Bruh, tru.dat ... People can be such sh!+ bags! I had this girl ghost me off and on for a while, and I retaliated terribly in return after a little while. I started to realize it was just about taking $$ or favors from me or others I know, sadly and in retrospect: most of the long term relationships(??) were. I've decided that is actually the only thing I'm willing to be available for now, too: business. If she wants to "make $$ with me" she may be able to get my attention (hand-outs from me don't count). The last girl I dated for any duration was the one girl I met in my life that I thought for sure would never pull that sh!+ She liked using me to pay her rent, to steal my cars, as an emotional tampon when others cut her out of their lives for behaviors similar to what she pulled with me... If I'd just been smart enough to listen to my friends and dump her years ago I might not be so jaded about any relationships involving emotional attachment or dependencies of any sort... try wasting 8, then 10 years on "re-wasting-ships." I'm so effing done with relationships (that means flings, too, because it's too risky someone could become attached) and you can't even work jobs with security clearances when you date people like I did... What would your boss do if you worked in a lab or around sensitive materials and the boss found out your gf/bf couldn't keep their mitts off your phone, installed trackers, called up your employers and started calling them "wh*re?" LMFAO! I lost it _all_ along the way, especially any foolish belief that there's anyone out there worth the aggravation of putting time aside to "date," lol! You're definitely okay on your own girl! A-holes out there love to make you think you aren't. I'm _better_ that way. You probably are, too, especially without anyone who doesn't contribute to your being _more_ or better than you are when you're alone.
I only discovered this channel a few months ago but it quickly became my go to place for ASMR content. I think the main reason is the conversational way in which you speak, it's always a ramble but a very coherent one, which makes me feel like I'm listening to a good friend tell me about their day. I think people really underestimate how interesting their lives are, especially since we're all so very different. I hope whatever time you decide to take for yourself is rewarding and meaningful. And never feel obligated to upload, we'll be here when you're ready. The honesty of this content is what makes it worth coming back for.

