Excellent list, Chris. I'm enabled to purchase a few more PAA soaps especially the chocolate bourbon. That sounds divine and I appreciate strong long lasting scents. What’s your opinion on whether it’s worth the money to buy the soaps in CK6 or his standard base? the Beach is my favorite with Metanecter close behind.
This is a very individual thing to be honest. Some swear by CK6 and some prefer CK due to cost. You do get an additional ounce from CK6 so that's something to consider. I always buy CK when I have the opportunity. I find it provides everything I need in a soap. I would almost always buy an older formula of a soap if the artisans offered it at a better price. I just don't find that the extra butters and skin conditioners do much for me. So for example, if Pete at A&E still offered the formula before Kaizen at a more budget friendly price, I'd go for that. I'm only speaking for me though. Many folks say the new formulas work vastly better for them.
Great list dude! I just got the Awesome Sauce bar soap and it Absolutely smells just like the Proraso splash. The Beach is a new acquisition of mine and I love it. The only omission from my list would be Sundown, but I'm a fool for a vintage Gillette. 😁

Nice list! I recently got some aftershave samples so I could figure out what scents from PAA that I would want to purchase in the future. They were all good, but Gondolier is an amazing scent to me.
That's really tough because I'm not sure what level overpowering would be. Most of the scents are towards the medium range. It might be worth asking the good folks at PAA what they feel would work best for you .
@@oxfordnoi5609 Great, I hope they can help. I don't find that shaving soap scents remain on the face very long at all after the shave. This is especially so if you use post shave products. Since I use witch hazel, alum, and a splash, I never smell the soap at all after the shave. If you don't use any post-shave products you might smell it for a while, but generally not for long, if at all.
Kidna sad that some of his best scents are seasonal. Really want Atomic Pumpkin and Clown Fruit and I have to wait for so damn long for a chance to get them. I want to get one of his razors and one soap for now, just not sure which. I'm really into sweet, almost sugary scents (but hate chocolate). Any suggestions?
That's tough because normally I'd recommend Rabid Banana or Peach for you. I'd say try a few of his aftershave samples as they are .99 each. You can get quite a few of those and see which scents you like.
@@IAMCDB aww man, this is so damn sad. My wife HATES the smell of banana, so that's a big no I guess. Peach? Could be. I live in Greece, so ordering samples isn't something I can do with the insane shipping cost. :( this is tough indeed. Are there many artisans that do these seasonal scents? I can't say I like it, but I guess it can't be helped. I see PAA has a new category for 'sweet' scents, I see quite a few in there like Organism, Nektar, Future Fiction. I'd get Future Fiction, it's quite popular but I've heard it's rather mild, I like my scents strong.
Wow I just got a bunch of Aftershave samples from them..... I didn't get everything on your list. Loved Cold Spices, and Awesome Sauce Al Fin was ok but not a hit fit me. Sadly, wife and I both disliked The Beach. Others I really liked: John Frum, Agharta, Black Bot, and Atomic Age Bay Rum!

I can't recall having tried it to be honest. I really like the pineapple bay rum though:)
Man, now I have to try some Awesome Sauce.
It's can't miss if you like the scent of Proraso Green Afershave.
So many great PAA scents. I have only one on your list, so I better catch up! Great video!
Thanks Glenn. I hope you enjoy them if try some.
Do you have suggestions for a scent that is mild and not overpowering at all, from PAA?
That's really tough because I'm not sure what level overpowering would be. Most of the scents are towards the medium range. It might be worth asking the good folks at PAA what they feel would work best for you .
@@IAMCDB Thanks. I just did. Also, since u've used PAA soaps, for how long does the soap scent remain on ur face?
@@swampsect Yes sir, a lot of Artisans do seasonal offerings. They rotate stock in and out.
Awesome Sauce ftw!
Thank you sir!
Wow I just got a bunch of Aftershave samples from them..... I didn't get everything on your list.
Loved Cold Spices, and Awesome Sauce
Al Fin was ok but not a hit fit me.
Sadly, wife and I both disliked The Beach.
Others I really liked: John Frum, Agharta, Black Bot, and Atomic Age Bay Rum!
Oh man, I can't believe you didn't like the beach. That said, no everyone likes that type of scent. For me it brings back great memories of beach trips during the 70's.
@@IAMCDB I was also surprised I didn't like it because I'd heard great things....
Gonna have to get samples of the others you mentioned that I haven't tried.
@@chrishutch11 I hope you enjoy.
I also had my eyes on good vibrations for a while
I've never tried that one but many people like it.
I wish I could post 10 PAA soaps I only have 3 which are CaD, John Frum, Cold Spices in that order. All CK-6, I think CK-6 changes the scent a bit not to sure🤷♂️
Those are three good ones at lease:)
Have you used the Planet Java Hive? I'm looking at buying it but looking at reviews.
I've never used that one sir:)
Al Fin smells like old lady perfume to me. Not for me. I agree with you that this is polarizing
It's definitely polarizing that way. I can definitely understand that.
Are these overly soft ot mid-firm? I have never tried PAA soaps.
very very like it contest I'm so happy please next time for example After shave lotion, balm, gel etc. Razors. I told you before 5in1 only you. You have from me Gold Medal. Thank you Master specialist shaving.

No talk about controversy ? A Must try ,
No, no talk of controversy. PAA has been a good steward of the community for many years now.
@@IAMCDB Controversy is a scent from PAA
@@Ferbocarbooohhhhhh, thank you sir. I completely misunderstood:)
@@IAMCDB I noticed! 😂 You should make another video with your next 10 top PAA soaps! I just ordered 29 samples myself to start my arsenal. Haha
