Olivia Coleman had a 4 minute scene in The Bear and almost stole the whole episode, even surrounded by the amazing actors there. Her QE2 in The Crown is a master class in acting. She's so amazing, I can't wait for this movie!
I hated that bit in The Bear where she described her success as coming to her by sheer chance and luck but contrived to make it look like she'd worked hard. Maybe that was the point but if it was everyone seems OK have misinterpreted it, which I can only lay the blame for at Coleman's one note acting performance. Worst part of the whole, otherwise excellent, series.
@@drumgold23 that wasn't the point of her scene at all---it is about having the right perspective so that you are open to opportunities when they come. Yes there's an element of serendipity in walking down the right street at the time or meeting the right person at the right moment, but none of that exempts you from having to work to the bone to actually achieve success. That is really the point of that entire episode. You not understanding that has nothing to do with Colman's terrific performance in that part.
Ha! Someone pretty much wrote a film for Olivia Colman where she gets to be Olivia Colman. This is going to be spectacular fun, and Colman will also be a joy on Graham Norton's sofa talking about it.
Obviously you've never seen the 8 seasons of Peep Show, the funniest comedy show ever written by the Succession guy, that she starred in. It's so good.
This movie is one of those you need to watch with other people in the theatre so you all can laugh at the same time. This is why I love comedies and horror films.
The gleeful buildup of it all had me literally screaming out loud at "It's German" 😂😂😂 I almost never see any new movie trailers I'm interested in these days but can't wait to watch this one!
Knowing how much Olivia Coleman and Jesse Buckley love each other, this must have been an absolute blast to film! I love them both, and I'm so excited for Anjana Vasan since Killing Eve.
Jessie Buckley and Olivia Colman reuniting for a movie? Sign me up, always interested to see what else Jessie does in the future especially for a comedy movie since she's very funny and likeable in interviews 🤗
I learned about the incident this is based on several years ago. I am so effin' glad a comedy could be made of this. With Ms Colman and Ms Buckley this will be comedy gold.
The skirt pull up got me dying in the movies I was just sitting down and the 1st ad before the mean girls movie was on (I watched mean girls) and when I was hearing all the cuss words like: b** f** f***ing and when that ended I was alright but then a girl was running and she lifted her skirt up 😂😂 I swear that has to be a 15 😂
30 seconds into this trailer and when a female police officer appears on screen, the film is historically inaccurate from then on. Maybe the female police offer time travelled from 1965 to Victorian England. Maybe?
@@voxcodasynthe Why would you attempt to lecture other people on historical accuracy when you yourself seem to have trouble differentiating between the 1920s and the Victorian era? Almost as if it's really not the history you care about
I caught this at a local theater on Saturday before it goes mainstream (and I’m assuming to the general public. It wasn’t an advanced private screening), BUT let’s just say our two leading ladies are comedy GOLD! I left the theatre laughing and crying. 🤣😭 Thank goodness Olivia Coleman is one of the producers!
Can't wait to laugh continuously! Olivia & Jesse again in an opposite type of movie, from the profoundly serious, moving, emotional Lost Daughter to the epitome of comedy!!!!

“It’s German” 😂
“Dee sloot.” Whatever that means.😂
honestly wasn't sure how I felt till "it's German" now I have to watch it.
I knew it the moment she headbutted a guy. 😊
One of the best lines 😂❤😂
💀
"The Bart, The"

She was by far the best part of "Secret Invasion." Which granted, is a low bar. But still, she gave a magnificent performance notwithstanding.

'Oliva Coleman. On film. _Literally_ opening an envelope.' _Here. Take my money. I'll watch it_
She really is something. I only knew her from a Doctor Who ep. w/Tennant & comedies. Confetti & Green Wing

Olivia Coleman and Jessie Buckley, two actresses that just command every scene they're in. This should be a treat.
I think Jessie Buckley is brilliant. Not just a great actress but singer too.
you should watch lost daughter too! They're in that together as well.
@@BeaRose9675 I have! They were indeed great in it.
Jessie Buckley blew my mind on lost daughter. She’s so compelling and captivating on screen. And I have always loved Olivia Colman and always will ❤

That's if she remembers to talk about it.😄
Absolutely!!
LOVE all of these leading ladies. Also Olivia Colman's smile always cheers me up :)
This does look like it would be a really good comedy. Lols.
Can’t wait to watch Olivia on comedy mood ! She is fabulous in every movie she has film !
Ugh, when she makes you cry, you'll cry but when she makes you laugh, you laugh until you cry
Erm, even 'Confetti'?

Same thoughts about both😂😂😂😂😂
Totally!
There is just something delightful about Olivia Coleman being vulgar. You feel like all is right in the world.
It oddly has that feeling of when you were a kid and you heard a teacher you know swear for the first time, delightfully funny.
The gleeful buildup of it all had me literally screaming out loud at "It's German" 😂😂😂 I almost never see any new movie trailers I'm interested in these days but can't wait to watch this one!
BOTH these actresses can do no wrong. So great they put them together.
This looks amazing and like a great story for their talents to shine.

Olivia most certainly deserves every award just for her expressions in this trailer.
Agreeed

That evil smile of Olivia Coleman from Fleabag time seems to be back , cant wait for this blast.
"It's German." 🤣
This looks fantastic-- "It's German" nearly made me fall over!
I love Le Corbeau (1943), and this seems like a hilarious cousin to that film.
It's so rare these days that I see a trailer and think "I've got to see that." But...I've got to see this!
Saw this at TIFF, it was great! The old ladies especially loved it
"It's German!" I'm so ready to see this one LOL.
Now I want a Lucy Worsley documentary on this 😅
IYKYK!!

I would watch Oliva Coleman in a Budweiser commercial. I saw her in Broadchurch and fell in love. She has my complete adoration as an actress.
I would watch her read the phone book.
Now that is a fan 😂@@Shazzadut1
She had me at Numberwang 🤣🤣🤣 She's brilliant in everything ❤
It’s cool to see both actresses that played Leda now together.
Olivia Colman and Jessie Buckley are both starring in The Lost Daughter.
Brilliant movie from 2 yrs ago, that's why people here saying they're reuniting.
8 seconds into this clip and I knew immediately that I want to watch this. Added to my watch list straight away.

Me too. Stopped at 39 secs.
You had me at Olivia Coleman.
I’m pretty sure that’s Alisha Weir as the daughter. She played Matilda in the movie musical last year. Excited to see more of her!
I love Olivia Colman in dark comedies best. I first learned of her brilliance from Peep Show. I can't wait!
