For the question you put about how to deal with toxic players in comp (or anywhere in general when there's communication): Just mute, report and don't care about it. What I've learnt and done is that "The moment you close the game, no one cares (but perhaps you)." I honestly have come along the way of giving humans this indication when comes to any gaming scene with communication "Have low standards for others. I'm not asking much." I know standing up is good, but personally these people end the day will they stop: I don't know, was my business or not (I shouldn't let my physical and mental health get effected) and speaking about how is portraited in content world: is for the content nothing less. I also do content, and I'm always wary and try my best that my viewers don't blast their ears due to my streams if someone screams, slurs, etc. I don't wanna bring that side to my audience but being aware is a *KEY POINT* And people out there who deal with this I advise you: Just learnt to play deaf, silence isn't wrong (is a good thing) and report then. The moment you observer the vibes, you'll eventually know. Stay safe, cozy fellow gamers
thats an absolutely good way to put it, thank you for sharing your thoughts! "have low standards for others" feels opposite of what I would usually do cuz I would usually expect "good" from others unless proven otherwise but yes its definitely just a game and at the end of the day, what they say doesn't matter
What I usually do is immediately mute the people in question. They will not deliver any helpful information throughout the game, no matter how much I hoped they would. So don't expect them to be someone they aren't. Basically tell yourself you're simply playing with bots against bots, mute whoever is affecting you mentally and play your best Valorant. You'll eventually see more progress this way than if you had listened to people like that.
it's definitely easier said than done to "just dont care what they say." for me, dealing w sexist, misogynistic people is tough, but i remind myself that i'm here to play a game i enjoy so letting them take my voice away from me is not what i want. muting them and reporting is definitely the way to go. there's no point in wasting your energy on negativity. if you know who are you that's all that matters. you can't argue with stupid.
Valorant is a game best played in a party. when you solo queue most of the time you are the outlier and will get ganged up on by the people in a party together no matter the context. there are very few lobbies in Val that are chill its hypercompetitive and people always think they are right. I suggest just giving call outs that will help win I.E you know where they are pushing or just a call out of where you got killed from. I would stay away from suggesting how someone "should" play. most times suggestions get pushed aside due to the misogamy or they think they are better and it is a losing game arguing with them. and if they get weird just because you are a girl they aren't worth communicating with anyway
okayy heres the thing: don't refuse to mute yourself you can mute them but keep doing coms you are good player and you can be more good if we use coms in comp always there are not toxic players in team but that doesn't mean there will be no toxic players so just relax and play your game. Don't being toxic against them just let them speak and do our best to win the match!!! and if the whole team is toxic except you just mute them all!!! its okayy!! you are great!
this video is literally how my girl play valorant with me while am screaming in my room because she have op with 0 kills xD anyway it's a good video hope u grind up to radiant hope u all the best in your content creation journey :3
If you want a better aim, it comes with a simple tactic. Aim and Shoot. As stupid as it may sound, but it implies that every time you spot an enemy you neednt just start clicking. Take your time, Aim on their head and then shoot. Its fine if at first you get killed even before you get a chance to shoot. With time the speed will increase just like your rank. Also a pro tip : Never look for an angle and spot an enemy. Tell your brain that the enemy is already present in that corner ( look at how drastically your reaction time improves). Happy Gaming !
yes i use it wirelessly! I never checked the latency but I dont hear any delay so far. I have a bluetooth adaptor that is on top of my desk (hidden) so it minimizes any interference
I dont know how you can be this calm. I try to be calm like you but I mald like PRX Alecks mentally. Funny thing is I voice out and fight (they bring the toxicity out of me) [usually they shut up after that] then I start to overheat and sweat REEEEE anywayss love this video
hello! I think silver-gold is elo hell and i have also encountered many of toxic players who have affected my mental health severely. My go-to thing when playing comp would be to mute enemy team chat so I don't see them trashtalk me and thus will keep my mental as stable as can be. IF anyone from my team starts getting toxic, I would mute them automatically on voice and if they bring it to chat, I would mute that as well. I would still keep doing my comms without hearing the toxic teammate. Doing TDMs helps a lot in improving aim for me but I think you might also want to consider adjusting your sens and dpi if you're having a hard time adjusting your crosshair on time and gets flicked on a lot. I think it also helps to look at your map most of the time, try to guess where the enemies would be based on the utils they use and listen well to footsteps! Other people recommend on aim training to improve aim but it don't work well with me so I do a lot of TDMs (often deathmatch but lately it's been destroying my mental so I stick with TDM). Doing a lot of custom deathmatches with your partner can help too! I also enjoy doing the range plant/def area and have them on medium/hard so it helps me be more conscious on checking corners. :D
great tips! my partner and I usually play custom matches just to prove who's better HAHA so maybe aim training together might be a fun activity in the future.
Thanks for this video. Glad I'm not the only one. For me, always mute, report. But ever since I started playing with friends, I try to "redirect the fire" towards me if people are being toxic. Imagine who you'd want in a teammate and be that person. Feedback is welcome, but not disrespect and you can let them know that. Some people are just hurt and take it out on others. Easier said than done and it takes practice. You're not just improving at Val but as a person.
8:41 scutally i am indian and i 5 stack with friends and acutally valorant is only good when we play with friend lots of laugher double meaning jokes trolling etc
let me be honest about gaming for girls, it will never be a good experience if you don't play with a group of friends, internet is toxic as it is and will never change, I wont say you should mute them and report them, nothing will happen to them, as they will need only to create new accounts, the only way is to learn to ignore the toxic guys/girls that are playing any competitive game, it is a hard thing to do, but it is something achievable, if you love to play the game, you do need to make that effort. I do hope you get confident and talk more in game as you will find very cool people playing this game, maybe you could join discord communities and try find a group of friends there.

you would only win an argument if someone else (or your whole team) stands for you :)
