Rashford needs to go
He offers nothing, hes not even that fast now.
@@felis1672
He is still fast... just doesn't run as much
Been saying this in 2022 but yall where blinded by the amount of goals he was banging
@@felis1672yeah, he's had a terrible season but have you noticed that nobody has any pace anymore? Everybody is burnt out. That's down to the manager and coaches. The number of injuries suggests something is drastically wrong at Carrington. Rashford relies on pace.
It's just too easy to pick out individuals and moan about them but the ENTIRE squad can't all just lose form simultaneously and suffer fatigue injuries for a whole season and there's not be something wrong with how they're prepared.
@@VivoZzzWhat’s speed got to do with it if he can’t do bugger all with the ball. He’s piss poor..
Whats scarey is Tenhag seems scared to change. Amad is showing positive signs but we know Rashford will play ahead of him. Mounts energy looks good and he keeps the ball moving, but we know he won't get a chance to start.
I really hope Tenhag gets time and is successful, but he's got to try something new soon.
Both Mount and Amad had very long injury breaks, I can understand the concern of not pushing them through complete games, and they have dropped in few games recently, but they just might have to start
@rana1561 Yes, but not playing them at all is criminal. That is ETH's issue, his stubborness in changing his players and formation is going to end his coaching career here
@@rana1561yeh it's very similar to when he waited on Casemiro and was playing Scotty. Wouldn't be surprised for them to not start against Coventry
You mention Rashford but not casemiro. Why?
@@michaelrowell7798 “not playing them at all”
> Mount in every game for a few weeks, managed return from injury
> Amad banned for one match, won the quarter final, got 45 minutes yesterday
when will people stop thinking we just need to play x player for more minutes to sort this problem? I totally agree they’re both good and I want to see more of them, but the problem is so deep.
I think we have a major coaching issue at the club, players come to the club and consistently drop in quality. At this point even basic passing looks labored
It’s been like that since last March.
Yup, has made a grand total of ONE player (Dalot) better since joining 2 years ago.
@@SimonWhitworth The matter is bigger than Ten Hag. Rashford didin't really improve since 18 and Dalot might be the only one who developed properly in the last decade
@@OldRiver109 Rashford has literally the 4th most goals & assists from a winger in Europe in the last 6 years after Salah, Messi & Mbappe.
@@SimonWhitworthPeople have been wanting to blame or ship Rashford for ages, and when his form is poor (and it absolutely is this season), it becomes easier to climb on that wagon. Same with Bruno, for whatever reason. They’ve been our best performers for years, and people want them gone. I just wonder if it’s possible this season is terrible for both of them because it’s been terrible for EVERYONE? We aren’t losing (or drawing when we should win) because of Rashford and Bruno, we drop points because we can’t set up to defend no matter who is at the back.
He is a stubborn manager. Keeps doing same thing expecting different results

Only a fool behaves that way, but I believe he's not a fool. ETH is the problem but it's easy to criticise players even though we can agree most of our players are just average players.
@@clems4348 "our players are just average" -- yea exactly. we've got no defense, why do we act like we're title contenders all the time? Even Liverpool with their megasignings were struggling at 6th and 5th due to injury plague. Newcastle the same this year.
Dats y he get sack end of d season
His hands are tied. When are people going to realise? This has happened to multiple managers since fucking 2015
If EtH is seeing Casemiro playing like this in training, how the hell is he picking him 🤦♂️
An rashford an bruno
Probably quality in training. But on a big pitch over 90 minutes it’s a different story.
They're up against shit opponents in training.

@@gagankv8476 I was eth in. But I think I'm only keeping him so we definitely have a clear out of players
I agree with u. Injuries are not helping with unpredictable nature of players
@@gagankv8476 he needs to start dropping them go down fighting
Wouldn't that also apply to getting rid of the manager because the players aren't good enough or hungry enough? I really don't want to see us get rid of another manager and keep hold of most of this squad. Count the players in the squad who are supposed to be the leaders or senior players, count how many of those are available and how many are performing at anywhere near where they should. Honestly these performances are about accurate for where this club has been steered for the past decade
You're absolutely bang on. Next week's game against Coventry is going to be absolutely wild.
😂😂😂 bruno and rashford are going to start, Mount and Amad will be on the bench as always...
This could be the biggest shock of the season, Coventry will be up for this despite losing yesterday
It was wild indeed, almost got beaten at the end, went through on penalties
Poor start we conceded a soft goal
Poor pass back from Garna
Kambwala slipped & got done

It can happen
Solanke is in clinical form
So he capitalised on the mistake
Bruno with the equaliser ⚽
Scored in 3 consecutive games ⭐
4 goals in 3 games ♥️
Again
We conceded straight after we scored
Poor/shoddy defending
But also a deadly low accurate strike
Bruno equalised again
Dispatched the pen cooly ⚽
Casimiro was so sloppy
So poor

Rubbish, goalkeeper has got to save both shots, none are in the corner.
