You are right ...study leave feels too strange... like when I have to go back to school for exams I have this weird subconscious feeling that I no longer belong there like I already subconsciously admitted the fact that I am no longer going there
I also do the talking myself through the information method you mentioned. I feel like i can focus on elaborating the points as well as the expression i use. great vlog btw .
Thank you so much for making this video. It must be so time consuming to do it during exams so thanks for still vlogging. Good luck with the rest of ur exams!
31 minute video 🤗 Finishing my AS resits on Friday. Week gap until my A2s after. My chem resit today was horrriibblleee! Oh well. Good luck Rhiannon and everyone else sitting exams
@@justrhiannon frrr, I was shook when I saw it cos discuss means A03 but then its not normal lol. No one had ever told us about economic implications so your lucky your teacher mentioned them. I made it up but hopefully the rest went down well!
I'm a little more than 3 months away from my first.....and you just set the pace for me (thank you for sharing bits of your journey). See you on the other side, yeah?
Lol! I cut my pizza with scissors today after watching your other video and it’s actually 100 times better than a pizza cutter.. it makes the pizza really soft! Thank you Rhiannon x
I personally considered History - maths would give me a headache haha. What Prose novel and Drama/Poetry anthology did you study for English btw? Personally, I studied Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, Arthur Miller’s Crucible play and Seamus Heaney and Robert Frost Poetry
I just finished my exams for AS psychology, I have no idea how I have done lol and my grades have been so up and down the whole year 🤷♀️ my results in August are going to be 100% surprising to me
thought the psych paper was pretty okay other than those two questions aha they definitely worded the questions in a strange way! luckily, that morning i had been revising the predictions and nearly the whole paper was made up of them!
Are you on edexcel for history? Section C annoyed me so much because they’re meant to be “differing interpretations” but they basically argued the same thing 😤
The English education system have always been confusing to me, what will happen if after taking those A levels you decide to do something different, should you turn back in school for another year or you’re fucked up for life?
Stoicho Rusinov Kinda late reply, but: I did Law, English Literature and Ancient History at one college for two years, so I have technically finished now. But I'm going back to a different college to do Forensic and Criminal Investigations in September, so I am basically restarting. I don't know the exact cut-offs, but you can still go to college when you're 19 (maybe 20, but I don't know for certain). Depending on what courses you take, you may not necessarily need those subjects for university anyway, if that makes sense. For example, lots of unis will accept you for a Law course even if you didn't do it at A-Level because you don't really need to. There are also apprenticeships that you can do, and probably loads of other ways to get to where you want to be, but schools tend to push for college then university, and it's just the most common way to do things. Hope that made at least some sense because I tend to ramble :)
On the 6 marker I feel like I might have messed up. I talked about, commitment, flexibility and consistency but idk if by social change it meant the stuff like cognitive conflict and snowball effect etc. Do you think i’d still get some credit? I’m not sure what everyone else did.
Good luck on your exams! How long are A level exams usually? Here in Germany the final exams in school all are at least four hours long or even longer... And we've got to do oral exams as well in two subjects.
Sophie Laux it depends on the paper and the specification. Like I do CIE A-Level and so my biology paper 4 (which is theory) is around 2 hours but biology paper 5 (which is planning experiments) is 1 hour and 15 minutes. So yeah it changes per paper. Not sure if it changes for different specification
Also depends on the subjects. My A-Levels and their papers are (or were meant to be): Law - 3 exams, each lasting 2 hours. English Literature - one 3 hour exam, and one 2.5 hour exam. Ancient History - two exams, both 2.5 hours.
ANYONE HEREE WANNA HELP ME WITH MY PSYCHOLOGY ASSIGNMENT. ( A biograohy on sigmund freud) im not good at it but i dont wanna fail it either. anyone????

Ohhhh god, I’ve only now realised we had to do A03 for the ethical issues question... oops 😅
Becca Hall yeah but aren’t you supposed to talk about a social influence study and then discuss it using the ethical implications, so that’s your AO3.
Aimee Gardner yeh good point actually, I think you’re right there x
Becca Hall I hope so 😅
history killed me omlll but well done for getting through this!!

OMG same - my ethical issues one was a mess (I talked about good points and bad points) but it had no structure!
pfftt samme😂 i feel for the poor examiner who is going to have to read like 200 shit versions of the question

Aimee Gardner i did the same thing as you lol
Amber xx do you think it was wrong? I think there might be a possibility that we would still get some credit maybe like 3/4 marks idk 😐
Nah thats part of social change - its not the whole process but they key concepts in it
Gina Turner so you think it’s still creditworthy? Just won’t get full marks
Aimee Gardner yeah definitely
Good luck on your exams!
