      Extremely clutch lift by Jabari. But I’m amazed that last year’s 385 by Vallenilla would’ve won this year with the stacked lineup in the A session. The 10th place total for Paris keeps rising. It’s now 370 I think by next summer it’s going to be around 375-377. Jabari does a better back flip than Andreev - much quicker.

    Rahmat weighing 76 kg and makes 209 Kg , look easier than whole 89 kg category lift 209 kg. Rahmat is anothet level

    It’s such a shame that Tian is so inconsistent, he would be a GOAT if he could just hit those lofts more consistently

      he is not inconsistent. he's extremely consistent of making 1 lift out of 6.

      thats his super power, be consistently inconsistent and when he nails the lift it becomes a spectacular spectacle

      his elbow accident has forever changed him, but his still good. I still prefer Chen Lijun, or Lu.

    Truly enjoy the broadcasters. Knowledgable, articulate and enjoyable to listen and relates their information to the upcoming Olympics as well as the lifters past history. Hope they broadcast the Olympic lifters!

    Mir Mostafa's last lift is giving so much 2016 Kianoush Rostami from Rio 2016. The Iranis somehow wrench the bar off the floor and get it overhead 💪
    Would've loved for Li to have gold, but Mostafa earned it

      He is jacked because of steroids. See him come off it and see what he looks like naturally. Juice to the gills and so as the rest of their lifters in that country😂

    Seb check out Gary Deal. Born 1940 at the age of 10 he got polio which shriveled the right side of his body.
    I wish Weightlifting House around when I was a kid.

      The Chinese prefer consistency. I’m sure Tian Tao adds a lot more grey hairs to coaches heads than Li Dayin even tho at their best I think Tian Tao is 1%-2% better.

      Him going 3/3 in the snatch recently is a good thing at least. Though missing 210 and 216 is still very questionable.

      If they keep up the lifting but reduce the intensity of their workouts you can still do this sport long past 60

    Seb, I love what you are doing for this sport, but sometimes its so hard to watch your commentary. You are so negative about tons of athletes that it makes me not want to watch. I just wish you could stay more objective and uplifting about everyone.
