Spear Traps placed underneath the windows! I have the jump mod, which lets you jump four tiles whilst running, so I imagine you could jump at least one, maybe three! I tried jumping over one but I pressed the wrong key to jump.... so yeah died. When I try it next, I'll let you know the results! These could be deadly in MP, hidden by a couple of boxes, or on either side of your bases fences. On their side they'd be forced to find another route, on your side, if they climbed over, well..... This is how you died! :D They all seem good mods!
That's a smart strategy for multiplayer. If there was a way to conceal these traps effectively, they'd be top-notch defenses. Though I'd likely steer clear of attempting to leap over them - sounds like a recipe for a Doom-level disaster! 😆
Great tips for mod, thank you! I've been tortured by zombies standing outside my base door. My base aimed to protect my ass but turned out to attract and focus more zombies at the door. Now, I no longer have to sneak to my base by climbing the wall after those traps and turrets are installed! By the way, I love the shooting bridge idea!

You know what? It would be absolutely incredible if they do that. I'm not sure if they would, but we can only hope. By the way, there's this game called Night of the Dead I was testing, and it has a somewhat similar concept. You are placed on a map that you can explore to gather resources, and you need to build your own base from scratch. Be prepared because every night you'll have to deal with a horde attack that progressively gets more difficult with each passing night. Obviously, it's not exactly the same, but if you really like base defense games and zombies, that's a good option.
Definitely did and always do. I love this game so much and spreading knowledge of the game really helps it feel like a community. Just the other day I was able to teach a UA-camr that player made stairs can be disassembled via the pickup/place side menu so you can recover some or all the materials. Gotta love PZ

Love the spear trap, ruined a few runs (even worse found you can turn it off from killing player in menu)😅...gotta check these other out. Love to spice things up more realisticly. Just added the turrents cant wait

The turret mod I feel is a bit silly and a death trap with how loud guns are but the French caltrops fit right at home with the world of zomboid

The icon of Cheval de frise appears to be too big. Any fix?

Yes, these things have like a health bar, and once it takes enough hits, they just give up and break.