Like many of us, I'm not a good sleeper and found you about three years ago during an illness that you help me manage each night. All I can "say" is I wish you a happy and more prosperous New Year. My advice for hard times, is that do one thing at a time, and little things, that make you feel better, or what you have liked doing before! I also had to change and uproot my whole life at the end of 2022. It has been for the best, but I had to make many major changes and sacrifices. Now, I'm a stranger in a new town, with a new job, and no family around. I have bought my first house, a new car, and with it a whole new level of stress and excitement. I want to say I'm going to crush 2023, but to be honest I don't know what's going to happen. I do love your videos as they help me to unwind, relax, and think in a calm supportive setting. What a wonderful asmr video, from this Canadians open heart on my sleeve; thank you ever so very much for creating this, opening up your heart and sharing an important part of your life and what you hold near and dear to your heart. The timing of the upload of this video for me was and is so fitting and relatable as I'm currently going through a 10 year relationship transition/break-up. I agree and also believe that everything, good and bad, just everything happens for a reason as coincidences can only go so far and explain so much in our lives - and those reasons eventually reveal themselves in time. From my experiences in life I've learned that patience is one of the most powerful cardinal virtues. It's a deal then as before even watching this video, venturing into this new year I have made myself a personal promise and commitment of rebuilding my life through self-learning and personal growth; and I'm already so excited and stoked for what I've learned so far and with so much more to go yet! I'm gonna go check out and listen to your favourite song there as Roses are held with great value in my heart as well. So I'll share two of my all time favourite (ultimate) ;) songs with you; the band is New Found Glory and the songs are Situations and The Promise - I truly hope you listen to them and you enjoy them! Just... the real frustrating cliche is that rebound relationships will usually fail, so... yeah focus on yourself. I'd recommend looking up the "Dao De Jing" and the "Zhuangzi", in Chinese if you can to keep all the wonderful nuance and meaning intact... otherwise you gotta tackle finding a proper translation lol. Focus on buiding self awareness and self confidence becoming single was the best thing for me as I really found myself and moved from a mindset where I focused on my ex to learning alot about myself and doing things for myself. This has made me much more indipendent, happier with myself personally and stronger where I dont get mistreated either. I live a simple live now working, drawing and dj'ing. I've been on my own for a few years after a break up of a first time 3 year relationship. I remember for months going back and forth in my mind why I should or shouldn't be with the girl, but my own happiness was more important at that time. It's funny though, some nights you think about how much easier life would be with someone, trying to finish certain weekly tasks. And other nights you wonder if that other person would even help, or just get in the way of those tasks.
That 7 year mark is seemingly dangerous lol. Same happened to me few years back. Been costing trying to get by kinda buried myself in the grind. Had to move as well midway last year, one of the hardest things ive been through. Having a shit job I know I need to get out of but having to have an income. Ive finally come to a realization I have to work yo make my life better than what its been. I have to start taking steps to build a better path for myself by myself. Im hoping to get that going this year. Cause as hard as that will be I know it will atleast get better over time, as opposed to staying where I am struggling and unhappy just to get by another day another week another month. I was in a ten year old relationship that ended due to irreconcilable differences and almost immediately started dating again, but she broke up with me after 2 months, a week before Christmas. I was devastated. It was the worst moment of my life and I'm still healing. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. It made me feel less alone.
It's normal to feel things, to jump in to things, to live, to learn even with a tsunami of catching up and inevitability it brings you where you are now which is where you need to be. Last year has been such a theme of change from old to new for almost everyone im close to. This year seems to be about getting in to the new groove, like the beginning of the sequel when the hero is learning to master the powers they finally won at the end of the last story. I so appreciate you, especially your honesty and vulnerability. I can totally empathize with 2022 holding some really hard changes. Those seasons of having to fake it til you make it can be so overwhelmingly wearisome, those moments when it all just feels like it’s crashing and you’re feeling it all at once. Hugs! I heard a thought provoking sermon this new years day, highlighting change and how much we can hate change and yet even trying to keep things the same requires change. That was helpful to me as I’ve been mourning change in a very close friendship, the point that sometimes trying to keep things the same is a more painful change than letting go and accepting the change. It sounds like you got to a similar place of needing to let go and ride the ups and downs of all the changes that came/come along, I’m glad you know you certainly aren’t alone. I totally get wanting to just jump into closeness with someone again, the frustration with relationship building taking so long. Praying for your dear heart. Keep being who you are, keep loving with your heart out. I loved your thought about everything coming to an end, I can get there in discouraged moments of knowing that loving deeply leads to feeling loss deeply when it has to end but it was perfect to hear you say that same idea on the flip side, that every pain ends too, thank you for that. I may not really know you but I truly am impressed with the way you pour yourself out, with all the fun varied interests you have, with the way you can be both confident and exuberantly full of the adventure of life and at the same time so gentle and nurturing and thoughtful. “People are so amazing and so talented to bring so much beauty into the world”- your words, I hope you realize that describes you perfectly. I also had to change and uproot my whole life at the end of 2022. It has been for the best, but I had to make many major changes and sacrifices. Now, I'm a stranger in a new town, with a new job, and no family around. I have bought my first house, a new car, and with it a whole new level of stress and excitement. I want to say I'm going to crush 2023, but to be honest I don't know what's going to happen. I do love your videos as they help me to unwind, relax, and think in a calm supportive setting. The timing of the upload of this video for me was and is so fitting and relatable as I'm currently going through a 10 year relationship transition/break-up. I agree and also believe that everything, good and bad, just everything happens for a reason as coincidences can only go so far and explain so much in our lives - and those reasons eventually reveal themselves in time. From my experiences in life I've learned that patience is one of the most powerful cardinal virtues.
It's a deal then as before even watching this video, venturing into this new year I have made myself a personal promise and commitment of rebuilding my life through self-learning and personal growth; and I'm already so excited and stoked for what I've learned so far and with so much more to go yet!

