I really like my Lunar Pilot on a black silicone rally strap. It’s a heavy watch and it stays in place, not rolling around on my wrist with the silicone strap. I want to try it on a quality mesh strap in the future.
The original strap with a diamond texture from the 'Lunar Pilot Archive Series' fits best. Add the original clasp from the Wilton 20mm model, and you have the most beautiful and completely original set!
I'm actually enjoying my Lunar Meteorite on a distressed brown leather strap. The tach complication's reflections look almost brown in some lighting environments and the dark distressed brown actually works nicely. I also own the "Snoopy" Bulova Lunar Pilot, and that's on a blue with white stripe NATO at the moment. These 2 watches are currently a couple of my favorites in my collection right now!
That Meteorite Bulova is a beautiful piece. I'm liking the green strip/nato combo, very cool. Another awesome episode, Alix. Thanks so much for sharing with us !!!
Looks surprisingly good on the gator & tricolour nato imo, but the blue nato looked out of place. Still pretty versatile though for such a specific design. Or maybe I’m just feeling Bulova extra right now as I’ve just picked up my first, an all-steel Precisionist chrono. 😉
Do you have a good watch strap changing tool/thing majigie that you could recommend? I have a few NATO straps and a mesh bracelet, but I have relied on the watch shop to change out for me.
If you buy a good watch tool kit, it usually comes with screwdrivers, drive pins and hammer, and a screw-driven pin tool. Or get a specialty pin tool like this: www.uhren-zubehoer.de/Equipment/Watch-Tools/Tools-for-straps/Bergeon-Pin-remover-with-spindle.html
Hey Alix! Hope you're having a great week. Question; ran across several websites that specialize in "replica Rolex watches". It blows me away at how they get away with it all (you've probably seen them). Seems like patent and copyright law would come into play, big time. Thoughts? Thanks for your time. Can't wait for your next episode!
It is illegal to use the Rolex name, but basic design cues are harder to defend. I have several episodes where I complain about fakes. At least an homage has the name of the manufacturer on it
@@TalkingTimepieces Thanks Alix. Most likely, I'll never own any timepiece as high-end as the Rolex, but I still enjoy looking at them. The thought of actually purchasing and owning a fake or 'replica' of one is sickening to me. Oh well! Different strokes for different folks!

Thank you! I really appreciate it!
I like my lunar pilot on a dark grey suede... but nice options shown too
Playing with straps is fun!
I wonder if the jet star bracelet would look good on this beautiful watch.
Probably
Gray best

Fair enough!