There is zero ideas in this club, the players look like strangers and in fact they are getting worse.
The penalty was NEVER a penalty FYI.
Got off the hook again
ETH can fuck off
The kick was fine, Garnacho was poor and Kambwala slipped and maguire was in no mans land
It hurts me that Casemiro’s injury has robbed him of a yard of pace and seems to have also robbed his form. He was so good for us last season!! It’s sad
We've been doing it since we won the cup last season you tool
@@lukeoneill513 Agreed pal he looks a shadow of himself so poor. Last season he was the spine/protection plus he chipped in with goals + had better passing.
I’m always trying to find excuses for our managers when things aren’t going well but i’m a bit tired of using the same ones for ETH and am slowly moving towards wanting to see him go for not being flexible and not being able to implement a style on the squad as a whole…
Slowly ??? You still ain’t there yet!!! This season is the worst and most pathetic display of coaching I have ever seen from any top club in my life. And I’m 35!!! He has totally destroyed this team to the point that world class players can’t even string two passes together. Say what you want about the team players and injuries and excuses… we have better players than 85% of the league and we are playing worse than all of them considering we spent 500 million in 2 seasons. From Game 1 to Game 32 we were outplayed. We never deserved a single point this season. If this manager cannot see what was wrong after the wolves game he is clueless
This guy absolutely is not the guy and I think a lot of our fan base are saying he shouldn’t be sacked because they don’t want to go through another manager but this is dreadful we are absolutely pathetic on the pitch and he can’t even make tactical changes to stop us conceding 10s of shots every single let alone stop us loosing it’s pathetic and if this was ole he would of been getting crucified, if we keep this guy and go into next season it will be a massive waste of time and another season will be wrote off
@@joshallen1846literally my thoughts.
@@samuelbrown3326people need to wake up, are these players good enough? Absolutely not but I’d love to know what these people defending this manager are seeing from these matches that they think is worth keeping ten Haag for? And the funniest one is he needs the right people above him lol so let’s get ashworth and Omar berrada down on the touchline to point out to him that we haven’t had a shot in 25 mins and there’s been a gap infront of our defence all season that you could host a festival in.
I 100% expect that Coventry will be the better team in the semi and United will steal the victory
Lol 'dont deserve a single point this season'. Jesus Christ ...
I hear the ten hag out movement and it is poor football but let’s be real, how many times do we lose the ball when trying to play forward. Literally both goals came from us being in possession. It’s crazy that people on more than £150k a week can’t string 5 passes together or keep the ball.
He’s made 0 changes to help. He needs to hold blame and probably go
Let's keep firing managers until we get it right.
I’ve been backing Ten Hag 1000% and blaming players AND I still believe we only have 3 maybe 4 real United players.
My issue is someone like me can see all the issues on the pitch and match after match nothing changes,
we don’t have the defensive Character to play that far behind the midfield, the only reason ten hag is doing this is because our defence has zero Pace .
You can tell He wants to play a high line and press high but he also knows our defence is shit and and can’t play that high,
So instead of abandoning that style he pushed the defensive line way back
(so they can get back) but the gap to midfield is massive and he thinks that OLD ASS CASIMIRO can boss the 6 spot all by himself.. it’s total bullshit .
If we had a solid defense the number 6 could be more chill and casemiro might work ,but we don’t and he fkn knows this BUT STILL CARRIES ON WITH IT ..🥴
Nothing changes until the Glazers are gone. It's not that difficult.
It made sense when we looked like shit playing 2-3 games a week, but we're on 1 game a week with no clear playstyle.
Drew to Brentford who has just as many defensive injuries and backline rotations as us but they outshot us.
It's sad to watch.
Erik Ten hag is everything Solskjaer was unfairly accused of. Individual brilliance bailing out a SHITE system that is not compact in the slightest. Basic coaching mistakes that is horrendous.
Yup. People don't want to see it.
Yeah i’m feelin Ole in today
You mean fairly accused of?
Ole is far better than ETH..
I always rated Ole and saw his tactical initiatives. Even as things were going wrong and he was loosing vital matches, i could see clearly that his problem was not with the working structure and patterns of play but with certain individuals whose roles were pivotal such as Dea Gea, Pogba and Maguire
This is your first video in like 5 years where i’m like “damn this guy spittin bars”

Watched United ex season ticket holder since 1964. Seen everything from relegation to treble and van gaal era but never seen such total lack of flexibility or willingness to change something that obviously doesn't work. First time in my life I think oh shite I have to watch United today .☹️
Casemiro and Rashford both had a shocker. And Hojlund needs to hold the ball up better and be much stronger instead of constantly falling over.
u cant blame holjund for one bad performance, he always holds the ball up well, he always gets in good positions, he just doesnt get the feeding he deserves, rashford needs to go next season
@@EmpoweredWeightLoss-ff9mn I like hojlund but he definitely does NOT "always get in a good position". In fact, he's rarely in a good position.
