People often complained that the poor facial animations were off putting for such a long game. They recorded lots of new dialogue and it does look and play bettter. It’s only 10 dollars to upgrade. That’s a pretty good deal. I got the game free during the pandemic but never played it. Now I get a better version for cheaper. Many comments I have seen are going to do the upgrade. These Remasters sell, are cheap to do, and don’t take too much time. It’s not greed but common sense. I think people wouldn’t be so annoyed if there were more exclusives coming out.
Honestly i was pissed cause i thought it was gonna be identical but 4k60 for ps5. Instead its an actual upgrade with mocap animations and all. The original had horrible dialogies with stiff and unexpressive characters. Now at least thats fixed. Id rather have had a killzone remaster but oh well.
if somebody would've told me that THIS is how Ubisoft would've went on about making their FIRST Assassin's creed set in feudal Japan 12 ish years ago, I would've never believed that person... What a waste of a great franchise
@@mingo5976 Think they delayed it because they need the game to be better than good. Outlaws was a decent game but the bugs have been meme'd to death. Don't think Ubi want that to happen to another major release, while they are in the midst of a hostile takeover. It's assassin's creed and will sell well regardless but want that trailer didn't looked highly polished.

people need to stop sleeping on Soul Reaver. its a criminally underrated sub franchise of the legacy of Kain series. both games were written and directed by Amy Hennig who is best known for her work on the first 3 uncharted games.

I give it a 7 as well. Lunar remastered is insanely huge for ps1 rpg fans, those games have been locked in ps1 for decades. They spent more time on games than anything else. Some quickfire some they took time but nothing felt like it overstayed its welcome. No live service, battle royale, looter shooter FPS slop. Hopefully Concord was the gut punch Sony needed to stop with past State of Play BS

I've cut waaay back on the number of games I buy each year. At this point, I'm revisiting old favorites too frequently to get invested in new stuff unless it's a top tier game. Ghosts of Yotei is the only new announcement that's catching my attention, and I'm not in a rush for even that.

Joe the PlayStation references in Astro Bot are very cool but even if they were not there the game would still be an incredible 3D platformer. It's pure joy to play it, fun for the sake of fun.

It's actually historically correct... somewhat. Since he talks about a hunter in the trailer. Yotei is in Hokkaido and the Ainu had a majority of female huntresses, also known as Hasinaw-uk-kamuy meaning Goddess(es) of the Hunt.
Astro Bot is like stepping into a time machine and playing the nes as a kid! Devs definitely had fun making this and in turn I had a hell of a time! Give it a chance!

Between the main game and the DLC, we learned just about everything about Jin. There's nothing else to tell. Another game would just be emotionally shallow and would bring nothing to the table. Plus, I'm not really that interested in fighting more Mongols. With Yotei, we get a new main character character to learn about, a new area to explore, and loads of new weapons to try out.
Its Sengoku time now in Yotei , Tsushima was set during the Kamakura period . Something tells me that Atsu is set to take revenge against Damyo lords who betrayed the Ninjas of Iga .

It’s set 100s of years after the original. There were women assassins/swordman in Japan, some hiding and dressing like men to hide themselves. Some were in high political ranks. I think a 7.5-8 for the State of Play. I was expecting nothing interesting and ended up being surprised. It has a little bit of everything and of course, Ghost of Yotei looks really damn good! Plus I like playing as women. So that's a plus for me. Monster Hunter Wilds didn't interest me, but I'm not exactly interested in the series. I haven't been able to get into it from the few times I've played. I'm in the minority and that's okay.

Even though I don't play VR games I really was interested in that claymation one, One of my fav's is ghosts of tsushima, so at the end I love that Sony was going hard and brought out Ghost of Yotei. This was a good state of play.

I'd say it's a 4.5 at most. Half the games are remasters, the PS5 pro really brings down the score for obvious reasons and most of the remaining games require a VR headset which most PlayStation 5 players don't own.

Honestly every official preview has looked bad while all the previews from content creators who have had early access look amazing. Bioware does not know how to market their games. Probably to be expected after so long without releasing one.
All the previews have been extremely positive but keep on hating if it makes you less unhappy I guess.

The people being positive about Dragon Age Veilguard gave glowing reviews to Concord, Star Wars Outlaws and defended Assassin's Creed Shadows' historical credibility, which ended up being Lockley's complete fanfic in which he was referencing his own made wikipedia articles, and is now being investigated by japanese government and the journalists didn't even bother to apologize for sharing falsities and they're doubling down on their lies.

I've cut waaay back on the number of games I buy each year. At this point, I'm revisiting old favorites too frequently to get invested in new stuff unless it's a top tier game. Ghosts of Yotei is the only new announcement that's catching my attention, and I'm not in a rush for even that.

It's actually historically correct... somewhat. Since he talks about a hunter in the trailer. Yotei is in Hokkaido and the Ainu had a majority of female huntresses, also known as Hasinaw-uk-kamuy meaning Goddess(es) of the Hunt.
FromSoft owns Tenchu IP. Sekiro was basically improved Tenchu 3.

Between the main game and the DLC, we learned just about everything about Jin. There's nothing else to tell. Another game would just be emotionally shallow and would bring nothing to the table. Plus, I'm not really that interested in fighting more Mongols.
With Yotei, we get a new main character character to learn about, a new area to explore, and loads of new weapons to try out.
Different place, I believe different time too, it might possible they can make a direct Tsushima sequel, yotei sequel, etc.

I think a 7.5-8 for the State of Play. I was expecting nothing interesting and ended up being surprised. It has a little bit of everything and of course, Ghost of Yotei looks really damn good! Plus I like playing as women. So that's a plus for me.
Monster Hunter Wilds didn't interest me, but I'm not exactly interested in the series. I haven't been able to get into it from the few times I've played. I'm in the minority and that's okay.

GT7, RE8 VR, RE4 Remake, No mans sky, Red matter 2, Vertigo 2. All of these games are insanely quality. Soon we'll have Aces of Thunder, Behemoth, Flatout VR, RoboQuest Vr, Hitman VR and Metro awakening!

Even though I don't play VR games I really was interested in that claymation one, One of my fav's is ghosts of tsushima, so at the end I love that Sony was going hard and brought out Ghost of Yotei. This was a good state of play.

I've resisted trying VR, 'cause I don't want it to spoil my experience with standard games. Archeage, and Ghost of Yotei look promising.
Veilguard's trailer looks awful. Everything is so dark and goofy looking.

I'd say it's a 4.5 at most. Half the games are remasters, the PS5 pro really brings down the score for obvious reasons and most of the remaining games require a VR headset which most PlayStation 5 players don't own.
It's funny how studious are trying to make new IPs but these guys shit on them before even playing them. Then they cry that all games are generic and copy Fortnite or call of duty. Give the new IPs a chance before you say it looks mid etc
