As I mentioned in the video, if you’re into DIY, peaceful videos and Japan - please check out my friend Tsukumi’s channel: www.youtube.com/@CountrylifeJP/ She and her husband bought an old house in the Japanese countryside and she renovates it all by herself, it’s very impressive and her videos are very calming. Also she has the cutest little dog names Ribbon chan 😍🍃
Quite fortuitously I came across your channel. I am a Japanese national living in eastern Canada. I totally enjoyed this upload and had a virtual and vicarious walk in a country side. I am so impressed that you do notice subtle and small things!, and I consider it a great talent. Some small and every day things you find during your walk, e.g. sidewalks and small streams between houses etc. Many people go unnoticed about those things, but you do notice and appreciate them! By the way, those birds you find in rice fields are white egrets/herons. You find them in Kamo River in downtown Kyoto as well. (they prefer clean and pure water, meaning that no pesticides in the water in the region you find them). I will watch the next upload about Lake Biwa. Cheers.
Oh hey there, thank you so much for your kind comment - makes me very happy that you like those details as well 🥰 Japan is such a beautiful country with a very unique culture, it makes me want to pay close attention to everything. The tiniest things seem to hold their own story and I want to know about all of them ☺️💕 Thank you for pointing out the name of the birds! I’ve seen them around Kamo river as well, they’re so cool 🎉 White egrets/herons it is 😌👍✨ Very glad to hear you’re enjoying the videos from far away Canada, thank you for watching 🥰🙏
Beautiful Place but i bet the bugs will get crazy with all that standing water! Nice wind sure that will help with the bugs. I cant wait I have a to live for the weekend for a youtube meet up! i will watch it 100% when i get back Sunday. but your doing great so far! thanks for the share and stay awesome!
Thank you so much, I'm very happy you like it! Watch it fully whenever you have time, it won't run away now :D And man yeah the bugs are surely something to consider when you're staying in the countryside but it's also nice to hear them - such summer vibes!
Fireflys are ok, because they're small. Cicadas are much worse, because they are quite large and loud for insects. Regarding the Kanji from the Shrine: 賽銭箱 is read さいせんばこ or saisenbako in Romaji and means "offertory box" in English or "Opferstock" in German. It's a box for donations. When you are whispering at the shrine, it's sometimes difficult to understand what you saying, even with my speakers at max volume. Maybe speak a little louder or add that as text on screen. if you have the opportunity try Coolish, if haven't yet. It's a very unique ice cream brand.
Ooh yeah, would certainly not want a cicada to take a nap on my arm either! Thanks for the kanji explanation - that's not as surprising a message as I thought it might be xD But now we know what it means, thank yoou! A yes sorry about that. Great idea to include these parts as subtitles. Don't currently have the time to write them myself but I'll do my best the next time!
