Honestly, E&F Miler’s aren’t too sketchy to me. They’re pretty well put together(watching footage of Screamer at Scandia, you can see that even at moments of high lateral force, the structure doesn’t sway at all, the track has lots of cross-ties, and it operated for its entire 24-year existence with no incidents) and they’re built right here in ‘Merica!
so this ride is at funspot america atl now and i rode it for the first time last night and my god if it wasn’t the scariest coaster i have EVER been on 😂 i was terrified of derailing or something the entire ride 😅
That roller coaster looks like the former Star Jet that was in Seaside Heights. It was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. Strange that the name of this coaster is Hurricane and is the same model as the one in NJ.
It's a mirror image of Star Jet. First started at the defunct Celebration City as Jack Rabbit, then moved parks a couple times, including a brief period in storage at Fun Spot Atlanta.
Both were built by E&F Miler, who also built the Screamer that use to be at Scandia Ontario. I hear they’re Hi-Milers (like Screamer and Hurricane) are awesome!
This is actually a sleeper hit. If you’re with siblings or friends you’ll laugh your ass off the whole ride. If you take your grandma on this she may not be as amused
Just got on this for the first time yesterday. I was left speechless.... I have an artsy picture of the ruined Seaside Star Jet on my wall at home but never got to ride it pre-Sandy, so this was a special treat. The most hilarious part, to add to the jankiness, was that there was a single ride operator handling every ride in the Old Town section at once, and I had to wait for him to be done running another ride to come over and let me on Hurricane. Definitely a first!
Got to ride this back when it operated at Celebration City in Branson, MO. In fact, it was the very first coaster I had ever rode. Despite being super young, I still vividly remember just how jank this ride is. It's wonderfully awful.
I grew up on this exact ride back when it was at Celebration City in Branson, before it closed. This ride got me ready for other rides. This ride never felt like it would fall apart, to me. It definately felt different from other coasters, though and the seats and lapbars were pretty uncomfortable, especially with no leg room. If you think this is jerky, you don't know the definition of jerky. This is nothing compared to some Arrow Dynamics Runaway Mine Train Coasters! I LOVED this coaster as a kid and I miss it so much! So much that I've been planning a trip to Florida almost my whole life to ride it again. I'm glad that it still has a life somewhere and others are enjoying it! Also, I've ridden some sketchy coasters in my life and this doesn't even compare to those at carnivals and State Fairs.
Most concerning coaster is Space Mountain. 1 it’s apparently in Space. 2 It will kill your back. 3 The supports may decapitate you. 4 The ride hasn’t been updated in forever. 5 If it falls apart when your riding it, good luck and let’s just hope your return to Earth is pleasant
I think the same thing about some of the Wild Maus coasters. The switchback turns are so tight that I wonder how the car stays on the tracks. Hey we have outerbanked turns nowadays though so who knows.
I rode this as Star Jet on Casino Pier back in the day and if this one is scary, that one was completely horrifying!! The way you legit hang over the ocean on that back end was truly terrifying but i loved it and miss it🥺
I went on this exact ride a decade and a half ago at celebration city. It was even janky then, I have to wonder how the moves and age has treated it lol. As a kid I loved it and thought it was experimental in doing something crazy no other rides do. Now I can only help to think if it was even a good idea as other rides that did turns like that have slowly closed over the years
Never ridden this one but I did do Hurricane at Fun Spot Atlanta and that was… something else, to say the least. My reaction was pretty similar to yours lol
Pretty much all the E&F Miler coasters at FEC's are like this, coming from someone whos ridden the crazy dane wild mouse at Scandia in Sacramento, California
Wild Adventures removed that coaster because they thought it was going to structurally fail from all the constant vibration transmitted throughout the steel structure. Fun Spot is like: Whatev. There are 80 year old wooden coasters with more structural rigidity that this thing.
Are you getting your Fiesta Texas trip lined up for this late spring? Dr. Diobolical's Cliffhanger assembly is almost finished. A friend said the other day they only had three track pieces to install before they start the cosmetics, testing and finishing. I'm anxious to see you two ride this thing!
Park president says 22 more track installations but its very close to done. The track doesnt take long at all to be installed as its all prefab and perfectly cut
Fun fact I go to wild adventures theme park in Georgia and that roller coaster is the same exact one from here they got Ross of it, it was called Vikings Voyage
I gotta ask: when you visited Fun Spot America, Kissimmee, did Galaxy Spin actually spin for you? When I rode it, it spun for everyone else, but not me.
I rode this last week I think the height requirement is 36 inches there was a couple kids getting off when we walked up the platform. Couldn’t have been older than. Definitely a rough coaster
You should go to silver dollar city and ride outlaw run. There are lots of arguments rather if outlaw is better or steel Vengeance over at cedar point.
Park owner... directive... Ride manufacturer...Let's UNDER BID Intamin for most exciting ride in the "smallest" amount of space with the tightest turns. Got it! HURRICANE (cause it's in Florida) Brilliant!
We still haven’t seen you ride Popeye’s at Universal that you said you would do back during the livestream in December for Give Kids The World Village. What’s taking so long?
we planned to ride it in January, because that was what we promised, but we got so busy with people in town and things going on that our plan to do it kept on getting pushed back to the point where we missed our original target time frame. After that, we were off on different trips, and it started warming up again that it kind of defeated the purpose of doing the original challenge we said we would. We feel terrible, and still plan to do it at some point, but it might not be till later this year when it starts to get cold again.
The sketchiest coaster in Orlando is definitely VelociCoaster. I hear they built it in a pen full of angry dinosaurs.
LOL
Yes, we must have the over the head things for rides with loopdy loops
Well if idiots didn't demand they wanted an attraction with more teeth, they would've just added another petting zoo or something.
That's just a rumor. There's only a churro stand there.
I was pretending to be GP
E&F Miler’s always do have a certain quirky charm to them. They’re inept, yet very thrilling!
Slightly sketchy usually means more fun. Love me some Hurricane
@@stekonlm10 I’ll get to that after I hit up DC Rivals

