Ahh vinland saga... was once a competitive rival against Demon slayer for best 2020 anime award. I feel like vinland saga deserves to win but yeah it was a tough competition as many felt Demon slayer was the 2020 anime of the year. In my opinion, it should have been vinland saga.
i think is kinda unfair to compare seinen and shōnen, but... in production value and as an adaptation that adds to the source material, Demon Slayer is better imo. in the actual story, characters and themes, Vinland wins.
