People keep saying Schammasch's crowd is hella dead during their live performance. I mean, do you really expect a moshpit in this? This is the kind of concert where the best option to enjoy it is sitting in lotus position while the music transfers your consciousness to other realm.
mature ritualistic music is like that:) in future whole bm will be like that! the era of hippy drunk metalheads will come to end , bm will become true only if unite two elements in our mind , warrior and philosopher..

The crowd quickly made them understand that no one would follow them. They calmed down quite quickly, as they should. 'cause some of the blackheads were reaaaally not happy with their behavior and close to just throw them out.
Schammasch has been my favorite music for over a year. Perfect sleep music, car music. Can,t understand that they do not have more followers. But that make them more mysterious. As a drummer, I have to say that this drummer is amazing. But there are also the vocals and the strings. There is no better. What a atmospheric vibe they create. I'm going to buy the music. Every time I listen to these guys, I feel like I'm front of of a new era of Deep Purple or Joy Division, like they were defining a new standard of what "rock"" is or could tend to be. Clearly they should be stars.

imo they're actually heavily influenced by Zos Kia Cultus, Demigod-era Behemoth. Which ain't a bad thing at all. That was when Nergal was at his most occult-influenced too.
