Is it a flying wing design you're seeing fly out at night? I'm not saying I don't believe you. I'd love to live where you live!

What is really interesting to me is that Northrup claims the B21 is 1-2 generations ahead of the B2 in stealth capabilities. With the B2 still remaining the most stealthy aircraft in the world, how the B21 can be 2 generations ahead of it is insane. There must be some new stealth technology that is totally alien to us, not just a new shape and a new coating. China has been trying to make a stealth bomber for over 30 years now and still hasnt, meanwhile America just blew the B2 out of the water, its scary how far ahead US military technology is.

Amazing that the B-21 is essentially a tweaked version of the Northrop THAP from 40 years ago. They had that overall shape nailed to the wall decades ago.
My biggest and most important question about the B-21, does it come with a toilet? Because those 14 to 44 hr roundtrip missions that the B-52s and B-2s have done are insane.

6:06 America actually offered the B-21 but Aus declined, even Northrop said that it could happen later when the bomber is more mature. It's the first 6th gen plane, it's not just something you can ask to buy unless there are strings attached.
Remember, Aus has Pine Gap, so even though small they are way up there on our allies list. In the Marine Corps there were always Austrailian Defence Force troops at the bases doing co-op training missions. Plus they are very on edge with China. So we want them to be protected.

The top section of the wing is fairly flat because of the low profile intakes . The intakes have humps that hide the engines from radar . If it's using the GE adaptive cycle engines, the B-21 could power a directed energy weapon. The new engines were rumored to generate much more electricity.
@rapidsqualor5367 a directed energy weapon would be sick, but idk where you'd put it without compromising stealth. Unless it has internal hydraulic doors on the top but that again compromises stealth when open.

Your information on the coatings on the B2. They don't need to be replaced every mission. Minor repairs may be necessary but the entire coating gets replaced every phase cycle.
This B-21 HAS BEEN 3-D PRINTED USING CARBON-CARBON WITH INTERNAL AIRCRAFT ALUMINUM FRAME. I'm wondering if the intakes are designed, along with the nearby parts of the fuselage, to act as a sort of upside-down wing. That would create a suction force that pulls more air in, so the intakes can be buried on top of the wing and reduced in size without air-starving the engines.
The inlets are designed that way to reduce the radar signature. A big rotation fan at the front of the engine has a large radar signature. The exhaust is designed to cool it down so heat seeking missiles will have trouble spotting it.
If you look carefully at videos on UA-cam of the B-2 from the ground and behind, you can see that from some angles, it *almost seems to disappear*! I've always kinda suspected that they did some trickery with the exhaust to cause a kind of "heat haze" effect that scatters the image of the bomber. I can't imagine what they have in store for the b-21!!

