Narrow n aged paved street, community get together corner coffee shop, and row of old-style shop/ house building still exist in this area, surely give you a sense of walking back to decade ago time capsule again. 🤗🤗
Most of the areas in this neighbourhood are intact. Hope they will not start tearing down old buildings to build tall new ones. It's nice to walk around here once in a while.

It's an interesting idea to try to see it as if you visited in the 1980s. One of the areas where it is still kind of possible at some parts. I think you mentioned sometime before that you used to have an office at the Kitchener complex. I guess you know the area quite well, thank you for taking us along! :)
Yes, I had mentioned about having an office there. Kitchener Complex is owned by HDB. They kept increasing the rent till I decided to work from home permanently. I like the nostalgic ambience.
The new King Georges Height BTO will be built at 31:24. Rochor River Peak is further south towards Sim Lim Tower. I will be making a video there (Sungei Road) soon.
I really enjoyed this walk as I always walk this way when I visit Hotel Boss and VHotel, and you conveniently went past another hotel that I will be staying at soon so now I won't get lost ...😊
