People talk about how Mr. Mourinho didn't use young talent. When you're managing big clubs, you need to win right away and do something big or you get the sacking. The reason Lampard is allowing them to play is cause he can't sign anyone and they need players since they also sold. Plus, he won't be sacked, basically a year to get his ideas through and doesn't have the Chelsea players where they don't like the manager and they just stop playing and caring.
Managing for only the present and ignoring the future is one of the main reasons why Chelsea are struggling right now and their rivals are enjoying watching De Bruyne and Salah on a weekly basis.
He had a young salah lukaku and debruyne instead of developing them he payed big bucks for players and decided to loan these now world class players out

It is depends on club demands. If United asked Mourinho to go as far as he could with young players, he would do that. United board asked bias objectives. That was the problem between Mourinho and United.
I completely agree with u, I think Chelsea's hand has been forced by the transfer ban, history tells us that chelsea are not a team who promote youth much or at all really. it'll be a shame if next season they go back to their old ways again because they have such a good youth set up
If Chelsea had this strategy 3-4 years ago, they could of had a front 3 of Hazard, Lukaku, Salah and De Bruyne in behind. That would have done some serious damage.

Can I just message about Tomori. I thought he played really well against Liverpool. As a Liverpool fan I thought Salah seemed scared to get the ball and take him on but when he did tomori did very well. Just consistency and drop in form.will stop him from being very good cause he has all the quality, from what I have seen

De Bruyne is not a Chelsea product. He was loaned one season to Bremen and one season to Wolfsburg before being sold to Wolfsburg. De Bruyne is a product of the youth academy of Racing Genk.

I wouldn't say his methods are in line with the modern game, 10 years ago EPL was all about power which suited Mourinho but now it's all about technical ability and pressing. Still a legendary manager though

I have a soft corner for young players or outliers/underdogs. I always favored Leicester from the first season while they were fighting relegation battle, though Chelsea is far from such season but they got a new manager and many players from acamedy and lower levels is great for English football and fans.

The trend is due to the fact that young players are hungry show that when they play, they've had some experience being loaned out (man utd & Chelsea especially), & finally they've had a bit of luck come their way
(i.e transfer ban/unforseen circumstances {{like at utd/Chelsea}}, philosophy/change of philosophy {{ex Norwich & Arsenal have always liked playing youth. Arsenal since Wenger days, Norwich played a young side in the championship too. Its part of their club philosophy to play young academy players}}, & of course unfortunate injuries to main players).
This is what generaly explains the trend across the clubs mentioned.. currently.

we have released and sold many many players this year and only have key players really on loan or ones that need to prove themselves we have a couple with a buy back clause players like Nath Chalobah, Nath Ake and Jeremy Boga we are implementing ones for players we may need back in future
