What is ASMR?
Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response

I make $35.50/hr. Sounds great. And a decade or more ago would have nearly supported a family. But, I am single and after I'm raped in taxes and pay health insurance I am only left with enough to pay my rent(which is $1,600) groceries and bills, with not much to spare. I can't take vacations, I can't save for retirement, I drive a 20 year old car that isn't even registered because it won't pass emissions 🤷♀️

I recently discovered your channel and I absolutely love your videos!! I'm usually a silent viewer, but I really felt compelled to comment on this video. The economic crises is definitely very widespread, here in South Africa life seemingly becomes more and more expensive every day. On top of that, we've been hit with a massive avian flu outbreak, so eggs are insanely expensive all of a sudden. in USD, it's nearly $10 for 2 dozen eggs. It may not seem like a lot to some, but I can very much relate to you in the sense that to us, that extra few bucks does negatively affect our lives, because we have to cut corners elsewhere as a result. I'm only 21, but in my lifetime alone, I've seen the prices of some goods nearly triple and it's honestly really scary! But like you said, we WILL overcome this! Sending lots of hugs!

$34/hr sounds great if you live in the Midwest, but not if you live in Washington DC or California where the cost of living is sky high. It all depends on where you live. I try to only advocate for my own pay. Criticizing others for their life choices, and how they choose to spend their money (if it really is a choice; usually it isn't), doesn't accomplish anything. And positivity is hard to come by when you're falling behind on bills and can't make ends meet. Just my 2 cents.
You are correct. I live in Chicago and cost of living is ridiculous! What the lady said what she made $34hr and her rent was $400 every 2 weeks, and just had a couple of other little bills, and still couldn’t afford food, in my mind I was trying to do the math. I’ve never made that much before and was still able to pay more than that, so that why I was questioning it. As far as positivity, yes it is hard, I been homeless and at the very bottom, but I believe it was my positivity that got me through and put me in a better direction. But, everything I ever talk about is my experiences and my thoughts, we all live the life we have differently, and that ok. Thank you so much for your comment and for watching my channel.😊❤️
Yes cost of living is full on in Australia and we have a housing crisis in austraia and inflation and mortgage repayments is crazy at the moment! ❤

Doesn’t matter how much money you make, people are terrible with their money and financially illiterate. And manifestation isn’t real. Self help is a multibillion dollar industry
I agree that a lot of people are bad with money management, but not everyone. Manifestation is real if you want it to be, and I do want it to be. So far, I haven’t spent any money on so called “self-help” information, the only investments I’ve made have been in myself. Thank you so much for your comment and for watching my channel.
