I only had a couple hours to burn so I decided to head up there and tried to catch some fish on artificial. I was not able to get the dinner fish I was after, but I did catch some nice Snook which was worth the trip.

Me personally reel them in fast and rip it occasionally while reeling too. I too fish with the hs slammer fishing flarehawks. I have the regular slammer III's too. Great reels with a monster drag too. I think I have 4 and 1 hs. My other spinning reels are penn clash. Really like them inshore fishing in the mangroves and canals. Indian River Lagoon. Merrit Island FL. If you're ever down this way...or up don't know where you live lol, holler!

i let them hit the bottom then kind of just jig them of the bottom, you mignt lose some but you will definitely hook some
