Not going to lie. I like this platform of watching the lifting comps the most. Its well filmed, stream lined to where we don't miss anything that happens on the platform, is trimmed in time to be and hour or less.

The first lift that got 3 reds looked incredibly similar to the next that obtained 3 whites. To an amateur like myself, her elbows bobbled the same amount both times.

I watched it back, I agree, perhaps slightly less movement. Still a little unclear what that means the rules are though?
Gotta say I'm not loving the snatch and clean and jerk being split up, I wanna see the competition as a whole and it would be nice to get to see the scorecard and the end of the video to really grasp the difference between the athletes. Other than that I'm grateful to be able to was these competitions, the championship has been very interesting
Liang Xiaomei has at least 165 in her. It would be nice to see her pushed to her limit. And yes, it would be a great moment for the sport if they abandoned the whole "press out" farce. It's a horrible rule.
The judging is ridiculous. A millimeter or two of so-called press-out gets you a no lift. Watch old videos of international lifting and you'll see lifters getting away with real press-outs.

The press out rule always upsets me so much. I don't understand it. It's not like it's easier to press a weight than it is to jerk a lift. Plus it's natural to want to move with the weight, and women's bars wobble with high weights. It's so dumb. Down with the press out rule.
The China Lady who pulled out injured her left leg on the last lift she did. You can see her limping off stage.

That your arms ain't straight
It means they get to cheat unlike the other girls that get called for no lift if their elbows dot immediately lock out
Why didn’t Maddie go 142 for 2nd lift? Too hard to go back to back