@@mundolioknows6447 your first comment was saying how he doesn’t hold the ball up well? have you been watching united this season? he holds the ball up very well for a player of his age, and if the united wingers wasn’t so greedy/ bad at making decisions he’d have way more goals under his belt… you can’t criticise holjund here mate, i agree with what you said about casemiro and rashford in my opinion the both need to go at the end of the season and need replacing, but holjund has been brilliant he just needs players around him to play for him rather than play for them selves. let’s be real here mate
today he didn’t have a great game, but for the best part of the season he’s played brilliantly
Thought Hojlund did well today, we're never quick enough to support him. When we do he releases it quickly and tries to get forward. Their first goal came from his good hold up play and a poor touch from Garnacho, he needs support
I think this was the last straw for Ten Hag I wanted him to stay but the fact we see no progress at all since the start of the season till now is unacceptable, we’ve been poor all season and nothing has changed, absolutely nothing, I think no matter if we win the FA Cup or not he will be gone just like LVG did, it’s just painful watching us this season
It’s not a personnel issue anymore. It’s obvious to me it’s the coaching and how they are sent out to play. Time’s up for ETH I’m afraid.
At last you've seen the light. Great Post 👍
Agree about Ten Hag but to continue suggesting lineups that include rashford is mental at this point
I am in the silent group, that saw that performance today and said "No matter what i think or feel about ETH, or however much i want to back the manager, these performaces are fucking abhorrent and i think we will not see him come August"
This is a fucking joke.
What does ETH and these guys do in training? Cos it's the same every week
No structure, no style of play, no passing patterns. Regardless of who’s available/playing, that should be the one constant and it’s on the manager to ensure it gets carried out in every single game. He hasn’t done it in 2 seasons being here and that’s a very scary thought.
Bang on mate 👍🏼
The last sequence of play summed it up. United had one last chance to attack and create a chance. Just ended up passing sideways and backwards incredible.
Bro I was punching the wall when I saw that
That was incredible. Kambwala got the ball and I could see his frustrated "Why is it back with me?" look. Nobody took responsibility so they just kept passing it backwards. Shambles
I spotted that as well. Sums up the season
It’s called a refusal to be brave, no one’s willing to take the bull by the horns, it’s the blind leading the blind, it’s modern day football for you, nobody wants to be the one that gives the ball away, they’re petrified to give it away, indecisive, rigid. None of them have got the balls, IQ or bravery to make something happen. I grew up in the 90’s, and my United would’ve threw the kitchen sink. When United needed a goal back in the day, they might not’ve always got it, but you can guarantee they pinned the opposition in their own half and launched wave after wave of attack. United needing a goal these days and it’s Bournemouth pinning us back and getting corner after corner. This United side is unrecognisable to the one I watched win 13x league titles.
@@thesmithsnerd Too right….reminded me of walking across the dance floor at ten to two to ask a girl to dance then swerving off to the bogs.
The last 30 seconds sums up this bunch of players, a chance to get the ball in the box……sideways sideways and backwards and the whistle goes…..madness!
Watching that game was literally painful. Every time Bournemouth got the ball I was worried
I think Dalot was poor on the right either switch him to the other side or play AWB RB and Amass LB, Garnacho on the left and either Forson or Amad on the right. Season is so done we need to switch it up and let the young hungry talent have a go. I would love to see Mount play more to 🤷♂️
Forson isn’t ready yet - has to be Amad
Forson is a joke
@@sunglee3935 a joke is that the whole team needs replacing after the amount of money we’ve spent. Its so poor i would much rather watch Januzaj, Bebe and Varela run the front line at the moment

Will Erik Ten Hag get a seizure if he drops Rashford ffs!!😢
Rashford and Bruno will be the death of Erik

You're feelings are mirroring mine Ste. I can't see what we are trying to do. We are getting outplayed by everyone & this can't continue. I'm losing faith in Ten Hag now. Genuinely felt around Feb 2023 that we were on the right road, that we just needed a few smart signings & we could challenge. Well that's been well & truly evaporated!
We don't score enough goals, we don't create enough chances. We don't control possession in middle & final 3rd, we can't dictate tempo. We can't defend transitions. I can't think of any metric that we are good at.
Our league position is now starting to reflect how bad we are (10th wouldn't be unfair tbh).
But but but......no matter what happens with the manager, we need a huge overhaul of the squad. It may not happen this summer as the new execs won't be in position. But it has to happen
I understand where you are coming from Stephen, I'm still backing ETH but it's wearing a bit thin. I know it's tough but look at what he's working with, most of the players weren't his buys. The injury list is beyond crazy. Varane, Casermiro, Sancho, Greenwood, Martial, Williams will all go in the summer, I'm confident Ratcliffe will bring in quality. ETH doesn't do himself any favours though, needs to start Mason Mount now and possibly Amad. Amrabat isn't good enough to start. Here's a though, instead of being in the Thursday/Sunday cycle, might not be the worst thing if we didn't even qualify for the Europa League and focused on getting it right next season, qualify for the champions league and target both domestic cups.
