Thanks for sharing! I haven’t had much luck with cooked fruit fillings, so I mainly stick to fresh. But I’ll have to try out your method.

In your “vanilla raspberry cake” recipe…could I substitute a strawberry filling in place of the raspberry filling?
It’s absolutely delicious (thank you!) but a little too tart for me
I love the tip about doing the fruit filling the day before!!! Thank you!

So i am attempting to make a lego cake for my sons upcoming bday. We are not fans of buttercream, he prefers whipped but that won't have the consistency needee for decorating. Have you ever used Ermine, Swiss or Italian? Ive read they each taste similiar to whipped abd hold well. As much as I'd like to make all 3 and try for myself, I'm a widowed mom of 4 and free time is hard to come by. Your advice would mean a lot to me! You have been a true inspiration! I'd love to pay an experienced cake baker to make his cake, but the price is out of my range. Although definitely worth it!

      Hey!!
I have actually made all 3 of those :) I wouldn’t say any of them taste like whipped cream to be honest. What I would do is use a Swiss meringue BC, since it’s good for decorating and very stable, but then fill the cake with whipped cream!

I’m considering doing a biscoff filling for my son’s vanilla birthday cake.. could I just heat biscoff and use it where you put ganache? Also I have to use a dairy free butter for my butter icing do you think it will work just as well if I make sure to beat the butter really fluffy? The dairy free butter I’m using looks and tastes the same as normal butter

I’m guessing you didn’t watch the whole video? 😂 I share how I do my biscoff fillings!!
Dairy free butter will work, but it’s trickier to decorate with. Pick a simpler design if possible! 🫶

@@StillBusyBaking so sorry I watched probably an hours worth of your videos from start to finish and this was the last one. I was so tired and skipped through because I could only see the cooking of the fruit filling and I knew I wasn’t planning on using a fruit filling 😅😅

Also my hand blender(whipping machine) cannot whip butter team at all. Buttercream feels too heavy. I don't eat eggs so cannot make Smbc too. Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you very much reply madam. Appreciate it a lot.

I watched your UA-cam video. Your every video is really awesome. But your channel and your videos expect more views and subs. I analyzed Your UA-cam channel and I found UA-cam video SEO is not done. This is why your video is not going viral and views are not increasing.