To be fair, the fact you have to wonder if the track is about to collapse or the trains derail is part of the excitement!
so this ride is at funspot america atl now and i rode it for the first time last night and my god if it wasn’t the scariest coaster i have EVER been on 😂 i was terrified of derailing or something the entire ride 😅
This is my favorite coaster at either Funspot. Back row is like a miniature hyper.
Man that looks like fun! Janky coasters are always a treat

I rode this coaster while it was named jack rabbit at celebration city. One of my favorites.
Just got on this for the first time yesterday. I was left speechless.... I have an artsy picture of the ruined Seaside Star Jet on my wall at home but never got to ride it pre-Sandy, so this was a special treat. I love the clapping at the end! Made my day! 🥰🙌🏻😂
Rode this October all alone and it was really good
Aha I’ve ridden a very similar coaster to this one at the county fairs. Very sketchy but fun. Good video sir!
Got to ride this back when it operated at Celebration City in Branson, MO. In fact, it was the very first coaster I had ever rode. Despite being super young, I still vividly remember just how jank this ride is. It's wonderfully awful.

I vaguely remember riding it at Celebration City quite a while ago.
No Florida's scariest roller coaster was the Sandblaster.
But we don't talk about that coaster.
Yeah! For one, Hurricane is only about 20 years old, as opposed to the Sandblaster, which was almost FIFTY at the time of the accident.
This is like a wild mouse but janker. I so want to experience this to see if those how strong those laterals are.
bro a 7 year old child could design a better coaster then this thing
I literally just went to Fun Spot Kissimmee and had no idea this was here! Guess I have to go again now...
I remember spending a day at fun spot and my sister and I were the only ones riding the coaster so we marathoned it like 5 times in a row
I think the same thing about some of the Wild Maus coasters. The switchback turns are so tight that I wonder how the car stays on the tracks. Hey we have outerbanked turns nowadays though so who knows.
This ride is surprisingly amazing in the back row.
Really fun ride despite how janky it is, has some surprisingly good airtime
I rode this as Star Jet on Casino Pier back in the day and if this one is scary, that one was completely horrifying!! The way you legit hang over the ocean on that back end was truly terrifying but i loved it and miss it🥺
Janky would be the word I would use.