I’m reluctant to turn on the manager especially looking at what the alternatives are. But, honestly I just don’t get the way we play. It’s consistent too which makes me think it’s on the coach and system he’s trying to implement. We do have good players but ten hag is exposing all their weaknesses and doing little to play to their strengths. Who knows maybe it’s all part of a grand plan and when he gets the profile of players he needs everything will fall into place. Certainly doesn’t look like he’s being pragmatic with the squad he’s got now.
I'd rather have big Sam, at least he had a consistant style of play 😂
i dont want to say i told you so but i told you so. i commented last season when newcastle and brighton beat us away. the most humiliating 2-0 and 1-0. couldnt get out of our own half for 90 mins against teams like that. gave ten hag the benefit of the doubt vs big teams but the other 15 teams. i expect a performance, not result but performance. guess what when klopp and pep came in they straight away dominating the game, hard to play against and create chances, compact, even with players like klavan and alberto moreno.
if hojlund isnt 20 years old i’d think he is a flop. we kept buying technically useless players while trashford and classlessmiro are already here.
What a great video! You summed the game up perfectly! I personally would sell Rashford and Fernandes as the first has looked pretty much all season he wants and move and the second has underachieved relatively all season...yeshe runs and runs but no good running if it achieves nothing?! Obviously unfortunately Casimero and other older players....atart with a midfield rebuild closely followed by the defence before looking at the rest of the team?
Anyone that can defend this man doesn’t want the best for United.
Most players looked like they only showed up and played out of contractual obligation…didn’t seem to want to be there…
And I hate to have to agree that I’m starting to worry about ETH…
You only start to worry, omg. I have been done with TEN HAG for months now. That man is trash!
@@MylilPwny85I was down with ten hag months, how can he not see that his game plan isn’t working and hasn’t worked since game 1 against wolves.
Why are there huge gaps in midfield always? Why? Casemiro is gone! He has no legs again. Hes no more an elite defensive midfielder! That performance was horrible....as in horrible. The players do have a lot of faults but Ten Hag is also to blame. What do players like Amad and Mount need to do to get a start? I've supported Ten Hag but this performance and his rigidity in decisions is hard to defend!🙄
Good Video Ste 👍
Its like sodding groundhog day watching united recently i switched the game off 10 or 15mins 2nd half they really pissed me off its just same shite different match!.

A candidate for Howsen Vs. J Redknapp said after the match, 'That should have been a penalty. I know it was outside the box, but it should be a penalty.' Sheer ABUism.

"tRuSt ThE pRoCeSs"
I somewhat agree about trying something new and suspect once we throw the top 4 towel in we might see that. Seems every year the 4th place contenders limp to the line and you always think there's a chance until the end.
But until that time, when your back line is:
- 1st choice right back
- 5th choice Centre back who we tried to sell in the summer
- academy graduate Centre back who as brilliant as he was last week and may be long term, stank the place out today
- a right back playing left back who doesn't have a right foot never mind a left foot
Is that a good enough base for "let's try something new"?
Even last season I was not happy with Ten Hag's attacking patterns. The team just don't know how to create chances that doesn't involve Rashford/Garnachos pace or individual brilliance.
The gaps between Kambwala and Dalot was ridiculous and the midfield was woeful. How is Casemiro still starting 🤦♂️
Felt sorry for kambwala. Left to defend one on one constantly. No help in sight.
Because we dont have any backup.
At the start of the season Mainoo was supposed to be his backup.
I've been asking the same question. Why is Casemiro still starting!!! If I were Mount, Amrabat or Eriksen i would be fuming. Any other coach drops a player for a bad game, what message does that send to the squad, half arsed is good enough. Casemiro is not only playing bad but is also showing no effort or commitment. The same applies to Rashford why is he starting? I know players injured but there are standards, effort and commitment are non-negotiable. I would rather ETH play an academy lad than Casemiro next game at least he will give 100% effort.
Keep seeing players not closing down and allowing players so much space to shoot this is surely a coaching issue it inexcusable goodbye Ten Hag he isnt up for it.
I said at the end of last season i wasn't sure about Eric i said if it didn't improve by half the season this season he wasn't the man and if anything we have gone backwards Eric is not the right man for Man Utd i said it before and ill say it until i die we should never has sacked Ole UTFR

It is down to ten Hag tactics. He probably already knows he is on his way out.
Mentally checked out after the Brentford game. Get to the FA Cup final and hope for the best.
