Thailand. Phuket. Birdwatching in Sirinat National Park. 17 & 20 December 2022.

We learned about such a hobby as birdwatching or watching birds in their natural habitat in Thailand at Benjakiti Park. In Phuket, we went to Sirinat National Park several times, first just to walk and hide from the scorching sun in the shade of the trees, and then to birdwatch. During the entire observation period, we saw about twenty of the fifty species of birds depicted on the information stand in the park. This is not a zoo where you come and look. Here you came to the park and it seems that there is no one, only a rare chirp is heard. You have to walk long and quietly, looking for someone. And when you find them, it turns out that life is in full swing here, and you can't choose where to look, something is happening everywhere, under your feet, in the water and in the air. It is difficult to see anyone on the tall trees in the dense foliage, you have to wait until the inhabitants change their position and sit down low so that you can reach them with your optical eye, and not against the sun, otherwise you will only see a black silhouette. The more beautiful the bird, the rarer it is and the farther away it is from humans.
