Yes! Currently lvl 92. Tried to farm petite but byalan 3 also seems like a good place to lvl. (Bought very cheap Schweizersabel and deals nice dmg). Havent played ro in years which is why for now im trying to do a lot of random stuffs lol.
Then this video is quite outdated for you. Since I've been playing JRO for over 3+ years I've found many maps that give much greater EXP such as Pyramid, Sphinx, Penomena at Clock Tower underground, Malaya fields, Geffen Tower etc. So many. And above all, there are lot of instance dungeons that boost the base level step by step until you get 175. Those are for players who enjoy story based missions and lore of the game while getting level up it's awesome! I'd recommend that you might check my later videos for the detail.
+Paulo Laygo The quests are funny. I like how they slowly give players normal gears, instead of "Obviously better Eden Gears". Monsters are tougher but give as much EXP as their high HP. I think it's easier than anywhere else (Official servers, off course)
+Seeker77 RTS There is an event called "Rag Hodai" which allows you to play for free at limited periods. You need to keep an eye on their site "ragnarokonline (dot) gungho (dot) jp (Japanese only)" to see when they will hold such event. The latest news I read today, they're holding "Rag Hodai" to celebrate their new job Rebellion update, allowing players to play for free this day and this Saturday, Sunday. And yes, playing through VPN is slower and causes lag.

Will they remove the free gameplay ? - If Rag Hodai ends, yes, the server will come back to 1,500 Yen per 30 days. The event will come back in, usually every 1-2 months. A guide on how to - The server is not allowing foreigners to get in, apparently for reasons regarding their government. It's possibly illegal to post such thing in public place.

Skills can kill monsters much quicker than the ctrl+click attack. That's why I spent some points on Int to make SP regeneration goes faster. Bowling Bash does double damage if the character stands on the coordinate (X,Y) of the map that isn't a grid line. The grid line, if I remember it correctly, is an x,y coordinate that can be divided by 4. To summarize, my build is Spear Bowling Bash with high Str and Dex. Other stats else are moderate.
Did you mean the rate of exp and drop ? Well, I think it's similar to other official servers out there in the world (100%) except that they've been adjusting exp rewards of monsters on their own servers. This makes Japanese version of this game much easier to play as a newbie. And much more challenge for veterans.
