you ever read the book "Pursue to happiness?" That african american gentleman did not have a high degree in school either and he suffer a lot, his wife left him with his son...mean woman. Thanks God he was in the army and used his brain to pull out himself from that sad life, he went to school and now he works in Wall Street. He is helping homeless people in San Francisco. I wish you the best in life.
theyliedandyouwouldbeafooltobelieveit You are welcome, when I was homeless I went to the library to read and you get ideas in how you can survive, now if you have a house thank God (sorry I do not know if you believe in God so do not get offended) value and treasure everything you have now. There are ways to cook in the open and many american do not know, watch some village cooking videos from vietnam, india and other poor countries, if homeless put together some food you can cook some big pot full of soup and share, homeless can ask to people for water, always Carr two buckets of water and take a shower in hiding. Take care my fellow human. ☺
Nicoletta Ciccone thanks. I'm not officially homeless right now, but I will be again soon. The lifestyle you just described sounds more like the nomad life, and I'm just trying to have a normal life. But most information is good information so I thank you for caring, but I'm not quite at the point where I can financially disappear from society completely.
Choi Sha that's trumpturd talk. There are homeless because housing costs so much more in California. And why is that? Because of demand and supply. So many people want to live in California that we can't keep up. Look ate shithole states of Midwest and south, no one wants to live there even though they are dirt cheap.
Moonbeam himself. It's ironic, he used to be a laughing stock because of his weird, goofy, ways. They used to have sketches on SNL and other shows. He was known as the worst Governor in Cal history in the 1970's. Now these young fools that have no idea about history of they're own state VOTED FOR HIM AGAIN!! Big X, ABSO-FRICKIN-LUTELY!! I have watched a video of this man in LA who makes tiny homes for homeless people FOR FREE, the city make him haul them off; a few days after, one of lady DIED, partly for the exposure, partly I'm sure from broken heart of losing her tiny home!!!!!!!!
Erato IsYourMuse, Sadly that's true! I know that every day we're getting closer to the Traitorous, Treacherous, Treasonous Rats being held accountable!!!!
Big X Too easy. The land is too valuable and nobody wants it in their neighborhood. They also stated who will pay for the plumbing. Government creates laws that almost prohibit doing for self, then can’t live up to their own standards.
If you look back at many of these people you will find financial irresponsibility, "I deserve a holiday"... "I deserve a new car" instead of advance paying their home loan!
For a portion of the homeless, use an unused office building for conversion to living spaces. Individual cubicles for private spaces of separate living quarters. Have social services visiting and inspectors to make the people to keep the place clean and orderly. Hire people to maintain cleaning for those who are disabled and cant clean for themselves. Its a job creator. Have one location in the building where meals are served, time scheduled for the meal (s). And no cooking anywhere else in the units, if fire risk is noted.
It's getting worse in NY. 3.5k+ in the city. On the island looking at around 2.5k+. I cant imagine trying to figure out how to pay 4.8k. You would have to be making 200k a year otherwise your looking at more than half your paycheck in rent. Ridiculous. Then we wonder why theres so many homeless.
True. But a lot of people also work back breaking jobs and get paid barely enough to survive while their bodies are taking a beating. The pressure is immense on low income people to make a living on $13 dollars an hour. Not even $15 dollars an hour cuts it. A lot of people reach a breaking point, they just give up. Why keep busting your ass day in and day out to come up short every month and never able to save any money? At one point people just say fuck it!
35 years ago I visited my brother in San Francisco. He live with a Roomate in a one bedroom apartment in Oakland right off the freeway. He & his roommate both had good jobs but could not afford to live in San Francisco at that time. He ended up moving out of the area to buy a home. It was bad then I can only imagine how it is now.

Why can't they move to a town they can aford ti be in? I can't aford my home town. I've relocated so many times in life. Why would anyone pay $4000 to live surrounded by the disease and garbage?

The longer we leave homeless people homeless the harder it is for the homeless to reenter society and be productive.

