Very good convenience. Can operate during ALL WEATHER. BUT, why can't the latch that hooks the tailgate at 11.41 be a little longer and hook the tailgate better?
Sherman Moore awesome! I wouldn’t be without an air gate anymore. Want to put one on my 1 ton too 😂. It was a little intimidating of a job when I was planning it but once we got into it, it was fairly simple. I will say though, if you go with a buyers kit, check your fittings, there should be 3 swivel type fittings in the kit but they shipped a lot of kits with rigid fittings instead. A simple email over to buyers and they shipped me out the correct fittings right away.
Nice video. Thanks for the instruction. What if you lose air on that cylinder? Hopefully the default to the “closed” position. Is that right? I’m hoping to install one on a 2005 Frieight…M2 single.
no!this is a 2 way system..air valve puts air to cylinder when you call for it!there is no default here...if it ever fails, you can pull any pin and take it loose..they seldom give trouble
oh man let me tell you about the air horn on that bad boy LOL. It may as well be a train horn. I don't typically scare easy and that horn made me jump the first time I pulled it... obviously on the drive home from buying it HAHA.

About to do the same thing to my truck. Great video. Thanks for sharing.

Good video works great
Can you please add part number and where you bought it .Good video thanks for sharing.
Thanks!! The part number is in the description with a link to manufacturer's website for complete description. I purchased from amazon.
I wonder if i could make an S10 bed tilt with that enough to access the fuel fill and tank?
I highly doubt it but I couldn’t say for sure. I’m sure there is a resource much smarter than me if you browse around for “pneumatic cylinders”.
Need the deats on it for sure
Link is in the description!

how much pressure are you attaching to cylinder? interested for a farm grain truck
Right off the main air supply so whatever 100-120psi
Man my little truck doesn't even have a gate latch, it has pins
Awesome video now you need some train horns .