I saw this one at the end of old town Kissimmee! I was under the assumption that we had left the park so this was a strange sight.
This makes sense. When I visited Fun Spot Kissimmee in 2020, I couldn’t find it at the park anywhere.
@@jardins43 Almost rode it but decided that I didn’t want to have to pay for the hospital trip!
Never ridden this one but I did do Hurricane at Fun Spot Atlanta and that was… something else, to say the least. My reaction was pretty similar to yours lol
Remembering the wild adventures days
To give it some credit, at least the turns are banked to some extent
Man, this makes me miss my Scandia Screamer :( I love that E&F Miler jank lmfao
Hey no tears, bro! A place in Texas called Trader’s Village has saved it and it’s reopening there this year!
I miss when this was at wild adventures. I rode this as viking voyage a lot back when the park had a better lineup than it does now
Pretty much all the E&F Miler coasters at FEC's are like this, coming from someone whos ridden the crazy dane wild mouse at Scandia in Sacramento, California
Hope the hip replacements went well....

Best ride at FSK 🐸 ☕️
By far the sketchiest coaster I’ve ever ridden, and one of the most fun.
Should've done the back lol super fun for a tiny little tragedy thing
Those turn radii? I think that might have been 6 or 7 feet at the tightest. You could fit a smaller layout of that coaster model in a back yard.
I'm not sure when we'll get back to Fiesta Texas, but it's definitely on our list for the year!
This is Vikings Voyage, they sold it to Funspot back in 2018
I gotta ask: when you visited Fun Spot America, Kissimmee, did Galaxy Spin actually spin for you? When I rode it, it spun for everyone else, but not me.
it really comes down to how the vehicle is weighted!
That looks so much fun
I enjoyed it. I like the small trains
isnt this old town? or is this apart of fun spot
Did this years ago when it was located at Celebration City in Branson.
That should be renamed…. The Chiropractor!
why do the transitions look smoother than an arrow looper 💀
Probably because the Hi-Miler’s like this were mostly built in the late 90’s and early 2000’s: Later than most of the Arrow loopers
Fun fact: when I was 7 I rode this without fear but after I was horrified at the end, and this was my first rollercoaster
Looks fun. :)
If I’m correct that is a e&f miler right?
yup!
Best ride there in my opinion
That was just like the star jet in NJ seaside before it ended up in the ocean. Same layout .
I could not find that roller coaster when I visited Fun Spot Kissimmee. Is it hidden in a certain area?
it's in the back- you have to walk through Old Town to get there. It's pretty hidden.
I rode this last week I think the height requirement is 36 inches there was a couple kids getting off when we walked up the platform. Couldn’t have been older than. Definitely a rough coaster
Looks like one I road at the county fair in my teens...
You should go to silver dollar city and ride outlaw run. There are lots of arguments rather if outlaw is better or steel Vengeance over at cedar point.
I've ridden Outlaw Run dozens of times!
top 10 coaster in the state
Now.I get why its called hurricane
This Coaster used to be at my home park before we got turbulence.
First time I rode that coaster I was like how did I survive that it was scary for me for sure i thought I was gonna fall off
The one at Fun Spot Atlanta is even more sketchy than this one
Still one of the funnest rides in atl tho
this one shoulve stayed in planet coaster 😭
Park owner... directive... Ride manufacturer...Let's UNDER BID Intamin for most exciting ride in the "smallest" amount of space with the tightest turns. Got it! HURRICANE (cause it's in Florida) Brilliant!
I would think it has a lot of complaints because if them sharp neck braking turns 😂
Not as rough as mine blower haha
Should’ve sat in the back. Lots more ejector moments!
I think the reason that it's still safe is because they banked it. If it was just flat, it would probably be a lot more dangerous.
geeze I thought your heads were going to snap off on some of those turns. looks painful
It's like an extreme wild mouse with ejector airtime
I never saw this in the park so I never went on it. I stayed at Mine Blower.
sketchy builds character
You say jankiest but its a lot smoother than Mine Blower.
Trigger alert: I have this ranked over Hagrid's. It is fun. Ride it in the back for the best experience.
We still haven’t seen you ride Popeye’s at Universal that you said you would do back during the livestream in December for Give Kids The World Village. What’s taking so long?

I high fived a support on that coaster
Can you pls go to universal studios islands of adventure on Friday I’m going to be there pls
Honestly, it almost looks better than Mine Blower from the look of the forcess.
Timberlines: 9 foot radius
This: 9 foot diameter
More like hurticane!
It’s surprisingly not that painful
Orlando jankiest rollercoaster is in Orlando, not Kissimmee 😭😭😭
The manufacturer is going to give you a fracture
E&F Miler is actually a really good manufacturer. They have some pretty good stuff excluding the kiddie coasters.
The kind of garbage coaster you will find traveling to County Fairs here in California! No thanks!
00:15 nice ukranian flag :)
bruh💀
