Joseph Calleja is a Maltese opera tenor of international fame, who has performed in various high end theatres and is considered Pavarotti’s successor by many.

I expected to see some more warmth towards Michela from such an International Tenor with so much experience and maturity! Nevertheless brava Michela! You rocked the stage and made us all emotional in MFCC :') Your particular "hanqa" is a gift from God that cannot be studied or replicated.

Her solo was stunning, but she became starstruck and shy in his presence which is totally acceptable. She was desperate for an acknowledgement of her presence or some chemistry throughout his singing but he gave none, until the last line.
To be honest I prefer Michela's part. So innocent yet so strong.

Anything but perfect....but Calleja was overpowering...not at all easy as his interaction with Michela was lacking...he just took over.....

Michela tried to make this song her own but how can you better a song written by Ed Sheeran. In my opinion she ruined it.
Very poor interpretation by Michela. It seemed it was Joseph's song not hers.

Absolutely terrible in fact. No chemistry, no synchronicity, one singing on one level, the other on another. Was terrible to follow. This was not a duet but two singers, one great the other weak, singing at the same time.