The hardest decision in the world for Jim Ratcliffe & INEOS now would be to keep ETH on for another season, because it might be the one thing the club hasn't tried before. The club has tried changing managers, and it's clearly not working because every 18 months/2 seasons we're back to where we started, i.e. the team needs a complete overhaul.
But the argument for keeping ETH based off what he's achieved this season is indefensible. He's made excuses after excuses, refuses to change his system even when it's proven to be not bringing in results, refuses to drop underperforming players because he's trying to implement a specific system that still doesn't work.
Yes, the injuries have been bad (and no doubt even Pep & Klopp would struggle given the amount we've had this season), but that's part of the game. ETHs' failure to adapt BOTH his training methods to reduce non-contact injuries, and his tactics to keep his same "principles" while rotating players to maintain results on field, have undone all the work he did last season, and now the players (while rightfully are responsible for the poor performances) have lost faith.
What I saw today from the manager:
He put Rashford in in what I'm guessing is a chance to amend his terrible form and put hence Garnacho out of position making him put a shift in on the right (not like he respected that position either ways, a lot of the time he was driving to the middle or the left and I'm unsure why).
He put Casemiro in what I'm guessing is an 8 position because he was very high up the pitch near the opposition box, this despite likely knowing his legs have gone. I'm guessing he did that to keep the ball better at those positions but we already know that the team plays down the wings from all the games we have seen because unless we get a quick passage of play in the transition or a long ball in to Rasmus we just dont play down the middle, allergic to it.
Half time, everyone was having a game to forget, Rashford was a ghost, Mainoo was getting overwhelmed because Casemiro was too high up, Bruno was running his legs off like always but also like always really unable to do much when he got on the ball outside of that one ocasion in front of goal where he scored. The most promising player on attack was Garnacho and or Mainoo both of whom where bad but not annonymous.....
Second time kicks in and the manager throws Garnacho under the buss with a sub at half time, that was his biggest threat aside from maybe Dalot when he pushed up gone in place of Amad whom despite putting a shift in didn't do much as per to be expected because he hasn't played enough... Rashford stayed on the pitch.... I think, like the guy was annonymous outside from that one time he ran back to put a tackle on the opposit side of the pitch. Bruno remained on the pitch (this one I can understand a bit more because he always puts a shift in, you can at the very least pull him to the 6 position and get something going from the back)... Mainoo is subbed off for Mount.... The 6 that we had was subbed off for an 8, so you had 2 8's on the pitch and a player that doesn't know to keep his position in Bruno.
If things where bad in the first half they where even worse in the second half with the subs.
This has to be one of the worst performances from this manager from the touchline, and here I'm not even talking style of play which you can put on the players if you want, I'm talking subs which is something the manager controls. I let you all make your decision
Same players, same tactics and somehow ETH is expecting something to change. I want the manager to succeed and I get he’s had issues off the pitch, but it’s inexcusable what’s been happening on the pitch since the beginning of the season. Every single team has played us off the park this season. How many games can you genuinely say we deserved to win? Maybe two or three and I don’t even think that’s being dramatic.
If I could see a semblance of what’s he’s trying to do working I could make the argument for him. But with every week that passes and absolutely nothing changing my doubts grow more and more that even if we had every single ideal player it wouldn’t work. I just don’t know anymore I feel defeated. I want to give him the third year I do, but he’s got to give us something on the field or even say something that shows us that it’ll get better
what are you honestly expecting to happen when we have exactly the same players as the week before?
I too am frustrated by the lack of chances for other players but I understand that ten Hag wants to play his players into a routine.
The problem is its not working and he's still not giving them a chance
My sentiments as well. I want him to succeed but he needs to change it up a bit. There's no doubt the loss of Martinez and Shaw has really affected the whole structure of the defence. Sadly I don't see a lot of change next season in terms of new additions to the first team as INEOS have already made it clear the days of big transfers are done. They will be reducing the wage bill and that might mean less experienced options for the manager. I'm fine with Varane and Casemiro to go given their contribution this season but can United offload them ?? At this point if it's mutually beneficial then I'd let Rashford fill the Mbappe void at PSG. Might be the only way we get some decent money in to re-invest. PSG love a marketable player nearly as much as United do...
What really needs to happen is for INEOS to publicly acknowledge that Ten Hag is here next season. Their silence does only serve to push these players into a mindset of switching off and waiting for the next manager. Something they’ve done to Van Haal, Jose and Ole plus Ragnick.
At the moment you can tell that most players are not exerting themselves.
You can have 11 average players who are hungry to impress and they’ll beat a team of high rated players. That’s why United seem easy to beat.
TACTICS: there’s so much talk of style of play and how Ten hag has no style of play but if you watch most games from last season and a few this season, clearly you can tell how the manager wants to play.
👉🏾High line/press with build up play from the keeper forming a pseudo back 3 with the two 2 Centre backs.
