That what i used to think but once you start using niche you will understand why they cost so much. And it’s very hard to go back to designers once you are into niche.
Depends on what you're looking for. For me going from rasasi fattan to terre d hermes was equivalent to going from honda city to bmw 5 series. Both are comfortable and powerful sedans. But there's just overall a better feel good factor driving the 5 series. Is it 7 times better than the price of City? No. But 'WANTS' aren't bound to budget anyways and so is your appreciation to the quality it brings. So do whatever sails your boat.
