- Trying to save the amount of power consumed when using the interior lights I installed LED replacement bulbs in place of the stock incandescent bulbs. I show that the incandescent bulbs use .3 Amps vs the LED replacement bulbs that use .1 Amps while being 2-3 times brighter. This should allow me to use the interior lights for longer periods of time without as much fear of draining the van's battery.

Your original bulbs are ~4 watts each (i.e. .31A*12.65V=~3.9W). If you had all 8 lit, that would be ~32W (which you wouldn't likely do, if you were in your vehicle by yourself).
Your new LED bulbs are ~1.4W (i.e. .11A*12.65V=~1.4W). Times 8 that would be ~11.13W, so the LED bulbs use ~35.4% of the power of your old bulbs. With a 45 Ah battery (i.e. a RC of ~110 mins), you could run all of those light for ~10 hrs & only uses about 20% of the capacity of a good fully charged battery (which means it would still start after 10 hrs of full lighting).

I've just install 11 white LED bulbs on the interior my 2007 Toyota Sienna. I've purchase mines from eBay as a kit of 11 bulbs.
After the installation, I did notice that the interior was much brighter and consuming about one third of the electricity as before.
This my friend was mission Impossible. Good job!
yep, almost exactly the same. if you look at the lens on the light there is a spot that you can pry behind with your flat screwdriver and the lens pops off. The puddle lights on the doors are a different style of bulbs though.

Pretty much exactly the same. Use a flat screwdriver to pry on one of the sides to release it from one of the pins. once you have that side disconnected the other side though just fall out. Thanks!

thanks, i might try it one day. have you ever thought about replacing your turn signal and tail light bulbs with LED ones? it doesn't seem too hard and I love the look of LEDs. Unless you have to install a ballast for them...
I do think the HID bulbs are the same on the 2010 if I remember correctly.

Try working it out with either some needle nose pliers or maybe a small flat screwdriver. Be careful with that broken glass though! Good luck :)
Hey there Patrick, we have the 2010 Sienna SE. Can you share the URL or supplier you purchased your LED's from on eBay? Also, any thoughts on replacing the HID headlight bulbs? Do you know if the bulbs in your 2004 are the same as the 2010?
Is the dome light just as simple to replace?