Liberal states are hurting, others are thriving..

pick up a penny when you see one
stay out of restaurants
make you own coffee
buy used then fix it when it breaks/wears out
cut your own grass - don't buy cable for your tv

Elephant In The Room
I doubt that.
The homeless deserve way more than news coverage and his only cover is newspaper..
A system that economically exploit and oppress the vast majority of Americans cares nothing about Americans..
People are spending their last dollars to move to California for the homeless benefits. So what do you think the problem is?????
@Matt Frazier Now you know that is not true.
One word Democrats
Homeless benefits are an area that allows them to set up tents, without rent. Homeless benefits are a place to go to eat free food, and a restroom to use for personal hygiene, and elimination. These are the benefits they seek.
So with this homeless issue why is AOC pressing for a raise?
BECAUSE of SHE HEARTLESS SOCIALIST GREEDY BUFFOON
Because she's a evil btch!
I was homeless for 10-years slept on the bridge for 2 years I believe that everyone who desires to get out from under that situation can do so if they want to in the ones who don't want to is right where they want to be but pray for the ones you want to change that lifestyle
Change what lifestyle????? Disabities don't go away just cuz yr heless. Sheesh... Not rocket science....
It really makes you think about your situation and appreciate where you are
Got to where I am by living responsibly, getting an education, serving my country and not becoming a perennial fucking parasite, drug addict and alcoholic.

The old Alameda Naval air station in the City of Alameda should open up all of the housing units for these people.
Homeless because housing cost are ridiculous in bay area ..
Exactly
Homeless/displaced behind DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Silver Chopsticks many of these ppl do work, pay attention!
A great many of the mentally ill ppl are fully functional as long as they are taking their meds but are nowhere close to functional without them
Then there's the drug addicts & I'm not talking about the ones that smoke pot, I'm talking about the true drug addicts that are dependent on methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, etc.
So here is the partial list of reasons why there are so many homeless in CA period, imho:
1) HIGH taxation on individuals but particularly small business owners
2) Too few jobs due to reason #1
3) Mental illness
4) Drug addiction
5) ILLEGAL immigration
California spends SO much money on social welfare problems, arguably ineffectually but still, that it doesn't shock me that the entire state is on the verge of filing bankruptcy!

Huge amounts of money from China buying up property, sending the cost of housing into the stratosphere is one of the issues. I'm not sure what the solution is, but that is just a reality. I didn't see it mentioned here, so I figure I'd add something that's just a fact that most seem to be ignoring.
That is untrue.....supply and demand is what sets the pricing for housing.
I remember that starting in the 70's. My mom called it smart business. I wish I had done the same thing. The place (duplex) we grew up in a small 2 bedroom flat - sold for over 1.3 million dollars. For 750 square feet!
No one wants to give up their houses in the avenues :) They are kept in the families for generations.

Thats a good idea.

That a solution except for mentally sick.
The real powers that be do not want local government to help them in any significant way. They will let them go with a few marginal humanitarian efforts. They also do not want low income housing areas developed as this makes it harder for rental units to be rented for excessive amounts. It is a question of profit maximization under our sacred capitalistic system.
So u want communism

I have had social and general anxiety disorder my entire life. It is really tough sometimes, but not an excuse to not work.
Nothing wrong with your state? Guess you didn’t watch the video...
I dont understand that either. Why stay in these cities? Move to more affordable area. Get past trying to stay in these popular tourist areas.
Theres a saying:
" There but for the Grace of God go I."
I think that as I watch this. I've seen some hard times, we ( everyone) just do the best we can & pray we make it to better times.
That was beautiful! Hope you and your family are doing good!!!
My QUESTION is why the rent in San Francisco is 4000 dollars a month when so many people are homeless it all about greed
COMMIECRAT DOMAIN.
Tammy Gordon ...rentiers were hung once when half the population were stressed..but bigger unionized goons took that freedom from the winning put upon forced goon who dièď later in waŕ of gooñs paid for by thè goon bànk...revisionist economic political history
People are so quick to blame the “Greedy” landlords! When the government raises the value of the property, the property tax also goes up! This increase is passed on to the consumer/tenant, just like when the gas prices from the supplier goes up, the retailer passes the increase on to the buyers
All costs associated with owning the property affect the rent rate.
"We all live in the same water, not the same boat" is the most eloquent thing I've heard recently.
I left California twenty years ago, and I haven't looked back.
This was really too sad to watch.
What was it like to grow up there tho
So magical but now saddens me.
I once drove there from and saw this huge Dinosaur in Cabazon California.
It felt great to make it there once.
voting republican i hope cause i think alot of americans are scared of ppl who are ex californians moving to nice areas then voting democrats and destroying yet another area
sorry

