What videos would you like to see next?
Post moves
How to use physicality to get to the hoop
How to gas out your defender????
How to get to the rim if your slow
I really love this instrumental. Whats the name of it?
Every single time I watch one of this guys videos, I swear I actually get better at basketball, unlike most UA-camrs this guy uses nba players as examples and tells you what works based on if the pros do rather than basing it off opinion.
He doesn't do just nba players he shows examples of all levels like college, overseas, youtubers, etc... all the main concepts of basketball work regardless of the level
Same. I find myself rewatching videos multiple times, putting them in slow mo etc. such valuable info
@@roshawnseeny2531 even better, he finds examples from OTHER sports that use the same concept as his video topic
Exactly
As a 6’3 center, me learning this is really going to help a lot with me setting screens for my teammates and giving them the biggest advantage for an open lane
No positions on this channel or in the comment sections! You're a 6'3 hooper - nothing else!
But good luck using this screen🏀
@@CoachFrikki great mindset, one must know the whole realm of hooping, one shall not be confined to a position.
This is why I love this channel. A 4 minute analysis on something you can usually use only once a game. But now when I do it it is a free score. Keep it up
Yo, Coach ever since I viewed your videos I've been implementing new moves to my bag and winning my 1v1 against my friends. Ty Coach
He’s really the greatest coach
Honestly I’ve added a few Frikki Trikks to my bag in the past year and have gotten better at driving and scoring just by technique. Thanks for all you do
I absolutely love the live game examples.
Makes it so much more easier to learn.
Thank you for this amazing content.
Keep ‘em coming.
BRO TELL ME DIS GRAVITY FALLS BEAT LOWKEY GONE CRAZY RN💯🤣🤣🤣
Love this. Thank you for taking the time. Didn’t knew this move. Time to add it to the bag. Much respect.
Keep up the good work 2 thumbs up
Fire! Can't wait for this collab content 👀
Great content! Well researched. Straight to the point. Multiple scenario. I love your channel.
You helped me a lot Coach Frikki! Thank you so much.
Your lockdown videos turned me into a LA Fitness hall of famer. 😂 thanks coach
We always learn so much from you coach keep up ur hard work 💪
Great video, thanks! I had already realized this principle based on post defense, but not perimeter defense.
Loving this new lo-fi Gravity Falls music you're using lately ngl
You really making careers here keep it up ❤
This is so sick. great video man
Hey coach Frikki I really agree with your philosophy of skills training. I would like to know your opinion on guys like pjs performance, by any means basketball, and bobby whyte and how they prioritize actually playing the game and training qualities instead of specific moves
Always love to see a new video drop
3:09 HE'S A KEEPER LMAOOO
Haha had to sneak that in there
I like how you show both sides perspectives. The screener and ball handler.
Thank you coach!
Love u coach!
I watch all your videos.
Being a beginner I want u cover more of the basics move.
All the best team
I just need to apply your tips !! Hope to get in a game and make my game better !
I never noticed this screen when i watched nba game😂 it is so smart, thank you coach. I definitely use this screen against my opponents
Thank you coach you are the goat
Thank you coach! Could you go over Kds Hesi glide move please?
Lol at the gently nudge my guy clip
Thank you!
Great stuff
Another banger
Coach Frikki!🐐
thanks coach
This screen is genius!!!!!
now i know why ben simmons looked dangerous during his time on philly
yooo came for the bball content, stayed for the gravity falls soundtrack
I would like a video on how to beat physical defenders. 🐐
thanks
The gravity falls beat is cool. Reminds me of middle school.
just gently nudge my guy....guy: on floor
dang never thought of this
I've been dominating alot more every since the transition video
"how to create fouls and contact" should be the next video thank you in advance coach
Since this only works when the defender is above you, you could (theoretically) use this screen in a pin down action when your man is below you
Great point! Nothing theoretical about that though, pin screening 2 players is pretty common. Example the WNBA player at 3:17.
Coach can you make a video in Rebounding
Thanks coach! Is this viable in pickup or will it start fights?
Won't be a problem if you do it cleanly.
JJ Redick 'I gently nudge the defender'. 🤣Dude's grabbing the defender with full force and pushing like crazy! But that's how it is. Physical jousting off the ball! Aand what was that wrestlers playing ball thing!!?? Probably a fun exercise for wrestlers, but so random, no dribbling involved!
This works mostly for shooters, because the D will chase you close instead of defending the space you attack dribbling
100% - great point. That's why guys like Curry and Redick set such effective screens.
jj was really helping joel eat
I really want to see a how to read a defender and get to the basket video
Coach freaky
🔥🔥🔥
I've been doing that for my friends since I have close to zero scoring capability so I just do what I can to help my team score.
Bro how has no one mentioned the beat is Gravity Falls Theme remixed
1:16😳🤣🤣🤣
Gently nudge
what is going with wrestleball at 0:44?
Coach really used footage from the Russian basketball WWE MMA game lol
this move is funny but effective
Been watching and playing basketball for 30 years and this is a completely novel idea to me. We’ll done.
the fact that he used a rugball video😂
Þetta er klikkað smart
Haha, skákin að gefa
Why is JJ Reddick lowkey one of the most sneaky athletic players in the league?
Sannur amerískur föðurlandsvinur!
Would u let him date your daughter?
@@jihadijohn9408 well yes
You guys know how is this type of screen called?
Don't think it is called anything - you got any ideas for a name?
its criminal youre only at 144k subs
If he holds u like this he's a keeper?🧐🧐
How to get to the ZONE often as a hooper
If I do so, can the ref call me a foul as a moving block?
Why is it not considered a moving screen?
refs dont see it all the time
it doesnt really look like a screen anyways
This is one beautiful off ball skill. Dennis Rodman was also a God at this skill.
Money
How I go through my whole playing career and never realize this?
May the country of Iceland🇮🇸 be the strongest, dangerous, scariest basketball team in the world.
It could be used to screen for people without the ball too
Yup, back screens! Khris Middleton had one at 1:46.
if reassessing it more further i think its a illegal screen
Most of them were clean. Some like 1:19 and 2:38 could have been called.
IQ 📝
I thought restricting payers movements with hand is illegal. Please explain
Basketball is a contact sport. Both offense and defense can initiate contact. It's not a foul unless the refs call it.
1:19 and 2:38 probably could have been called fouls, but most of these clips were clean, in my opinion at least.
Fam is this violation? Moving screen?
that jokic play at 3:03 has got to be a moving screen right?
Nope - you can move as much as you want BEFORE the contact occurs. Great screen in my opinion.
lt' a smart way to help teamate, but it looks funny
its sad seeing when ben simmons actually played basketball
Man he was so good. Top 10 basketball IQ in the league which is crazy while being 6'10.
The only thing stopping him was picking the wrong shooting hand from a young age. He's obviously a right handed player trying to shoot with his left. Which is just impossible to make at a high clip.
Hold on I've been applauding your use of many sources for your example clips and now you actually find a way to include the Dagestani Khabib dribble-less wrestling mma-camp basketball ☠☠☠I'm finished
