New Player vs Rajang - Monster Hunter: World Iceborne (Bow)

New player to Monster Hunter Iceborne series takes on Rajang.
This monkey monster moves too much!!! I'm surprised I did not faint once on my first try.
If you do want to know, here's the build I used.

A few for Rajang in Iceborne
He's fast but has absolute terrible tracking on his attacks, most of his attacks can be dodged by walking to the side.
His belly flop and beam attacks are good opening. (especially the beam attack is a idiot proof opening by how easy its to dodge and how long this attack is).
Temporal Mantle and Rocksteady Mantle are also really good for this fight (and also for every other in Iceborne). Because Temporal Mantle makes your hunter auto dodge attacks and Rocksteady removes all damage reactions from your hunter and also gives you earplugs, both Mantles also make it harder for Monsters to throw you off when you clutch claw on to them, but be aware Rajang can still grab you when you cluch on him.

First time fighting him yesterday as well. I use sa, friends use sns and bow. It was brutal, and his armor is pretty ugly imo

Iirc it has good skills, his weapons are some of the best thunder weapons, and the palico armor is neat

Moves around too much. Didn't really like Rajan gear that much. I'm surprised I had no problems on my first try but was a bit annoying.

Me too, I prefer the armor set for Furious Rajang
