Wahrscheinlich wegen Werner Herzog.
Watched this at uni when we discussed the play. No rendition for stage can do Kinski justice. You feel his anguish here. A tortured soul through and through.
A really underrated film which only took something like 18 days to film. Kinski was quite good in this. The opening is sort of like a topic sentence of what the play is about. Herzog directed the picture with a fine eye and a sensitive ear.
Today I read Buchner's play for the first time and it makes me appreciate this whole sequence even more. These few minutes really capture Woyzeck perfectly.
Kinski is the best actor ever! I can't believe that the guy who plays this poor, downtrodden soldier played the SOB conquistador Aguirre too! Say what you want about the man personally, it's probably true, but as an actor he was extraordinary!
My theme for when I go to work every morning.
Same here
Do you work at a serial killer and child rape factory?
No other actor out there can match Kinski's anger, madness and sadness a unique individual.
I've never felt so sorry for a character in the first two minutes of the film. Klaus KInski had a truly unique talent.
He was an extraordinary actor 🕵️🤔🎬👏👏👏
I find it pleasing to imagine that the owner of the boots kicking Kinski is Werner Herzog.

unforgettable opening sequence with the genius Kinski

This opening song contains a little part of Stroszek's opening theme.
woyzeck should have had his own series!
Tolles Video, hat mir sehr geholfen!! !!! !!!!! !! ?? 😂😂🎉🎉🎉😢😢❤❤❤❤😅😅🎉😮😂😮😂😅😂😊❤😂😅❤
This is what Kinski would have done with Herzog during the shooting of their films. :'D
❤️
does anyone know the music box melody from the intro?
