I am so glad to see you again! I noticed the pause, and I was concerned. I am so glad you knew when to step back and rejuvenate. Healthcare is very hard right now, and often our emptiness becomes palpable. Selfishly though, I am so glad to see again, and look forward to future videos.
I just picked up the modern oud from Marshall’s for $10! I am a total oud newbie and I think it’s a great intro to the oud world. Your right it does remind me of something from my past as well. I would love to hear more of your men’s cologne recommendations that us ladies can enjoy as well. I would have never ventured into the men’s fragrance department without your encouragement. Thank you!
You're an angel! Your profession....I wish we had services like yours in my country. 4 of my close relatives have lost their lives to different types of cancers. If only we had someone like you, the process/ journey would have been a little less terrifying... Sending you so much love and thanks in behalf of all those whom you help everyday.
I’m so glad to see a video talking about Rihanna fragrances ! I have the Velvet Amber Oud but now I am curious about the others . They sound lovely ! Self Care is so important especially in your line of work ! So lucky to have people like you 😍😍 Take care !

I've recently discovered your channel and I must say I love it. Perfumes are a good way of filling us back up when life is draining us. I love them. I don't think I have ever smelled an oud perfume unless it was by accident. I will make an effort to do so, though, if I can find one.
@@summerrose4286 the original Raghba could work if you like sweeter scents and Clean Reserve also has a good one...I believe it’s called Sueded Oud. Good luck!😊
@@NotesFromJosephine thank you! I will try and get one of those. In the meantime I bought a bodyspray of Fiori by Vince Camuto today that I saw on one of your videos and WOW.....I just LOVE IT.
Just watched the newest video about what you wore for the week, but could not leave a comment, so I wanted to leave it here. Loved that video and hope you do more like that. Also, would like to request a video about perfumes that are good for a wedding for the bride. Would love to hear your recommendations! Thank you so much. Love your videos!!
Love the musky oud… just received if yesterday… blind buy because of your recommendation… gorgeous! So mysterious! I have the velvet amber oud also love and The velvet musk( white one) actually love that too! Didn’t at first smell but after awhile I love it now!!! Just ordered velvet oud, can’t wait to see how it smells… I love these middle eastern smells and they last the way I love perfumes to last… like a beast! Musky oud is a winner! So good!
The tires flat, what a great metaphor Josephine. It’s funny I was in an incredibly stressful career early last year, and it wasn’t until everything shut down and I was furloughed that I realized how flat I had become. When they called me back I worked out a two week notice and am now pursuing what I love. I actually have a negative physical reaction now to the ring tone I used to have lol.. Hi Josephine, welcome back! My bottle of the Raghba Wood Intense has just arrived, it is amazing, I'm so glad you reviewed it, I have the original Raghba that everyone talks about but this one is even better! If you like these type of fragrances, I really like the Aramis Calligraphy collection, especially the rose and saffron and I also love a great one by Lomani called Black Rose, very beautiful! Thanks! 😊
Glad to see you again 🥰 I’m originally from Middle East & the beaded necklace you showed with the perfume is called ( sab’ha ) , the word ( wa ) serve a purpose like ( & ) ! The perfume would be called sabha & oud ! Oud is such a strong note & I usually associated it with men , but Musky & oud is appealing to me , it sound soft & powdery !
Thank you for your videos I really enjoy watching them and I learn so much I’m looking at Sabha Wa Oud would you say this oud is safe for beginner oud fragrance. You mentioned it was a sweetish..Thank you 😊
Hey sis glad to see your smiling face! Glad you've stepped back (wether on purpose or not)and given your spirit, mind, and body space! It's funny (because I'm not normally an "Oudy" kinda guy) I've picked up three oud fragrances since January: LaYuqawam PH(dupe for TF's TL, WOW is all I can say about this one!) ; M7 Oud Absolu,YSL ; Alpha Oud by Dua Fragrances an inspiration of Roja Parfums H Aoud. Not one was over 45 bucks YEAH!! After the first wearing I was like I need more!! They do comfort me and have definitely scratched an itch lol! I ALMOST pu on secondary a bottle of Lancome's Oud Bouquet but it was right at a 100$ but more than the budget but I guess was still a good deal but I stayed strong lol!! Anyway, as always, thank you for the post and thx for the joy you and your channel bring all us frag geeks!! TNT, take care Sis!!