No.6 as the center point/link up of the forwards and defense while he’s supported by inverting RB & LB.
High transitional play up the pitch with 5 players.
Wingers, striker and the 8 & 10.
That kind of play requires high football IQ plus a high work rate for the RB & LB plus much defensive awareness from the wingers and nearly perfect coordination between the 8 & 10 plus the striker.
The players at the team right now have failed to cope and gradually decided to down tools or simply give up on trying.
Those who believe in the manager have been injured throughout the season and few left on the pitch are probably outnumbered by the naysayers.
Crucial positions for Ten Hag’s style of play are:
The CENTRE BACKS;
- Martinez and Varane are the 1st choice pairing and have only played one or two games this season together. Ten Hag has be stuck with Lindlelof, Maguire, Evans, Kambwala and sometimes playing other players out of position.
- The Right/Left BACKS and No.6 combination.
Shaw, Malacia have been out and Regulion was sent back without a replacement. Casemiro has been on and off plus he’s no longer physically fit to handle the demand for that position. Sofyan failed to adapt quickly and he’ll be returning back to his team leaving Mctominy as the other option but he just can’t play.
WINGERS and STRIKER:
Rashford has coasted throughout this season while he’s the senior winger available. Antony, Amad are notably under per leaving only Garnacho.
Martial has been out leaving Hojlund are young striker to play alone as the available striker.
THE 8 & 10;
Bruno seems overwhelmed by the captaincy and has been trying to do so much then failing to do what he’s required to do.
Mount got injured before he could even start to integrate himself into the team.
So, fans will mostly care about results and ignore the glaring facts but if INEOS truly has done their homework, they need to support this manager and at least judge him with a season when he has what he needs.
If they fire Ten Hag and bring in a new manager, still that manager will want certain players. Last I checked, United can’t spend a lot due to financial fair play and low funds.
Why start over than build on what you already have?
Fact is ten hag getting out played by his opposition manager week in week out ,
Onana is our play maker 😵💫
I feel bad for Onana, he’s a decent keeper and under the right manger and playing style he would thrive. But if you facing upto and sometimes more than 20 shots per game, you’re bound to concede.
totally Agree, I honestly don't know how to defend this kind of football.
I don’t think he can change it because he has had opportunities to rectify this mess by he just doesn’t have the solutions. Look at the opposition manager in the dugout, he just got the job this season and he has completely changed that club style of play.
Casemiro was awful today. I think the issue with Rashford is he is never on the front foot and appears to be thinking and reacting at least a second slower than he should be. His first touch right now is poor, he can't retain control of the ball, doesn't seem to want to run past a player and as a big unit is far too easily pushed off the ball. Rashford is done, he needs to leave. Your analysis is spot on Ste, some of this is down to EtH and I am beginning to question if he is the right man, especially if Nagelsmann can be persuaded to come to OT or Thiago Motta. Right now I would take either of those over Erik. We are still not defending the edge of our own box. I felt bad for Willy Kambwala he slipped and on that pitch, no wonder.... that was IMHO overwatered and the ball held up horribly on some occasions. I have no real expectation of us doing anything at all this season and I think we could struggle against Coventry next week.
I am not and never have been a "manager out" person, but have been and am right now, an I am really not sure about this guy person.
How is it that rashford cant dribble around and through players and Mainoo seems to glide by players?
I don't think there's a club out there that's worse than Manchester United in terms of style of play atm, and it's sad given how big this club is. We're truly in need of a major surgery.
Ste, you need need to watch the clip of Ten Hag and Gullit on Dutch TV. Discussing Ajax tactics. Exactly what’s happening now. Wide open midfield. It seems that this is Ten Hag’s philosophy!
Ten Hag knows football. The players can play football. But they are lacking imagination. Hojland kept receiving the ball with nowhere to go and no one supporting him. I dont believe the manager sends them out to play like that.
Hojlund has been let down this season by his team mates
It’s so embarrassing we can’t even get top 5 this spurs team will lose at least 3 more games before the end of the season and will still comfortably finish 5 points ahead of us! He has to go players are terrible too but it’s embarrassing the excuses he makes!
ETH inners are more concerned about being proven right than looking clearly at what is in front of them.
If united played a champions league final this season, the only players missing from the would be starting 11 are Varane, Martinez and Shaw.
Meaning the midfield and Attack are United's best available and have been constructed by ETH. Therefore how come these depts aren't at least resembling an ETH philosophy or any philosophy for that matter?
This would at least give an indication of what the manager is trying to build towards
One win !! In SEVEN !!!!!! Take it in
And we're fighting for top 6 !!!! Manchester United
I've been a huge stan for Ten Hag but I just cannot explain or defend him watching Casemiro for as long as he did, and still subbed Mainoo. I also can't defend how the attack still seem like strangers to each other and ETH's stubbornness to play the deep defence/high press front 5 that he's doing. Play on the counter and sit deep until you get the back four you want to play high and that can support a high press.
