Since birth, I have always loved game shows and I even thought I was gonna grow up to be a game show host. And one of the great things about being a 90s kid, was being able to watch some of the best game shows ever. 90's Nickelodeon cornered the market when it came to game shows for kids, but there were other channels trying to do similar things. And while today's guest did do some work for Nickelodeon, the show he's best known for aired on PBS. Today we interview Greg Lee about what it was like host "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" on public television. We even talk to Greg about some little known facts about Carmen Sandiego even HE didn't know and a little bit about why game shows kinda disappeared for while. This was a fun interview, thanks Greg:)

Thank you!!! I did an interview a long time ago and after every sentence I kept responding to them with "Right....RIGHT....Right-Right...Right...." I'm sure I kept that in mind this time around, lol.

I enjoyed the interview you did with Greg Lee he is and still is part of my childhood it’s been a while but now watching the game show Carmen Sandiego on UA-cam it’s so much fun to relive that and remember the happier memories of growing up in the 90s and watching the cartoon Doug and Doug’s 1st movie as first Mayor Bob white but then as Principal White in the movie yes Greg Lee, Lynne Thigpen and then Rockapella made me get to learn more about Geography in a whole new fun way I was a nerd in school so this made me fit in I try to answer the questions and it’s still fun even though now I might get it wrong but I get most of the questions right also so you a great interview with Greg and keep doing what you are doing

The two funniest bits was when the ping pong balls fell on Lynne any time Carmen's whole name was said and when she and Greg did the whole Chocolate Waffles thing.
Greg had such great chemistry with Lynne as the Chief...it is surprising that they both could keep a straight face during the office bits.😊😅😅😂

16:42 I actually have an idea of a new Carmen Sandiego game show.
But I did had the Netflix cast and crew in mind (the one starring Gina Rodriguez). But I would definitely like to have any of the original crew from the two Carmen game shows involved as well.
It serves as both a revival and pseudo-continuation of where the Netflix series left off.
I would've much rather seen Netflix make a game show instead of the animated series, but hey, what do I know? I'm a game show guy.
