your jirachi has the OT WISHMKR which is actually from the colosseum bonus disk so if that shiny isnt cheated or anything then that is actually one of the rarest shinys of all time because you can only get 1 jirachi per save file and the chances are 1 in 8192 so if thats real then that is an insane shiny

While editing this video yesterday, I was looking on Serebii to try and confirm its legitimacy because it was bothering me of how I couldn't remember how I got it + wasn't sure if it was real (to be fair, it's been about 10 years since I got it 😅). I went through old messages on Tumblr, and can confirm that I did get it from a trade/giveaway! However, I'm still not sure about its legitimacy because I found a post from the user giving it away saying they cloned a bunch of them to be able to give more than one away 0: But I'm assuming that means the one they cloned was a legit shiny Jirachi from Colosseum! Or at least I hope so... I have to look into how else you can check a Pokemon's legitimacy, but from what I saw online about cloned mons is that if the original was real, then it's fine! I hope it's a clone of a real one because it is one of my favorite mons + a super cool shiny to have 💖
i'm sorry for being a nerd emoji right now, but the wishmaker jirachi specifically isn't a 1/8192 it's actually a 1/7282! which makes it only one of two shiny hunts you can do in gen3 where the shiny odds are not full odds... I'm currently 11.5k deep for my Jirachi hunt as well
@@hihowarryaa9004 the other one is shiny unown in firered/Leafgreen. Because of its forms, the coding got messed up and some of the letters have odds as high as 1/5120 and as low as 1/18432!!

I'm aiming to have a full shiny team on it (I just need to catch one more mon), so maybe I'll film my process of how I went about shiny hunting in it! It's not too bad imo since you get to use the DexNav in the game to chain for them~ I hope you enjoy playing it too!! 🤩 it's the perfect blend of gen 2 + gen 3 aesthetics.

I “infected” a bunch of my mons with it from the one I won at a raffle when I went to a GameStop for the midnight release of Pokémon X and Y :) I can’t remember the exact Pokémon they gave me that had it, but I want to say it was a common one like Bidoof or Pidgey!

Very cool showcase! I sadly never encountered a shiny in a normal Pokemon run. The only shiny I've got is a shiny Ditto in Pokemon X that I specifically hunted for, because I (falsely) thought, that if you breed with a shiny Ditto the chances of a shiny hatching would be increased... yeah now I know that's total bs😅