He's had head scratching substitutions all year. I really don't know what ETH is watching at times. The lackadaisical body language from players is intolerable. At what point is that a reflection of the manager.
@@robertbell6230 I legit think the players are _mostly_ doing what he wants but aren't enjoying it. Obviously Ten Hag's second string isn't really any of his players and barely makes up another 11, but surely this available squad can do better than this today. Getting put to the sword by teams hovering above the relegation fight is a reflection on everyone, the players, the manager and his staff.
Casemiro has been stinky ever since his second suspension last year, but you lot make excuses for him, yous are so starved of superstars, you’ve been justifying his performances just because he has a stella history with Madrid. He shouldn’t ever play for Man Utd again, he’s shot to bits. Rashford should not be playing, and Bruno despite his goals shouldn’t be playing. It’s so simple, hook the passengers, hook the ones that cause an imbalance, but I go back to it, yous are starved of stars, starved of icons, you think Bruno is the second coming of Cantona, when in reality, he’s one of the biggest problems.
Nailed it. I’m fed up of Bruno being defended. Him and rashford are our biggest problems on the pitch.
Can’t believe this Trog had the temerity to comment on the looks of the Newcastle chair-lady
Rashford is consistent move death when the ball gets to him. With every game, it gets clear ETH will not keep his job if he can't improve performances by the season end
I feel you pain Ste....i just dont know what to think.
Ste you nailed it mate.
Wasn’t happy with Garnacho being hooked at halftime. Looked our most dangerous forward looking to set people up, Rashford was a waste of a shirt and yet got to stay on. Don’t understand that decision
Totally disagree. He was extremely poor and wasn’t doing his defensive duties either. The kids can’t play every game - Mainoo needs a rest as well
I think you watched the wrong game. He was by far the poorest player with the ball and without. He & Rashford has no clue of their role in the game. Rashford is done
He was sh💩 today, just like the rest of the players.
We were getting destroyed down that side because Garnacho wasn't doing his defensive duties. It was the same against Liverpool.
Rashy bashing irritates me. Last season was great and most acknowledge that Mbappé, Vini Jnr, and Rashford are the three best players in Europe. Rashford is undermined by atrocious owners, managers and quite frankly, inferior quality teammates. Cut him some slack and be thankful he plays for United.
Mate, it's a new start … embrace it!
I'm fed up of hearing EtH say "we should have won, BUT if you analyse the game … we lost/drew"
Well, yeah, after the fact, doh! YOU are the only one that can influence that sunshine!
I would bring in Rangnick behind the scenes. He called it for what it is straight away and I loved that
Compulsory listening this. Nail on head
ive been getting pelted all week for speaking out against ten hag. we saw today what we expected
Ten Hag isnt the problem!

Feel sorry for Bruno. The rest seem clueless
This can’t be serious. Bruno is not at the level United need, he wouldn’t get in city or Liverpool team. He’s not the level of a premier league winner
@@lukebrown8580 BS. Best player for us (Portugal) in a star studded team. Your club is just shit mate, I'm sorry. Stop scapegoating Bruno.
@@jeanjacqueslundi3502 international football is nothing like the premier league you mong 😂
@@lukebrown8580 well I don't know if you've been consistently watching Utd in the last ten yrs mate because we are certainly not at the level of a PL winning team. And if Bruno wouldn't make it, please do tell us all which of the other numpties would.
You need to accept the level this team are at and be more realistic. As for Bruno in general, he has quite clearly been our best player ever since he joined.
@@jl249 the reason why United have been so poor for 10 years is due to recruiting players who are not the level to win the league. Simple
The problem is not Ten Hag. You ask why he doesn't play Amal ahead of some of the other players? Do you attend the training sessions? Are you seeing what Ten Hag sees in training week-in, week-out? No. I suspect that Amal is a mediocre footballer. When I have seen him play he certainly doesn't look like a player with potential.
ETH is playing the likes of Rashford hoping he will rekindle last season form which he ain't
Casemiro was a total passenger tonight. Maguire seems clueless about how to actually play out from the back
I'll be honest I think maguire was the best player in the squad. And we should be incredibly scared I'm saying this rn. Imagine maguire being the best player in the squad consistently
absolute shambles
Based on what? Because he won some headers. He was awful, slowed the play down and lumped the ball forward that’s it
Casemiro has been a passenger since his return from injury lol
We should have given minutes to Dan gore and oyedele instead of loaning them out
This is the problem we have as Man United fans. Expect a magical turnaround and instant success. If you choose to support the manager, don’t give up when things get harder. Accept that the season is gone and focus to make a conclusion on how Ten Hag bounces back next season but then we get here (frustration) and get a manager fired. Then we recycle ♻️
Ten Hag is under extreme pressure and at such a moment, there’s no manager who’s going to start experimenting with critical positions.
