I just came from bottle collecting, I have a lot of clients that leaves me bags of empties and I’m going back again tonight. I just love recyling bottles and cans, glass and plastics I take them all.
I found a few will going for a walk today, Lots of people doing the same thing so picking is slim. I have to wait until next week before going on my usual run at night, it's the only time i have zero competition & less danger, i have a freind who picked up some cans for me last week, he said he got jumped by some homeless person who is off his meds, they broke his arm for one trash bag of cans he collected for me. So i went out today to find the rats responsible since the police won't help, at least you don't have to worry about that. So that's cool for you.

@@TheVictorianCanCollector , here they get aggressive, Because some of them are crazy & there's no more mental institutions so there free to roam no meds & harras anyone they want, The police can't do a thing because there is nowhere to bring them, they won't put em in jail
The problem with these machines is that people don't wait a few seconds before they place the next can,Bottle into the machine they just keep adding. They need to wait until it drops the item and counts it before you can place the next item into it
@@TheVictorianCanCollector , you shouldn't have to much trouble, i just hated parallel parking, 🤣, i would have to go back & redo the exam, i lost my license for having a lead foot on the highway.
@@richardst-laurent6660 haha, I’m pretty good at everything really, just gotta check mirrors and stuff a little more, but other than that driving and parking in general is pretty good. On my test you get 2 mins to parallel park it’s doesn’t matter if you don’t park it right your allowed to go forward and back repeatedly untill your in which is great cause means I got a much better chance of passing. Do you live in Australia, uk or USA?
The ones I use (Visy north zone machines) are a cheap crappy model and always break down, the west zone has Tomra machines and the east zone has rvm systems which are both much better quality machines. So it’s just the northern area with bad rvms

Maggie I'm in the uk we are waiting for our deposit return scheme I wanted some advice on how to prepare what to look out for once our scheme is here
Seems a lot of work for $20. What do you like most about collecting and recycling?

@@TheVictorianCanCollector dk, I got the leaf blower for its motor and I got a lawn mower and wipper snippet for its 2 stroke and 4 stroke motor.
With all those beer bottles that trailer gets heavy to lig around, i bet your just counting the days until you can get your car.