I am OBSESSED with OUD, I love Tom for of course, but it's FUN finding other scents that are still rich and affordable without too much alcohol blast...Thankyou for your video your voice is so darn Calming. Wow 👏 great communication. I am now a subscriber...SMASH
Lovely review!! I have never tried any of Rhianah fragrances, The only Middle Eastern fragrance I tried was Ragbha, it is very popular among UA-cam reviewers however it wasn’t my cup of tea a little too masculine. Maybe I’ll give Rihanah a try.
So glad to hear your thoughts on these Middle Eastern perfumes. Right now I am obsessed. Can you please tell me about the shelf life of these fragrances. They are very affordable so do they last long on the shelf?
I never considered wearing oud perfumes to bed but am sure to try it now. I have Velvet Amber Oud and it is so interesting. On me it goes a bit hippy dippy incensy and then has the loveliest dry down, very warm and powdery at the same time. I understand that it could be headache inducing for some. I was so excited to get it and totally oversprayed the first time and it was a bit suffocating. It took me a few weeks to pick it up again and now I love it, but my maximum is two sprays! I now have my eye on Rihanah's Velvet Amber Musk. Have you tried that one? Thanks so much for the lovely video!
Hi Josephine, I am a newbie on your channel. My sister in law was just diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, needless to say it’s been so tough on me and my husband (his sister). Any advice would be great. I am also a perfume lover and collector. I’m so happy I stumbled on your channel. Thank you for your wonderful vlogs.
I’m sorry to hear about your sister in law...that new diagnosis is hard. My only advice is to take things a step at a time and remember everyone’s journey is different. Sending good energy your way.😊
I only own one Rihanah fragrance, velvet musk, and it is a very simple but pretty musk to me! Aren’t the bottles so gorgeous? I got mine on fragranceX as well. ☺️ I also have a Rihanah sample called secret musk which is so pretty! After the initial burst of pear, it becomes one of those warm sweet smoky scents 🥰 (this is my favourite way you wear your hair by the way!) xo
I can understand your point of view with your profession in the health Care i admire you beautiful perfums from a lovely woman greetings from the Netherlands
I haven’t reached the “oud phase” of my perfume collecting, so this gives me some great options to try. I love your arm warmers, are you a knitter as well as a fragrance collector?
The fragrance name is RAGHBA WOOD INTENSE by LATTAFA. Lattafa is the name of the fragrance house (Middle Eastern). Check out also the original RAGHBA by the same house. Also a cheap intro into Oud. Thanks for the video.
Awesome review! Between sab'ha wa oud and musky oud, what is better for a man in his 40's and would you consider these masculine? I own Private Oud from them.. its amazing and smells like Tom Ford Oud Wood but better! What about the other fragrances? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
All of these are very unisex - Musky Oud is probably the most traditionally masculine. If you’re looking for something more on the masculine side, Oud Mosaic by Banana Republic is nice or Black Aoud by Montale which is quite dark. Thanks for your comment!
@@NotesFromJosephine Thank you so much for your feedback! I'm trying to find good fall/winter fragrances and have been interested in Rihanah but can't find much about them. I heard sab'ha wa oud smells great by some and others say it smells like a latte. Thanks again!
I have had 2 fragrances from Rihanah so far... The VIP Oud and also the Musky Oud. I don't like the VIP Oud at all. Too soapy, floral and too sweet in a way. It reminds me of women's perfumes from the 80's. As a unisex fragrance, it is definitely too feminine. The Musky Oud......oh.yeh......this is a masterpiece. I now have my third bottle. Absolutely brilliant scent.....Ombre Leather meets Spicebomb, paired with saffron, red fruits and an oud accord..... Divine.
Hello. How is the longevity and projection of this perfume? is much inferior to eros versace? What other perfumes Rihanah for man or unisex is good in projection and longevity? Do you know vip Sheikh, Ajwaa Oud, Areej al Oud?
New viewer here, hello from the Netherlands Europe! Just wondering, how do you wear your perfumes? You mentioned the second perfume could give you headaches. Did you try spraying it on your clothes instead of skin? Curious to see if that might help....
@@NotesFromJosephine Hello again Josephine! There seems to be very little discussion among reviewers of the possible effects (long term or short term) that spraying fragrances on the skin may have. I have experienced things like a funny taste in my mouth, a few minutes after applying oil perfumes to my skin. This has made me re-think how I apply fragrances. Thanks for your reply, wishing you a fine summer 2021... : )