So again, some
Fans need to relax and stop the madness. Not much can be done at the moment.
The players you call for to play, have not played in a while and are out of form.
Note: we know that most players in that team have tuned out and are simply going through the motions.
As others have stated though, doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of madness.
@@carlmanx1 Ten Hag and his coaching stuff have demonstrated before that if there’s a better player in better form and mentality, they’ll play them.
One thing we forget is that attitude and mentality contribute to a player’s form. Example, I’d suspect that Garnacho wasn’t in the right state of mind for this game. Although from outside, you’d think it should’ve been Rashford to come off but at closer inspection, Rashford played with a bit of effort today than recently (not good enough but better than before)
We fans will always assume that the player on the bench can come in and do better but that’s not often right.
Most people are mad that Mount didn’t start but he plays no.8 or 10. At the moment Bruno plays dominantly 10.
-Currently, Mainoo is in better form than Mount.
- Amad for Garnacho ( Not Antony.)
- Amarabat is 2nd choice and Casemiro was providing a bit of cover for Kambwala and Maguire. It would’ve been high risk to bring in Sofyan. He’s off form and not as intelligent on the ball as Casemiro.
- the rest of the bench ( was Eriksen and a bunch of kids)
So, I understand that when the team is not playing well and not getting the good results we always think what if? But different is not always the answer. It’s just giving up when it’s hardest.
Same mentality being applied to the manager.
What was the point of ETH making Mount his marquee signing 😂?
I still think that low line of defense and high line of midfield is a structural issue caused by player availability. Right side was a cognitive nightmare. Forget about our dream of possession based football. ETH to me is also either trying to manage player politics or not finding enough confidence in other available squad players. I am so down in mood with my team I feel like ignoring match days altogether.
Whats that quote: - The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome. Boring, dreary passionless.
You can apply the same quote to the last 14 years, this hasn't happened because of Ten Hag alone, this is culmination of all of the failures under The Glazers over the years; hire new manager, waste money on terrible signings, decent first season, shit second/third season, manager sacked. I'm willing to suffer this until the end of the season and possibly next season because we have a brighter future ahead and I believe Ten Hag deserves a proper structure behind him.
@@mikester4896 I agree. He should get the last year on his contract. However, I'd also like to see something change now though. Apart from Martinez and Shaw that was pretty much our strongest team and we were garbage. Needed a very soft peno to save our blushes.
@@Sto1c1 I don't think any change can save this team at all until the next transfer window. It's just riding the storm out for now.
You've 100% nailed it today. He's finished.
He's seen the light. About fkn time
I genuinely can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a game.. even when we win, we just look like 11 strangers running around aimlessly, it’s bizarre
Casemiro’s passing this year has been well below last season. He’s lost the ball a lot. Hojlund is still work in progress. We don’t have a right back. Think you need to calm down mate. Troubled season. I recall Liverpool did badly last season (lost Van Dijk) and turned it around. Let’s hope we have some fit defenders next season and in meantime, get behind ETH and the team for the rest of season. All this moaning doesn’t help.
You do the same thing with every manager too. When things are going well, you say "back the manager through the rough times". Then the rough times come, and eventually you give up and we're back to square 1 again. Took fergie 7 years to get it right but we can't give anyone more than 1 season of underperformance before giving them the boot, despite the injuries and other situations that he's had to deal with this season in particular.
I'm really struggling today, I've been a staunch ETH Supporter/Defender for months, and my resolve has been
so severely tested, each week. We continue to see the Players he has got available whither, and collapse after switching
into a defensive set up, trying to see out a game, and the Penalties we're getting in the last few mins of games
shows how nervous the players are now, It's getting harder and harder to defend Eric's choices, and lack of changes
looking for a way, with this group, I'm desperate for the season to end, and see what's going to happen, when Barrada
and Ashworth, Start making decisions about moving forward, and decide our future path
they have to be the ones to do that surely? they've been hired for their insight, we don't know if they're saying ETH stays?
ten hag takes the team to a top restaurant in manchester....the waiter's going round taking the order...ten hag orders roast beef, yorkshire pudding and gravy. "What about the vegetables?" asks the waiter....ten hag says...."give 'em all a bag of crisps".....
I know we can’t even take Coventry lightly right now. But I think I would go with Amrabat-Eriksen-Fernandes in midfield and also find a way to put Mount in there somewhere since he actually looks like he has energy. If we beat Coventry, then we have Sheff Utd and Burnley at home after and you can stick with that midfield if it works
Frames in the background are fire.
What annoys me is every game we have 20 shots and another manager would have said - get the defence back in order… put a wall for a bit but this guy is not willing to change…
"I don't have crystal balls, they're hairy - occasionally Manscaped..." 😂😂😂👏 Fair fuck's for that seamless improv-plug Ste, that's the inspiration that comes when you let the rage flow through you!😅 😅😅
