The story of the Statue of Liberty is fascinating! It's mind blowing to think a gift from France and would become our most iconic symbol of America! 🗽
And the symbol of being free

Did anybody else chuckle ever time he said "a heavy load".
Saw a Siemens gas turbine being transported by road down from London towards Bath/West Country. It sticks in my mind. Was on a low load lorry arrangement. But it was damn big. Congrats to those who build power stations, electricity and water infrastructure, without you we are all living in mud.
Those are some big things.
3:26. so what model is this behemoth of a machine, the bagger 288 or 258?
I don't see the gold mine processing plant transported from Salt Lake City, Ut. to Carlin, Nv. in the 1990's. 1.4 million pounds 125 axles. 11 semi tractors. Designed to fit under the overpasses and that is where it would spend the night with traffic taking the exit ramp to go around it.

We use a some of the decommissioned platforms as scientific monitoring stations and fish habitats. The platforms become their own ecosystem over time, so removing them displaces a lot of marine life!

The Sikorsky sky crane can lift that load. Seems like it would be cheaper??
Just build it where you want it and forget the transport all together!! 💡💡💡 Brilliant idea!
Because that's possible
Did he say to transport the space shuttle $200 million dollars or $200 billion dollars? That can’t be true
$200 Million Dollars
What makes you think it's not true? We spend more money on even more dumb things
It always amuses me that nearly all the red multi wheel transport modules are made by the same German company :P That's Europe. UK, USA.
Also, I never realised how UGLY the statue of liberty is!!! :O

At 13:00 you make fun of the tactics of English people for moving a mechanical piece of equipment during the day instead of using your genius idea of moving a fucking rock during the night