Anthony Oodie, agree with you!
civil war is coming
Praying for the Homeless, especially City leaders,so they can help them🙏🙏
I am homeless and I work every day of the week.
I truly hope things got better for you guys ❤️❤️
Build tiny homes and let them stay for free. Gentrification pushed the price of homes up to astronomical levels.
Solutions is making them to Detroit or East st Louis.
It doesn't appear there's much Generosity going around!!
Mayor/Governor need to put Cap's on Rent!! 4800.00 for a CRAPPY 2 bedroom apartment??!! That's frikkin insane!!!
*"Spend upwards - fuck the poor.*
That's the mantra in the pos DNC.
Wake up get these damn leftists out of office and vote in people that will help you
@@MsVickieharrison *Every premise* you state as fact can't even make it past *my DOG'S* bullshit detector.
Yea corporations have taken $21,000,000,000,000 OUT OF TAXPAYER-GOVT hands in just the last 18 yrs!😡
Look how right wing fucks destroy the USPS so they can fucking privatize what they've sabotaged!
They have high rent so they dont have low class people in there area
or at least allow construction of more high rises. I mean its basic. a 1000 unit high rise would pull in 144 million at $400/month over the next 30 years easy
Never look down on someone, unless you are helping them up.
So I came back to be with him and my grown children convinced me to stay so here I am.
i william i just wanted to say hi to you from australia x
I used to live in Sunnyvale. When prices got crazy, I moved to VA.
This is what a Democrat run state looks like enjoy California!
Awww hope you don't vote there champ
Swag 23 it’s been decades in the making and both parties are at fault. This is only one state out of the 25 or so that are usually run by democrats. Most states in the Midwest and southwest and northeast dont have this problem. NY and MA and the rest of the east coast make it a point to house the homeless so I’d say it’s more of a California issue than a Democrat issue
@Christian Rehtorik California has the sixth largest economy in the world. Florida and Texas and other red states are subsidized the by the blue state tax payers. Get a fucking clue.
How come no one cares about the homeless U.S. children?
Evrybody knows California is the forth biggest economi in the world. Get enlightend.
I was homeless because I was on drugs and almost all of the homeless people like me were on drugs and alcohol or by choice. It's their fault because somewhere in their lives they made the wrong choice. Don't blame society for your mistakes.
Why does it take 2 people to go out to work to buy a decent home. It only use to take one? Why?
Watch Settle is dying. This is happening to California too
this is still CA, San Bernardino is fucked too. all cali
Its all because of GREEDY CORRUPT CITY COUNCIL ANFD COUNTY SUPERVISORS who refuse to allow affordable housing to be built because they are taking BRIBES from developers like in LA you can guarentee find thats EXACTLY WHO TO BLAME IN EVERY CITY IN THIS STATE
Part of a larger series: West Coast Death Watch.
Also watch the fight for the soul of Seattle. It's a very good documentary on not just Seattle but all liberal run cities. This is where that friend of mine takes you. To depression, due to Despair, and to death.
Seattle is dying
You can not tell me that apartments can be build for these based on income
Go to Nancy p and live on her front yard
Oh she has a wall around her house
truly grateful to have food, clothes & shelter. i am, nonetheless a few bad choices away from ruin by those of others or of my own doing-
This crisis reflects badly on each and every citizen of that city for not keeping watch on their government.
By the way middle class people are now living day to day...thought you should know..
Everyone lives day to day, dead people don't.
Middle class is the new poor
If that's the case they were NEVER middle class.
Nicoletta Ciccone that was a GREAT book. Thanks and I hope for the best for you and yours!
theyliedandyouwouldbeafooltobelieveit You are welcome, when I was homeless I went to the library to read and you get ideas in how you can survive, now if you have a house thank God (sorry I do not know if you believe in God so do not get offended) value and treasure everything you have now.
Good report, hope the right people see this!!!!!
Who is responsible for California HOMELESS ...
ITS the Democrat Congressmen and Jerry Brown ...in California ...!!
They deserve everything they get.If I had told someone 20 years ago he would be governor again, no one would believe me.
BETTER KNOWN AS THE WILLIE BROWN DEMOCRAT MACHINE..........
WAIT!!!! It isn't the fault of the Republicans? Oh that's right, Democrats RUN THE FUCKING STATE!
VISIT THE BAY AREA AND YOU WILL SEE ALL THE TENTS ON THE SIDEWALKS, UNDER OVERPASSES, AND JUST ABOUT EVERYWHERE, ITS SO BAD THAT EVEN THE NEWS FINALLY REPORTED ON IT, SO STAY STUCK ON STUPID, AND RIDING THE SHORT BUS, EVERYONE SEES WHAT YOUR CLOSED EYES REFUSES TO SEE.
There are truck loads of shipping containers from China that can be used as housing units.
Exactly Right.
Might as well make some use of China considering many of your corrupt business moguls sent most of your jobs out there.
Erato IsYourMuse, Sadly that's true! I know that every day we're getting closer to the Traitorous, Treacherous, Treasonous Rats being held accountable!!!!