The real game changers are the new "designer" Pratt and Whitney Houston engines! Stop flying over my house though. I just saw 3 b21s flying single file in upstate NY! With a strange very long grey plane in the back I couldn't identify. Very cool.
Your rendering is wrong, but you know this. From what I've seen, the rear has been released. The exhaust is like the F-117 with the exhaust slanted upwards. The high resolution pictures released show the B-21 with 2 engines. The B-21 does use the same look around system as the F-35. Also remember, the B-21 is man and unmanned. The B-21 is being tested at Edwards Air Force Base. The B-21 has the same RCS as the F-22 of 0.00001. The B-21 can loiter over the S-400 without detection.
Ok smarty pants! How do you know in your great wisdom that it can in your so called words "loiter" over an s400? As if it's ever been tested in that way first of all and second of all any information such as that would be a closely guarded top secret! Not someone like you, so stop making things up, it makes you look silly, I just care about you and don't want people to laugh at your comments sir
I'm sure I saw a b-21 R 3 nights ago. 1:30 am actually. I had a dream about the 1950's... woke up and walked out on the terrace and looked up at the sky. Very clear on the coast with clouds back in the mountains. At first I thought I was seeing a UFO. I could see the squared off wing tips and then I thought it was a B-52 stealth, but I was sure it didn't have the jag center tail... I'm sure it was smooth. I would swear it was light grey in color... maybe just looked that way in the night. It was going south and seemed to be flying lazer straight and smooth. I didn't hear a sound, maybe because of wind direction. I really could be off on the altitude but I'm going to say 15,000 feet...no way over 17,000 feet. Seemed fairly slow maybe 280 or 250. Smooth and silent. I'm halfway down the Pacific edge of Costa Rica on the coast. Could it be on a test run, even unmanned test ? This had me looking up for the next 45 minutes but nothing was coming behind it. Also it had no lights flashing. It was a strange thing to see. We have all kinds of helicopters now and then. Usually a Blackhawk and a Chinook together. Anyway just chiming in. Peace.
Do you think they will change the color of the stealth aircraft. Not really the biggest fan of white. Just reflects too much light and I think it would hinder its ability to be undercover. I hope they go for a more gray color ( not black ) but something just a little less noticeable.
My guess is we'll end up with a lot more Raiders than 100.. The concept of long range extremely stealthy aircraft is useful for much more than the strategic bombing.. With 200 or more B-21 Raiders they could be used in a tactical role armed with AARGM-ERs, SIAWs, AIM-260 JATMs, Storm Brakers, LRASMs, HALOs, etc...
We’ve all seen how well the S-400 has performed in both Syria and Ukraine. Not very well. In Syria, Israeli aircraft fly unchallenged, and in Ukraine the S-400 has been unable to protect targets even when Russia has known precisely what’s being targeted. The war in Ukraine has confirmed what many western analysts suspected, which is that the Russian government has overhyped its military capabilities significantly.
I am a little confused that the latest photographs of the B21 seem to differ from the imaged taken during its first revel to the press. There seems to be extra windscreens under the main windscreen that wren't there before.

The real game changers are the new "designer" Pratt and Whitney Houston engines! Stop flying over my house though. I just saw 3 b21s flying single file in upstate NY! With a strange very long grey plane in the back I couldn't identify. Very cool.
There are certain cards the U.S. need to keep close to their chest...this awesome machine is just one of them.
Like the F-22. It's almost 30 years old and is still the premier, air-superiority fighter in the world.
Are adaptive cycle engines ready? I though they were still in testing.
Not someone like you, so stop making things up, it makes you look silly, I just care about you and don't want people to laugh at your comments sir
so long, lets go fishing..!!! love how you mature your animations on each video
Thank you!
Nah, Australia pussied out and there will be no Indo-Pacific strategic drop bears from Canberra.
Peace.
Gorgeous
Do you think they will change the color of the stealth aircraft. Not really the biggest fan of white. Just reflects too much light and I think it would hinder its ability to be undercover. I hope they go for a more gray color ( not black ) but something just a little less noticeable.
My guess is we'll end up with a lot more Raiders than 100.. The concept of long range extremely stealthy aircraft is useful for much more than the strategic bombing.. With 200 or more B-21 Raiders they could be used in a tactical role armed with AARGM-ERs, SIAWs, AIM-260 JATMs, Storm Brakers, LRASMs, HALOs, etc...
so long and thanks for the fish
I wanna see this bomber up against the s-400
We’ve all seen how well the S-400 has performed in both Syria and Ukraine. Not very well. In Syria, Israeli aircraft fly unchallenged, and in Ukraine the S-400 has been unable to protect targets even when Russia has known precisely what’s being targeted. The war in Ukraine has confirmed what many western analysts suspected, which is that the Russian government has overhyped its military capabilities significantly.
would like to see how it goes up against. Australia's Over the horizon radar ..it detected and tracked the B-2 in the 90's from Guam ..
Looking at the plane from the front it looks even more than the b 2 like a ufo
Thanks for the fishes.
The shiny coating are said to combat laser detection/ targeting?
Thanks for all the fish
...And thanks for all the fish.
I am a little confused that the latest photographs of the B21 seem to differ from the imaged taken during its first revel to the press. There seems to be extra windscreens under the main windscreen that wren't there before.
