Unless it's their first thought, but that first thought is, "How do I make this place as unwelcoming as possible to people with disabilities, so they spend less time here meaning I can rotate customers through faster and make more money, *and* not have to see people that remind me of how easily I could suffer the same problems."
Especially when it's a medical facility that has blatantly gone out of their way to create uncomfortable seating like it will actually get people to leave faster or something.
No, it just means that people are going to get more hostile as your torture chairs make their spine more knotted than sixty pairs of earbuds put in the backpack of a marathon runner.
My kid is deaf. Getting medical providers to get interpreters for him is ludicrously difficult. Sure, interpreters are expensive, but medical facilities are required by law to hire one for deaf patients if they take Medicare. So they just they never seem to know how, or forget, or whatever.
The only exception was one doctor who, after the interpreter didn't show because they were "scheduled for the wrong day," (never scheduled) was asking the required questions of "do you feel safe at home?" while I was interpreting for my kid. I pointed out that if the parent is interpreting, that's an utterly useless question to ask if the parent is abusing the kid. The doctor said "Oh, wow, I never thought of that." We never had a problem getting an interpreter at that doctor again, at least.

It's gotten weird.
I know places that hold silent afternoons where once a week they limit how many people can be in the store and ask people to be quiet, but even after decades of operation still have no accessibility for wheelchairs or decent braille signs.
And this annoys the shit out of me, as an autistic, for whom these silent afternoons are designed.
Sure, plenty of us are helped greatly by silent afternoons, but even without, we can manage.
Someone in a wheelchair can literally not even get into the store and a blind person needs a guide to find anything.
You can't tell me installing a ramp or railing costs more than literally limiting the amount of sales your store can do during an afternoon every single week.

3:05 as a person that sadly works at McDonald’s myself, I can explain why this is. When building the actual burger, for the Big Mac we make the top portion on top of the top bun with nothing in between as it’s much easier to make the burger. We then move the top portion to the bottom portion to make the 2 part sandwich. So what this person has done was just closed the box without moving the top portion.

The "downspout not lined up with the roof drain" is deliberate by design. The normal roof drain is at roof level behind the downspout. The "other" opening is above roof level, and intended to make it obvious from the ground if the main downspout becomes clogged and water is ponding on the roof. This is an emergency for a building, for the water load can quickly become TONS of water in a downpour, causing sudden catastrophic roof collapse. If trees are allowed to overhang the roof, the fall leaf drop will plug up the downspout exits quickly and completely.

I'm someone who works at McDonald's, that big mac was done by someone new on the job, we've all done it once, but usually they're corrected by another employee before being sent.

See, with braille signs, what I've always wanted to know is how the hell blind people are supposed to know there's even a sign to read? Like if there's someone there to tell them "Hey, there's a sign on your left, at about head height - no, further forward-" it would obviously be easier just to read them the sign, but if they're alone...? Is there a reasonable answer to this that I'm just missing? Just I've never seen a blind person running around stroking all the walls on the off chance there may be a sign somewhere, windmilling down the corridor.

When we make a Big Mac, we put the top bun and the middle bun in the top of the box, and the bottom bun in the bottom of the box. Then we put the toppings and the meat on. All this was done right here. The next step was done wrong. The next step is to move the middle bun with all its toppings from the top to the bottom without flipping it over, creating the double layered sandwich you all know. We then close the box, which automatically puts the top bun on. This person skipped the step to move the middle over, which just smooshed everything together. That is why this happened.

My uncle Chris recently passed away so the post at 1:08 gave me a heart attack and major anxiety-
