8 is pretty good, Anything under 20 is spotless on paint and under 10 won’t even leave spots on glass. That resin seems like pretty high quality. These thing do depend on your water quality which does vary wildly.
What fittings did you use to tap the inline tds meter into the system at 7:14?

How do u store the unit over the winter months, so the resin that is still good, doesn't go to waste?
My garage doesn’t get below 50 degrees but i wash all winter long my water feed is not outside luckily
The level of TDS is dependent on how fast the resin needs changing. At 50 tds its not surprising its lasted that long. Washing with 200-400 drastically shortens its life.
yes but considering i wash 4+ cars multiple times per week and everything around the property this TDS level lasted far longer than I expected.
@autofanaticcars my post was more for everyone else that has higher tds so they don't get it and expect it to last that long for them, then be mad when it doesn't.
Tds is what will determine how long it will last. There is a chart out there how long to expect resin to last with gallons based on tds
Is there a specific reason you wont run the cr spotless?
had one too costly to keep refilling their system this is more compact, half the price and works better and last way longer than the CR system i had over 10 years ago
I wish I had a TDS of 51 straight out of the hose. Mine is between 300-400.