Relationships are great and terrible. As long as you don’t lose yourself, you will always be better. Codependency can easily set in during a long relationship. Glad that you're in a more constructively positive head space, so I know you'll figure out all that stuff tripping you up in your personal life. Just... the real frustrating cliche is that rebound relationships will usually fail, so... yeah focus on yourself. I'd recommend looking up the "Dao De Jing" and the "Zhuangzi", in Chinese if you can to keep all the wonderful nuance and meaning intact... otherwise you gotta tackle finding a proper translation lol. Focus on buiding self awareness and self confidence becoming single was the best thing for me as I really found myself and moved from a mindset where I focused on my ex to learning alot about myself and doing things for myself. This has made me much more indipendent, happier with myself personally and stronger where I dont get mistreated either. I live a simple live now working, drawing and dj'ing. Hope every one has a better 2023.

I've been on my own for a few years after a break up of a first time 3 year relationship. I remember for months going back and forth in my mind why I should or shouldn't be with the girl, but my own happiness was more important at that time.
It's funny though, some nights you think about how much easier life would be with someone, trying to finish certain weekly tasks. And other nights you wonder if that other person would even help, or just get in the way of those tasks.

That 7 year mark is seemingly dangerous lol. Same happened to me few years back. Been costing trying to get by kinda buried myself in the grind. Had to move as well midway last year, one of the hardest things ive been through. Having a shit job I know I need to get out of but having to have an income. Ive finally come to a realization I have to work yo make my life better than what its been. I have to start taking steps to build a better path for myself by myself. Im hoping to get that going this year. Cause as hard as that will be I know it will atleast get better over time, as opposed to staying where I am struggling and unhappy just to get by another day another week another month. I went through something very similar last year as well. I was in a ten year old relationship that ended due to irreconcilable differences and almost immediately started dating again, but she broke up with me after 2 months, a week before Christmas. I was devastated. It was the worst moment of my life and I'm still healing. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. It made me feel less alone.

It's normal to feel things, to jump in to things, to live, to learn even with a tsunami of catching up and inevitability it brings you where you are now which is where you need to be. Last year has been such a theme of change from old to new for almost everyone im close to. This year seems to be about getting in to the new groove, like the beginning of the sequel when the hero is learning to master the powers they finally won at the end of the last story. I so appreciate you, especially your honesty and vulnerability. I can totally empathize with 2022 holding some really hard changes. Those seasons of having to fake it til you make it can be so overwhelmingly wearisome, those moments when it all just feels like it’s crashing and you’re feeling it all at once. Hugs! I heard a thought provoking sermon this new years day, highlighting change and how much we can hate change and yet even trying to keep things the same requires change. That was helpful to me as I’ve been mourning change in a very close friendship, the point that sometimes trying to keep things the same is a more painful change than letting go and accepting the change. It sounds like you got to a similar place of needing to let go and ride the ups and downs of all the changes that came/come along, I’m glad you know you certainly aren’t alone. I totally get wanting to just jump into closeness with someone again, the frustration with relationship building taking so long. Praying for your dear heart. Keep being who you are, keep loving with your heart out. I loved your thought about everything coming to an end, I can get there in discouraged moments of knowing that loving deeply leads to feeling loss deeply when it has to end but it was perfect to hear you say that same idea on the flip side, that every pain ends too, thank you for that. I may not really know you but I truly am impressed with the way you pour yourself out, with all the fun varied interests you have, with the way you can be both confident and exuberantly full of the adventure of life and at the same time so gentle and nurturing and thoughtful. “People are so amazing and so talented to bring so much beauty into the world”- your words, I hope you realize that describes you perfectly. So glad to see your resiliency, your joy in the small things (even if waves of harder emotions come and go). Your combination of encouragement, sincerity, and wittiness always brings me a smile.
