- Again I've gone back in the Eurovision archive for old classics and newer bangers and made a top list of my 3 favorite entries from every country that has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest from 1956-2023.

I can't believe I always do this. I was so disappointed in the beginning of this year and then so happy after. But I do miss the fun that was ESC 2021, everyone was so happy to be back and the energy was just so so nice.
2021 was the best year this decade so far

I think many people overlook 2016 when it comes to the best years, it had soooo many good song. Of course not as many as 2012, 2020 or 2023 but really many good ones
Aija by Sudden Lights is the most beautiful song I've heard and seen on ESC, and I watching it since 2009. It's like a music taste and IQ test, and Europe just failed it 💔
Listening to them for a couple weeks now, and I gonna say all of their songs and albums are good. But Aija is the most complicated, deep and soulful, it has my whole heart 💗

Some mistakes I made:
- I forgot to change the title for #2 for Croatia which is Danijela with Neka mi ne svane in 1998 and she placed 5th
- Israel’s A-Ba-Ni-Bi was in 1978 not 1979
- Switzerland’s Celine Dion performed in 1988 not 1998
- Latvia’s 3rd place was in 2023 not 2022

Croatia no2 is not what's written-it says Maja Blagdan-"Sveta ljubav" when in fact the performer is another Croatian Eurovision contestant- Danijela Martinovic-"Neka mi ne svane".Excellent choice though,with Maja,of course😍

Original? Every year Finland comes on im like: let me guess a rock song...and yes as if I can predict the future XD

@@tupla1122 but it still didn't really shy away from rock music. It was like hyperpop meets rock. So not so original for Finland. Next year they will send a rock song or a rock fusion song like Cha Cha Cha and I will be so surprised...

Nice to see. Mine would be the same at more than half, but some differences with UK (where are you now instead of spaceman) Netherlands (vrede instead of troubadour), Ukraine etc
Oh and where is beautiful mess for Bulgaria. Some countries top 3 like Bulgaria have my favorite all time songs.
Estoy casi por completo de acuerdo en tu top 3 de España. Salvo que yo cambiaria a Chanel por Rosa López, la representante en 2002 con su Europe's Living A Celebration. Pero Chanel tambien lo hizo muy bien. Y con el de Suecia tambien. ABBA fueron geniales y me encanta Waterloo y toda su musica, pero yo soy de la generacion Pop y Loreen y su Euphoria para mi son lo mejor que ha tenido Eurovision en este siglo y de las mejores de la historia.

Norway: I would swith places between Rybak and Secret Garden. "Nocturne" is in Top 5 best ESC songs ever, imo.

Sweden: I would swith places between Loreen and ABBA.
Ukraine: I would switch places between Verka Serducka and Go-A, no kidding.
Switzerland: would switch places between Celine Dion and "Repondez-moi".

О, неожиданно соглашусь почти со всем. Go-A должны были тогда занять более высокое место на мой взгляд: они одновременно необычны и вокалистка очень хорошо поёт. А Hatari, кстати, неплохо так зажгли в свое время, что в сравнении с Think about thigs вызывает взрыв мозга контрастами. Мое уважение вашему музыкальному вкусу!
