Namjoon is so gifted. The way he’s using the words to make a change and to touch peoples heart is not something that everybody can do! He’s such a great leader, a role model for the young generation, a talented writer (he writes many of the BTS’ s lyrics and he does it so beautiful and poetically), a great rapper and, of course, an amazing person! I love and appreciate him so much!

The things that i just LOVE about BTS is they are so humble, all of them didn't let fame get to their heads, they still see themselves as ordinary people and i think that is why people relate to them so much! LOVE U BTS, ALWAYS!!!!

When I was job hunting last year after taking a while to get my bearings again, I always listen to UNICEF speech before interviews. I'd sit in my car and listen to the speech before I head up. It calms me down and its like my own pep talk.

Kim Namjoon is my role model cause the way he shows everybody how to love themselves is amazing and his way of thinking is kinda similar to me too. I literally watched all of the members become more mature and humble as time went by and that time i realized that true love exists and thus is true love. Now i am more brave and humble just because of bts and RM.

I'm a guy and I'm proud to say I STAN BTS.They literally saved my life two years ago.Two year ago,I discovered them (pretty complex) and all they gave to me was happiness by listening to all their songs and watching their funny moments.Their song isn't just a NORMAL song it's like a TOOL for healing for example Magic Shop, that song keep telling me to keep going and those inspiration I get from their story makes me dun wanna give up. I LIVED by the word "Love Yourself" it's a simple word yet so powerful, It's not face or visual that makes us stay but the passion that they put into their music makes us FEEL BETTER and it probably saves a lots of lives.They hav no idea how much I'm grateful to them 💜💜💜

Namjoon is probably one of my favorite role model to look up to. He really is an amazing human being and the fact that everything he makes is so powerful and with so much meaning... man.. he really is an amazing person. Since I became an army I felt so touched by his lyrics and way of talking, thinking and seeing life.
Personally I’m quite depressed all the time but he warms up my heart so much and BTS being the humblest humans too. That’s why we love them and try our best for them.. ppl always say that we’re so persistent about making everyone know them but that’s because we know they deserve this, just this speech is a little part of all of those moments... bc they deserve so much recognition for all those beautiful messages they’re trying to share with the whole world.
For me, BTS makes this world a better place... they’re trying to share one of the humblest messages ever: how we need to love and speak for ourselves. 😭😭😭

This... THIS is why BTS is who they are. This modesty. Their humble beginnings. Their message. This is why they are unlike any other group and unparalleled in what they do. This is why so many people believe in them. This is how they changed my life and inspired me to be on the path that I'm on now.
Other groups are great, other groups are charismatic and good singers and dancer, other groups have great personalities. But there never will be another BTS.

Interesting Fact as a culture they are raised to bow to anyone older then their selves. They don't bow to each other but Jin being to oldest is definitely a senior. That is why the bowed here in to presence of seniors and even when they walk through the airport you will see them bow to even security guard or press that they considered seniors. It's actually humbling to watch their respect. Wish more of that in our culture.

Prior to this I have always respected Namjoon, and of course the rest if Bangtan, immensely but after watching this my respect for him went through the roof.
The way he talks, the way he thinks, the way he articulates himself amazes me.

I have listened to this speech so many times, and each time I get teary eyed. You can tell he was speaking from his heart and not just reading words. Everytime I feel like im going backwards and closing down letting my voice disappear again, i watch this video.

I saw the video of his preparation for this speech. He practiced very hard - all the time everywhere... and the other members were so supportive and so proud of him. You should try to find this video and watch it sometime. You will be amazed how truly dedicated he was...such a hard working and amazing young man 💜
It’s just so amazing that RM accomplished something so huge at such a young age of 24. He accomplished more than what most people would do in a lifetime In his 20’s. Speaking infront of the leaders of different nations around the world, wow such a legend!

it's incredible how much impact these boys have in my life. being a fan of them just teaches you a lot of things. makes you realize the important parts of life.
also, RM made a song about his speech in UNICEF and it's called Answer: Love Myself. it's a really beautiful and special song. it also includes samples of the UNICEF song theme.
