I love your videos! I recently went to Japan and took all of your recommendations! I bought the D.UP glue and fun fact it keeps your lashes on even with reaaally heavy crying lol it’s the best glue I’ve ever tried! I also got the detclear instead of cure because of you and I love it!
I only know few channels who features Japanese products and good thing I discover yours 💕 i love your videos. I'll try those products you recommend when I go to Japan 😊
hooray that you did! haha I didn't realise there were so little of us out there! definitely, and please let me know what you think once you get to try them 😊 x
I am so happy you like the nivea deep moisture lip balm in honey. I told you I am obsessed with it too. I recently bought the olive type, but haven't tried it. I also love the Lycée eyedrops. Too bad I wasn't able to get the lash serum recommendation earlier, would have liked to buy it in Japan. great video as always
You'll have to let me know if you like the olive one! well, I'm sure you'll be back in Japan soon enough 😉 and then you can recommend me things!! haha thank you as always x
Can you do a video on why you moved to Japan, experiences, pros/cons, why you decided to move back? I'm intrigued and have always wanted to live in Japan for a few years too 😊
Hi, I just discovered your channel. I was searching for Muji Cleansing Oil and one of your videos came up 😃. Thanks for all your reviews! Very helpful 🥰👍
I just discovered your channel.i also live in japan.please tell me which drugstore foundation is suitable for dry skin.also suggest me serum, cream, face wash is suitable for dry skin.TIA
watching this again while doing desk work...Tina, pls try the DHC lash serum the newer version. I've used the canmake eyelash serum, it was good. It strngthened the base of my lashes but the DHC is phenomenal. I've been using it over 3months now. The base is darker, i'm not sure if there were more lashes or that the strands are stronger but definitley longer. Before, I couldn't even see my lashes after putting mascara because that's how hooded my lids are but now I see them even without mascara.😊stoked!😊
look, enough said! I will definitely be trying the DHC one next time I'm in Japan - you've completely convinced me!! haha I think I tried it like yeaaaars ago when I was in school but especially if they renewed it! Can't wait to try 😍
if I remember how to do it! haha I was just playing around when I did this look but hopefully I can re-create it 😉 I believe I was wearing the colour 'Marshmallow' liquid lipstick by Colored Raine! x
Hi Tina! What drugstore chain in Tokyo do you think offers the best deals on skincare products? Or which one often has promos? As much as I would want to check out stores and compare prices (which I always do in my home country), I have a fairly limited time on my upcoming Japan trip. Thank you for your insight!
Yay how exciting 😍😍 ! So in all honesty I don't know if they have all of these drugstores in Tokyo (or many branches) since I lived in Chiba which is just outside, but the ones I found were cheapest/had sales were: - Sundrug - Welcia - Kusuri no Fukutarou Matsumotokiyoshi is probably seen the most in Tokyo and it's alright but I did find the others were usually slightly cheaper. Although being in Tokyo I think in general things may be a little more expensive 😔
@@TinaTanakaHarris Thank you, Tina! I've taken note of the drugstores near my accommodation that I can probably check even late in the evening 😂 I'm really excited for this trip.
I have been using the Japanese brand 'Diamond Lashes' for ages now! I've been wanting to try different ones but they are just such great quality for value so i keep going back to them 😅 x
Hi, I'm in London, England, far away from Japan. One question for a global cosmetics project I'm working on: Are Mary Quant Cosmetics popular in Japan? (As you know Mary Quant started in London, but her brand was purchased by a Japanese company.) Thank You. Milt.
I personally have not owned any Mary Quant products but I do see the iconic flower print of Mary Quant's brand quite often over there so I would probably say yes they are! x
@@TinaTanakaHarris London 7.45pm Sat, 9th. Thank You for the info. I'm involved in a project to have a plaque installed at Mary Quant's first boutique on the King's Road in London. (She opened BAZAAR in 1955) MQ sold her company to a Japanese firm, so I wanted to gauge if it was popular. I want to invite Japanese press to the installation, planned for late March.
@@valiakorda6731 Thank You for the reply. A major Mary Quant exhibition starts in London on April 6th and runs for a year. My plaque to MQ will go up in about 3-4 weeks.
I am assuming you mean on top of make-up? It's always hard to on top of makeup without ruining it - I get a cushion sponge and tap on the sunscreen, and then apply a high SPF powder on top 😊 x
I think I have like years and years ago so I don't quite remember how much I liked it 😔 but I know it's super long lasting/waterproof and my best friend swears by it! I must try it again though - thankyou for reminding me x
Am from pakisatn but Am living in japan and i watch your videos for buying stuff from droug stor, thnkssssssssssssssssss..... Youuuuuuuuuuu sooooooooooo........ much........... Now i watch you reviews and buying thoese things,😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
Amazing! Well you are definitely the kind of person I make these videos for - I hate how most Japanese products don't provide any information in other languages - glad I could help 😊 x
Oh cool I'm from Pakistan too, I know most of these Japanese products cost much less in Japan than elsewhere (or online)...is there some way you and I can workout a way to send me some Japanese Products to Pakistan....(I mean personal use-not a business deal or anything) 😊
Tina, did you know the lululun face mask company is also in the area I live in. You can also order directly with them as well, but of course it isn't the same with Japan as they get everything within when they launch a new mask. The site is address: www.lululunusa.com
I actually did see the US site! Really great that they have done that, I linked Amazon so everyone can get it globally but I've pinned your comment so those in the US can see that you can get it direct from them! Thanks again for the tip x
I can see what you were trying to do with your ear piercings there at the beginning of the video 🤣 I have extra pair cartilage piercings on the top corner of my right ear myself, and I like it when people tend to look at them the first time they see me--really, I like to show them off 😆 I'm still surprised at how many familiar products I saw on this video! The Lululun's mask, Hada Labo Shirojyun lotion, Nivea lip balm--I really like those! Still using them religiously till now since forever 😍 Anyway, was that your mother who interrupted you? 😃 Do you speak Japanese with her at home? It's so nice seeing you speaking Japanese 😊
Haha I love my piercings too - I wasn't necessarily trying to show them off but I think I realised how much they moved when I talked 😂😂 But I want another cartilage one!! That was actually my Grandma ahaha, I lived with my Grandparents when I lived in Japan - but I do talk to my Mum mainly in Japanese when I am with her!
@@TinaTanakaHarris based on my experience, cartilage piercing is less painful than the ear lobe one (got 1 extra piercing on each lobe, but I decided to close it, cause I didn't like the results 😕) 😃 I wanna have another cartilage too! Maybe at the top, so I can wear some long barbel earring to connect 2 holes 😏 The voice sounds rather young, so I thought it was your mother 😋
Always ❤️ your review of products! Helps so much to know what is best quality to purchase when visiting Japan! Can not wait to go shopping! Thank You for doing a great review! 🤗
