I admire that kind of purity. It takes a lot of guts to go, "no, the original did it best and I'm going to stick with that" rather than brainstorming on how to make your version stand out.
Very true observation. Not to say that the cover doesn't stand out, because it still has its own identity, but it doesn't put its identity in showing off. Definitely a cover I'll be relistening. As a side note, this design philosophy is also why I love Bismuth Music's piano covers. They show a restraint and respect for the original piece that I really appreciate and that's really hard to find elsewhere.

You should consider covering either Dragon Roost Island from Wind Waker, or the Rito Village daytime theme from Breath of the Wild! Both are technically the same thing?? Just different executions :]

Thank you for this cover! As a side project ive been using older Mida tools to make older sounding game music, and i was stuck on a bar-esque theme. I had been trying swing piano (which im not good at writing) with a snare backing but hearing the tamborine combined with the Accordian at 6/8 time signature REALLY gave me some inspiration.
That was fun to listen to. I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to hear you play Midna's theme, Kakariko Village, Midna's Lament, and Sheik's theme.
Phonogram Man would be very displeased at how good this is and what it'd do to his windmill. I love this! I was wondering... would you consider posting a longer/repeated a few times version? I would definitely have it on loop while working on projects but totally understand that it'd be more work
