    I’d recommend the tangle teaser or detangling brush over the comb/pick combo king ! It’s so much faster and way easier 👌🏾

    you have the same type of hair as me i'm 4b, i suggest using a curl cream for extra moisture and maybe some jojoba oil, it'll make your curls more defined and it'll retain moisture, usually if you use gel, it'll hold but it'll be dryer

    So I tried this and it was great the first day. When I went to sleep it was very dry and crunchy so I tried to revitalize the curls with a spray bottle and it looked ok. But after that everything has gone sideways after. What can I do?

      That’s the downside with using gel. It’s really only good for one day . I recommend using a styling cream like a curl smoothie

    How do you make it last an entire week? How does your hair look good after sleeping and laying on your head/ hair? What about activity level? Shouldn’t I be washing my hair and head more frequently if I’m working out every day?

      i may be different, but mines honestly looks pretty identical after i do this routine, sleep, and hit it with a LITTLE bit of water in the morning. Also, unless your heir starts to itch and stink after a workout it'd probably be fine to not wash

    I just tried getting curls for the first time (first time tryin ANY new hairstyle) and i f’d it up 😂😂
    I have a nappy fro (4c hair type) that’s a decent size and hard to fully detangle so i think that’s what messed it up. I also prolly put waaay too much deep conditioner in there bc it took over an hour to wash it out after heating.
    I can see some curlyness after tryin it the first time but its very little. Hopefully it goes smoother next time, your vids help bro🙏

      Im thinking of getting a high fade like Tarik here because it’ll be easier to section of my hair and detangle it. That step is what im having trouble with, especially when my hair was shorter. The shorter the hair the harder it is to grab it and tie it down

      Shampoo has 2 main purposes: to clean your scalp (get rid of flakes and whatnot) and to remove product and buildup(it’ll breakup those products, gels and creams) so that your hair and scalp are clean

      True, but the steps I showed can also be applied to 4C hair, it won’t look like my personal curl pattern(4A/4B) but it will make your curl pattern more visible.

      You put it in a bun and then put on a bonnet. When you wake up the next morning, take it out of the bun, spray some water, and shake your head. Good as new