Too easy.
"Home loan"
Your only point of reference being so privileged only serves to prove intelligence isn't a even remotely a requirement for said privilege.

$4,800 for apt??!! In Seattle, mayors tell police don't do anything, release thieves next day etc. Police are quitting.
It will become lawless...
A good person who's down on their luck is different from someone who's on drugs. Let's make it clear. Get out of California would be a good start
only pussies run
@@69NOMAN69 Nope those pussies are to poor to run now.
The homeless should move out of California?
You have to have money to do that, or you'll be homeless where you move to. Some people are stuck where they live.
35 years ago I visited my brother in San Francisco. He live with a Roomate in a one bedroom apartment in Oakland right off the freeway. He & his roommate both had good jobs but could not afford to live in San Francisco at that time. He ended up moving out of the area to buy a home. It was bad then I can only imagine how it is now.
you look gorgeous and you smile is so beautiful please always wear that smile your face
they are camping anywhere they want. Free RENT is what they are looking for. Free water, free wifi, free power- free food..And now there are over 1 million of Homeless Americans in the whole USA..
Moving the F out of CA would be a start!
Max's Cognac Review
Exactly!!!
Warm weather, NY state is a freezer most of the year so that location is out
Max's Brandy Review illegals get a $1000 bet card and a plane ticket... nothing for Americans homeless😡😡😡😡😡
they dont want to do that...then they would have to find a job and work like the rest of us..it mostly isn't a homeless problem its like Seattle its a drug problem
Or moving to a another town in cali that is cheaper. Its larger then anyone has seen. Majority are addicts..
Why can't they move to a town they can aford ti be in? I can't aford my home town. I've relocated so many times in life. Why would anyone pay $4000 to live surrounded by the disease and garbage?
Ihate Google If they are already having trouble just struggling to survive from day to day then coming up with the cash to move might as well be a scene from a fantasy or science fiction movie. That's what I've been going through in Texas where I have a state job and have been trying for a few years to move to the state where my son lives.
The results of democrat policies
It is actually not just the bay area here in Utah in every state that’s a country crisis in my opinion and I am always one step away myself
props for making this series. homelessness is a huge problem facing our community and country!
Yeah, but the reporter really FAILED to cover the story in a way that offered the people he interviewed much dignity...
